    i have to make the colorpiker tool of flex, to be a customized one, i beleive you have seen the color picker tool of flex, when you click on the colorpicker, a swatch panel gets open, right?? now in that swatch, there are three compoenents, one is thw colorbox(on top left), beside right to this is the text field holding the hex code of the color and below these two tools, is the colors present in the small rectangles, now my need is this, i want to add three more buttons on the top empty space after textfield, so that structure of the colors pciker looks like this colorbox | textfield | button1 | button2 | button3 color rectangles, showing all default colors i beleive u understood, what i meant here, so plzz help me out in making a custom colorpciker class, thanx Namaste

  • HighCharts : Can I customize the colors of individual series?

    I am using HighCharts for a line graph and i am attemping to change the line color for each series. I did find this example here but the data is hard coded.     Our team is still in a love / hate relationship with it. I am hoping to put an end to the debate by having an internal vote on what rules should be excluded and which rules should be added. Before doing so, I wanted to ask others SO users. To standardize (but not limit) the responses: What is your current StyleCop version? What .Net version do you currently target? Which default rules did you turn off? Which non-default rules have you turned on? Have you coded your own rules? Please describe. Do you have any other StyleCop tricks worth sharing? Do you use Resharper? What version? Is it a good bang for the buck? Do you use any other tools for .Net / C++ which integrate with Visual Studio and aid development? Did you get your money's worth?     I am storing dates as an integer field in the format YYYYMMDD, where month or day is optional. I have the following function for formatting the number: def flexibledateformat(value): import datetime, re try: value = str(int(value)) except: return None match = re.match(r'(\d{4})(\d\d)(\d\d)$',str(value)) if match: year_val, month_val, day_val = [int(v) for v in match.groups()] if day_val: return datetime.datetime.strftime(datetime.date(year_val,month_val,day_val),'%b %e, %Y') elif month_val: return datetime.datetime.strftime(datetime.date(year_val,month_val,1),'%B %Y') else: return str(year_val) Which results in the following outputs: >>> flexibledateformat(20100415) 'Apr 15, 2010' >>> flexibledateformat(20100400) 'April 2010' >>> flexibledateformat(20100000) '2010' So I'm wondering if there's a function I can add under the model field class that would automatically call flexibledateformat. So if there's a record r = DataRecord(name='foo',date=20100400) when processed in the form the value would be 20100400 but when output in a template using {{ r.date }} it shows up as "April 2010". Further clarification I do normally use datetime for storing date/time values. In this specific case, I need to record non-specific dates: "x happened in 2009", "y happened sometime in June 1996". The easiest way to do this while still preserving most of the functionality of a date field, including sorting and filtering, is by using an integer in the format of yyyymmdd. That is why I am using an IntegerField instead of a DateTimeField. This is what I would like to happen: I store what I call a "Flexible Date" in a FlexibleDateField as an integer with the format yyyymmdd. I render a form that includes a FlexibleDateField, and the value remains an integer so that functions necessary for validating it and rendering it in widgets work correctly. I call it in a template, as in {{ object.flexibledate }} and it is formatted according to the flexibledateformat rules: 20100416 - April 16, 2010; 20100400 - April 2010; 20100000 - 2010. This also applies when I'm not calling it directly, such as when it's used as a header in admin (http://example.org/admin/app_name/model_name/). I'm not aware if these specific things are possible.

  • How do I customize what a third party MSM does?

    I'm trying to convert a project in Visual Studio 2008 from static linking of the CRT to dynamic linking. This was easy enough, and I added the CRT MSM and policy MSM to my Wix file with no problems. I am not that happy with the MSI that is output though, it is much larger than what I expected. Looking at the MSI with Orca shows three copies of the CRT DLLs that I need. From looking at the conditions, one of the sets is used for pre-XP installs. Since the system requirements are XP and later, how do I remove this component without touching the original MSM? This needs to be done in an automated build, so Orca isn't a possible solution. Plus, when I tried it with Orca, the filesize remained the same after deleting the File and Component rows. And somewhat related, how do I set the permanent attribute in the components that remain?

