  I seem to have two options on how to implement arrays, and I want to know which I should go with: Use the ARRAY data type and (from what I understand) effectively serialize data objects into the database (which in my case are just wrapped primitive types; don't know of another way to make this work). Use a separate table and map with foreign keys for each array item. If you have experience with this (especially with H2), which would you recommend?

Well come to find out that I get all sorts of strange errors due to duplicate identity values(which are set as primary keys) upon doing an insert in any of the tables. I have quite a few tables. What would be the easiest way of automatically reseeding the identity of every table so that it is after max(RID)?

• Is learning ed worth it to boost my speed in VIM?

  I've learned the basic/intermediate levels of VIM ( it's to vast to list ). I often find that I slip back to my old ways and start using the mouse, holding down keys to get somewhere, and doing other stupid things that could be spead up. Would it be worth spending time to learn ed to break the habits learned from years in Windoze? Does using ed cultivate the right type of thinking that will transfer to VIM???

• Can I change an NSDictionaries key?

  I have an NSDictionary object that is populated by NSMutableStrings for its keys and objects. I have been able to change the key by changing the original NSMutableString with the setString: method. They key however remains the same regardless of the contents of the string used to set the key initially. My question is, is the key protected from being changed meaning it will always be the same unless I remove it and add another to the dictionary? Thanks.

  I'm using jQuery UI's slider to update a div containing a number. Dragging or using the left/right keys should only allow the user to choose a number between 1 and 5 (this works as intended). However, if the handle has focus and I use page up/down, I start to get rounded values that are well out of the range of 1-5. Anybody experience the same? Thoughts?

  I have a three column Table View populated by two NSMutableDictionaries which share the same keys (ie key | value1 | value2 ) with dict1(key,value1) and dict2(key,value2). I want to manually enter data in the third column and create the key/value objects in dict2.   Hi, With the following entity relationship structure I'm struggling to figure out if the relationship between the LOAN and ITEM is valid? The weak entity of Loan uses a partial key of 'loan_dateLeant' and the primary keys from CUSTOMER and ITEM to form its primary key. However LOAN has a 'one to many' relationship with ITEM as a loan can consist of more than one item. But surely this means that if more than one item is loaned, then the loan record will have two item_id values for part of its primary key?

• Can I use anything other than BIGINT as Primary Key data type in SQLite?

  I was psyched about the possibility of using SQLite as a database solution during development so that I could focus on writing the code first and dynamically generating the db at runtime using NHibernate's ShemaExport functionality. However, I'm running into a few issues, not the least of which is that it seems that SQLite requires me to use Int64 for my primary keys (vs, say, Int32 or Guid). Is there any way around this?
