  • cPanel SSL installation

    I've tried transferring SSL issued by GoDaddy to Linux based server. The website was originally hosted in Windows. After the installation is completed, I got a message like this in cPanel: Certificate ID: *********** Domains: xxxxsomethingxxxxx.com Issuer: GoDaddy.com, Inc. Key Size: 2,048 bits Expiration: Feb 10, 2015 10:05:10 PM Does that look fine? Does the Issuer still remain as GoDaddy? Now how do I test to see if this is in fact working? After installing the SSL in the Linux server, do I now need to do something in GoDaddy or in the previous Windows server to indicate that the SSL has now been transferred to the new server?

  • What is the best HTML specification to be used as of Q1 2011?

    While developing a web application, what is the best spec to use? HTML4.01 HTML5 XHTML trans XHTML1.1 I was taught to use XHTML1.0 strict in uni and to avoid applet/iframe/tables(except in forms). I noticed that some deprecated tags are available in HTML5. Is it safe to code in HTML5? If so should I use target='', and the aforementioned tags? I have noticed that there are many alternatives to choose from including canvas, object. I have no preference, although Iframe tags are being dispensed from sources like Facebook/Google/etc. What would be the best avenue to take for Spec as of now(Feb 2011)?

  • Use hotplug and turn on/off PCI device for replacing NIC

    How can I turn off the PCI slots and change the device (especially NIC) without shutting the server down? I found a similar question (How do I turn off PCI devices?) but there are no /sys/bus/pci/slot and no files in /sys/bus/pci/slots. But at some point I upgraded my kernel version (not sure what uname -a prints but it's related) and it stopped working. Here's what uname -a prints: Linux ubuntu 2.6.32-29-generic 58-Ubuntu SMP Fri Feb 11 20:52:10 UTC 2011 x86_64 GNU/Linux I figured out that maybe it's installed per version so I used svn update and hit make again. My guess was right as it copied the relevant files to the new version's folder. I restarted and still nothing. Should I revert to an older version? Or is there a solution here?

    I'm developing an application which will list members who have not paid their any previous month's fee and a separate list for those who have paid the fee. So, lets say a member who will be paying fee through out the year, each month and if he didn't pay fee for march 2013 then app should highlight him as un-paid member. What would be best practice to achieve it. Adding fee invoices for whole year already in database when member is added then loop through his payments to check if fee is paid or not, or add a validation date for member on his each payment, for example payment made in Feb 2013 then member is valid till 28.02.2013. Check if date today is 28.02.2013 then he has not paid..

  • My site will not process Credit Cards [closed]

    Authorized.net was processing my credit card purchases until the end of Feb. As of 3/1/2011 they no longer will process electronic cigarette transactions. Processing network told us we would have a seamless transition over to a processor called EPN. Now we can not process and credit card orders at all. I have been told it's an SSL concern (EPN says no) I have been told it's an issue between Authorized.net and EPN again I am told no. Might site worked and functioned fine until the "seamless" transition took place. Please help me out here. Thanks Dave

  • HighCharts : Adding Hyperlinks to the X-Axis of the chart

    I have been using HighCharts in my PHP website by migrating it from older charts and I am very impressed by the number of graph options and functions with this library. However I am not able provide hyperlinks to the values of the x-axis(or y-axis) in order to navigate to another URI.     I have the following table which is basically the summary of daily transactions and is loaded nightly. +++++++++++++++++++++++ + DateCreated + Sale + +++++++++++++++++++++++ + 20100101 + 1000 + + 20100131 + 2000 + + 20100210 + 2000 + + 20100331 + 4000 + +++++++++++++++++++++++ I need to display the sale by month, but only for the last day in each month. eg JAN 2000 FEB 0 MAR 4000 I could probably accomplish this with CASE in my select, but is this efficient?     Hi All, I have a listbox whose values are generated dynamically. The list box contains months and years and when generated looks like this. <select name="arr_dtm_mon_year" tabindex="150" class="input"> <option value=""></option> <option value="NOV 09">Nov 09</option> <option value="DEC 09">Dec 09</option> <option value="JAN 10">Jan 10</option> <option value="FEB 10">Feb 10</option> <option value="MAR 10">Mar 10</option> <option value="APR 10">Apr 10</option> <option value="MAY 10">May 10</option> <option value="JUN 10" selected>Jun 10</option> <option value="JUL 10">Jul 10</option> <option value="AUG 10">Aug 10</option> <option value="SEP 10">Sep 10</option> <option value="OCT 10">Oct 10</option> </select> The element in the listbox that is by default selected is the current month. When i use selenium IDE to select from this listbox it works fine. Here are example commands i use to select from the listbox. <tr> <td>select</td> <td>arr_dtm_mon_year</td> <td>label=Oct 10</td> </tr> <tr> <td>select</td> <td>arr_dtm_mon_year</td> <td>label=May 10</td> </tr> Now the problem i have is the values in the listbox is dynamically generated. In the above example i selected the option for "May 10". The values that are generated is a list of all previous six months and a list of all future six months. This basically means that if i rerun the test 6 months from now "May 10" will not be available from the list. Is it possible to select the value dynamically. For example can i first calculate the current month and select the value with that is current month + 1 (i.e. next month). And also how can i build the value to be selected after i have determined what the next month is. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
