  • Yeoman 'grunt test' fails on clean project with 'port already in use'

    With: Mac OS 10.8.4 Node 0.10.12 npm 1.3.1 grunt-cli 0.1.9 yo 1.0.0-rc.1 bower 0.9.2 [email protected] I encounter the following error with a clean yo angular project, followed by grunt server then grunt test: Running "connect:test" (connect) task Fatal error: Port 9000 is already in use by another process. I'm new to Yeoman and am stumped. I've deleted my original project and created a new one in a fresh folder just to make sure I wasn't overlooking any invisible configs. I restarted the machine to make sure I wasn't running any temporary server processes I had forgotten about. After all attempts, the basic server starts fine, attaches to Chrome, and the watcher updates the browser on any changes. (Notably, the server is running on 9000, which seems odd for the test-runner to also be trying to use 9000.) But I get that same error on attempting to start the test runner. Is this something I can fix, or an issue I should report to the Yeoman team? Thanks.

You type a password and if this password exists - you are logged in and if it's not - username is generated and password is encrypted. I'm having some misunderstandings and hope someone would help me to show where I'm mistaken. So I'm confident about the idea and I only need a help with understanding and realization.

  • Change cursor style in firefox input file tag

    I have been trying to change the cursor style to look like a pointer rather than an I beam thing, but it looks like FF does not respect the cursor spec in an input file field. For example, I have made this small fiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/jDZtn/4/ where Id like the cursor to look like a pointer rather than an Ibeam when the user hovers over it. My end plan is to introduce opacity==0 and use a clickable button over it. I am not sure if this behaviour is a bug or not.

    I am having difficulties with trying to load a user by their id, for some reason my http.get call isn't hitting my controller. I get the following error in the browser console: TypeError: undefined is not a function at new <anonymous> (http://localhost:9000/scripts/controllers/users.js:10:8) Update I've fixed my code up as per comments below, but now my code just enters an infinite loop in the angular users controllers (see code below).     I am using navgoco.js and angular js in an application and I have following html <div id="demo"> <ul > <li ng-repeat ... > <a href="#"> ... </a> ...... </li> </ul> </div> js code $j("#demo1").navgoco({accordion: false}); It is supposed to do some expand-collapse of menus. the problem is that navgoco events are not performing on clicking on anchor. It simply adds # to url. In the rendered html of anchor tag, anuglar is adding ng-binding that may be the problem. Please help.

When one fails the it's my understanding that the second function will be called and the error variable given details. However can someone help explain to me what happens if some of the responses work and others fail?

    Here is a very simple example of what I am trying to do Athlete.save(athlete,function(result) { $scope.athlete = result.athlete; }); The issue is that the $scope.athlete variable does not update in my view. In order to get it to update I have to do this Athlete.save(athlete,function(result) { $scope.athlete.fname = result.athlete.fname; $scope.athlete.lname= result.athlete.lname; $scope.athlete.gender= result.athlete.gender; .... }); This gets annoying very quickly. With the first block of code it's as if angular does not know that my $scope.athlete variable has been updated.   • Javascript click function for multiple Classes

    So basically I have this little social networking site which allow comments. I've built a comment section that will slide down once a user clicks "Comment" and it slides down under the users status. My problem is that right now, the JavaScript only works on ONE post ID, and not the rest obviously seeing you can only use an ID once. But of course if I use classes instead, All the comment sections slide down because now they're all the same class. See below for my HTML and JavaScript.     Hi, I've upgraded PHP on my local dev system to version 5.3.0, and there is some problem when I use constants in application.ini - following manual http://framework.zend.com/manual/en/learning.quickstart.create-project.html I have: bootstrap.path = APPLICATION_PATH "/Bootstrap.php" which leads to: Warning: require_once(APPLICATION_PATH/Bootstrap.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in Zend\Application.php on line 320 any ideas? SOLVED: Actually name of my constant was _DIR_APPLICATION (code above was copied from ZF manual) - problem lies in this underscore at the begining - it seems that parse_ini_file() in PHP 5.3.0 doesn't replace constants named like this. Short test - you need two files: test.ini bootstrap.path = _DIR_APPLICATION "/Bootstrap.php" bootstrap.class = "Bootstrap" and test.php <?php define('_DIR_APPLICATION', 'test'); $data = parse_ini_file('test.ini'); print_r($data); try to run, then change constant name to 'DIR_APPLICATION' (in both files) and compare result ;)

  • Getting a "No default module defined for this application" exception while running controller unit t

    I have an application with the default directory structure, for an application without custom modules (see structure figure at the end). I have written a ControllerTestCase.php file as instructed in many tutorials, and I've created the appropriate bootstrap file as well (once again, see figures at the end). I've written some model tests which run just fine, but when I started writing the index controller test file, with only one test in it, with only one line in it ("$this-dispatch('/');"), I'm getting the following exception when running phpunit (but navigating with the browser to the same location - all is good and working): 1) IndexControllerTest::test_indexAction_noParams Zend_Controller_Exception: No default module defined for this application Why is this ? What have I done wrong ?   • Juju Zookeeper & Provisioning Agent Not Deployed

    I am using juju with the openstack provider, i expected that when i bootstrap that zookeeper and provisioning agent would get deployed on the bootstrap vm in openstack. This dose not seem to be the case. the bootstrap vm gets deployed but it seems that nothing gets deployed to the VM. See logs below, I may be missing something, also how is it possible to log on the bootstrap vm. Could I manual deploy, if so what do I need to do.