    I want to show my custom UIView(.Xib View) to appear when user tabbed on pins (not apple's callOutBubble) and in that UIView there should be a button which fires an IBAction on touched down event. Therefore i have added an AddObserver method to MKAnnotationView. which responds to touch events over pin in MKMapView. But i have also added 3 buttons over that XIB view, which have also assined IBActions. But when i run application, Buttons in Customized Annotation view are not responding to IBAction (Touch Down)? Why this happens ?? What is the solution for that??? I need to have called some method, when those 3 buttons tabbed. Thanks

    In emacs cperl-mode, ternary operators are not treated specially. If you break them over multiple lines, cperl-mode simply indents each line the same way it indents any continued statement, like this: $result = ($foo == $bar) ? 'result1' : ($foo == $baz) ? 'result2' : ($foo == $qux) ? 'result3' : ($foo == $quux) ? 'result4' : fail_result; This is not very readable. Is there some way that I can convince cperl-mode indent like this? $result = ($foo == $bar) ? 'result1' : ($foo == $baz) ? 'result2' : ($foo == $qux) ? 'result3' : ($foo == $quux) ?     I found a guide on how to add new attributes to users, it explains that for this operation I must modify some files in the app / code / core / Mage directory (the directory that contains Magento’s modules). But if i make some changes in that folder will this affect future upgrades? Will an upgrade will delete my changes? Should I limit the changes only to my modules to not have problems with updates?

    I have a Draggable in Script.aculo.us. I'd like to use ghosting, which clones the dragged element, so you appear to be dragging a "ghost" of the element. However, this element contains an iframe. When I begin the drag, the clone's iframe loads, which is annoying. I'd like a chance to remove the iframe from the clone. How can I do that? (Just to complicate matters: the original and the clone appear to have the same id, so I'm not sure how I'd even tell them apart without checking their styling, which seems overly hackish.)

    i want to print a invoice and i use a print.css by media=print and when i change the current stylesheet to print.css i could able to view what i should be printing without the titles and content left aligned. But still while i'm printing there is space in the top and left and its taking up whole a4 sheet and also the whole width of the page.. But i've defined a body width of just 550 px. While i view to print preview, it takes the whole width instead of taking up 1/3 of the width.. My print.css is body { width:550px; height:450px; color:#000000; margin:0; padding:0; word-spacing:1.1pt; font-family : "Times New Roman", Times, serif; font-size : 10px; text-align:left; } a { visibility :hidden; display : none; } input{ display : none; } table { margin: 1px; text-align:left; } #list,#head,#cont,#fotter,#oth,#links,#name,li,ul,ol { display : none; } I'm printing through browser using window.print, so is there any special configuration i need to do...?

    I'm working on a search functionality for my website and I'm using Bootstrap's typeahead to show the results. So far so good. But what I want is to extend the function so that I could add an image and some other item, say description, etc. According to this post, that is possible: custom typeahead. Basically I need something like this as each result item: <div class="resultContainer"> <div class="resultImage"><img /></div> <div class="resultDesc"></div> <div class="resultLabel"></div> </div> Now it's: <li><a href="#"></a></li> And this doesn't even work with a longer text than the width of the typeahead. So the text doesn't go to the next line and hence doesn't fit the <li>. How can I use the the custom layout I want? (btw I have an array of arrays of results.     when selecting a packet and choosing to follow the stream, wireshark automatically sets a filter that looks something like this: (ip.addr eq 10.2.3.8 and ip.addr eq 10.2.255.255) and (udp.port eq 999 and udp.port eq 899). i'd like to be able to set that myself when following the stream, but have not been able to identify where to do that. setting the display filter has no effect. in fact, after following the stream, whatever display filter is currently set will be replaced by the follow stream formatted filter. is customizing the follow stream filter even possible? thanks

If this can only be done by writing a custom QStyledItemDelegate that's totally fine, I want to rule out whether this is the correct approach or whether it's best to look at setLayout or similar, example code would help.     I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with the way Windows 7 handles showing a hidden taskbar. It's incredibly over-eager to pop out and obscure what I'm really trying to interact with, requiring me to move the mouse away, wait for it to auto-hide again, then resume what I was doing but more deliberately. After closely examining the behavior, it appears that a hidden taskbar "peeks out" from the edge by 2 or 3 pixels, and slowly moving your mouse into this area activates it; you don't even need to touch the edge of the screen. I would love it if there was a way to customize or change this behavior. Ideally, the taskbar would only pop out if you are actively "pushing" the edge of the screen it is hidden on. So activation only occurs once you've reached the screens edge and continue to move the mouse past a customizable threshold. Alternatively, a simple activation delay would suffice as well. So only if the mouse remains in that 2-3 pixel area (a.k.a. on the taskbar) for greater than a customizable amount of time does it pop out again. This would only be a fraction of a second. Often times the cursor simply "careens" off the edge of the screen while trying to focus on something nearby. Anyway, if there are any registry settings or utilities that can achieve either of these effects, that would be great! Thanks for your help.
