  • Keyboard- and mouse-event transparent widget

    When i click a button my main window i want it to become transparent to keyboard and mouse events, i.e. all keyboard and mouse events should pass to any windows below it as if that window is not present there. "Qt::WA_TransparentForMouseEvents" does not work here as this only make child windows transparent to keyboard and mouse events i guess. And my window is main window and i want to pass all event to any window on desktop not just parent window.

Here the problem is I am gettin the background image from the server link I had passed to the webview as baseurl but the images footer.png and details_back.png which were stored in resource is not displayed. if I use the resource bundle as the baseurl then I am not displayed the background image from the server link. Can anyone please give me the suggestions to get rid of rid of this problem. thanks to all guy's, Monish.

  • Still waiting! WPF issue: Showing HTML <DIV> on top of WPF app

    Hi, I am new to WPF. We are facing one issue. We are showing/launching a WPF browser application from an web (ASPX) application. The web application has a navigator menu with drop-downs (on hover). It works fine till the user is using the web application (aspx pages). But once the WPF application is launched (and is in the foreground on the aspx page) the dropdown menus that are on top of the WPF app is shown below the WPF application. The drop downs are in a <div> and we tried to put the ZINDEX value. But could not get any positive reply. Can somebody help?

    Hi All, Big picture: I want to render an RGB image via GTK on a linux box. I'm a frustrated GTK newbie, so please forgive me. I assume that I should create a Drawable_area in which to render the image -- correct? Do I then have to create a graphics context attached to that area? How? my simple app (which doesn't even address the rgb issue yet is this: int main(int argc, char** argv) { GdkGC * gc = NULL; GtkWidget * window = NULL; GtkDrawingArea * dpage = NULL; GtkWidget * page = NULL; gtk_init( &argc, & argv ); window = gtk_window_new( GTK_WINDOW_TOPLEVEL ); page = gtk_drawing_area_new( ); dpage = GTK_DRAWING_AREA( page ); gtk_widget_set_size_request( page, PAGE_WIDTH, PAGE_HEIGHT ); gc = gdk_gc_new( GTK_DRAWABLE( dpage ) ); gtk_widget_show( window ); gtk_main(); return (EXIT_SUCCESS); } my dpage is apparently not a 'drawable' (though it is a drawing area).   • how do I get all checkbox variables even if not checked from HTML to PHP?

    I noticed that PHP seems to return only values of checked checkboxes. I would like to see a list of checkboxes, not just values of checked checkboxes. Is there a way to detect variables of unchecked boxes? I asked because I want to be able to update settings. For example, I have a few options that are already checked but if an user decides to uncheck an option, I need to know that unchecked value so I can update the option to be disabled.

  • Given this demo, How do I make HTML content area fit to viewport height?

    I just made this demo extracting out what I'm trying to accomplish: Autosize Main Content Area I want the pink/yellow area to act according to these rules: Minimum height is the size of its content (which is variable) IF content size is smaller than viewport size Otherwise minimum height is such that it adjusts to fill the window. Checking out the source to that demo, what am I missing? I feel like this is a pretty easy case that shouldn't require javascript. Any ideas?

    Hi All, I am developing a web-app where I want to provide a download link to users - so they can download a zip file from my server. Now, my requirement is that I want to execute some processing logic contained in a servlet before displaying the file dialog to the user for 'zip' files. So If I write <a href="abc.zip".......> then it opens a file dialog asking the user to select the location where this file can be saved But if I want a servlet's doGet method to do some preprocessing - say like building the zip file , then how can I first call the servlet and then open the file dialog. Will the following snippet work? <a href="MyHandlerServlet;abc.zip".......> Thanks for your help !!

  • Best Practice: Access form elements by HTML id or name attribute?

    As any seasoned JavaScript developer knows, there are many (too many) ways to do the same thing. For example, say you have a text field as follows: <form name="myForm"> <input type="text" name="foo" id="foo" /> There are many way to access this in JavaScript: [1] document.forms[0].elements[0]; [2] document.myForm.foo; [3] document.getElementById('foo'); [4] document.getElementById('myForm').foo; ... and so on ... Methods [1] and [3] are well documented in the Mozilla Gecko documentation, but neither are ideal. [1] is just too general to be useful and [3] requires both an id and a name (assuming you will be posting the data to a server side language). Ideally, it would be best to have only an id attribute or a name attribute (having both is somewhat redundant, especially if the id isn't necessary for any css, and increases the likelihood of typos, etc). [2] seems to be the most intuitive and it seems to be widely used, but I haven't seen it referenced in the Gecko documentation and I'm worried about both forwards compatibility and cross browser compatiblity (and of course I want to be as standards compliant as possible). So what's best practice here? Can anyone point to something in the DOM documentation or W3C specification that could resolve this? Note I am specifically interested in a non-library solution (jQuery/Prototype).

  • Android: chronometer widget and layout() method could not work well at the same time

    I write a test android app, in which there are only two views, a chronometer and a imageview. Using the layout() method of the imageview to dynamically change the position of it, I wish to implement drag-and-drop effect. It does work. However, each time the chronometer ticks, the imageview is always reverted to its original position, which seems that the whole screen is reloaded from the layout xml. So, does anybody know how to prevent the imageview from reverting to the original place, and let chronometer and drag-and-drop effect coexist? Thx

    I have a check box and a text box. I have used struts tags and Now i need to validate that if the check box is checked, i should gray out (disable) the text box. If it is unchecked the text box shold take phone numbers. Whatever i tried i get an empty image area (browser-no-image icon) in the email i receive. I also have checked "Allow restricted operations" in my agent. I would prefer it if there is a solution to use an image from my resources and not an external link. Any solutions?
