JSP:Include not rendering the page correctly

am having trouble with including a jsp page with tag. This is what is happening. I making changes to a portlet application running on Websphere 7 server. This is the hierarchy of the jsp pages. blankPage.jsp --bookingViewTabs.jsp -- availableRooms.jsp meaning blankPage is included in bookingViewTabs which is inturn included in availableRooms.jsp I have 2 problems with this. (1). The blankPage.jsp does not render correctly on the screen. It gets cutoff (2). The other is in blankPage.jsp there is a form called "guestProfileSearchResultsFormId". this form has several hidden fields for data. example, "guestId" which is a child of that form and can be accessed formname.fieldname, but when i include that page into another jsp as the first include(there are several includes on the page) under the another form tag, the form field is not being rendered as a child of the form, but as a sibling of the form. If i change the order and include some other page and include this, it is working as it is supposed to have. meaning with children intact. I don't understand this behavior. I HAVE ATTACHED A GIF IMAGE OF WHAT I SEE ON THE BROWSER Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Having py2exe include my data files (like include_package_data)

I have a Python app which includes non-Python data files in some of its subpackages. I've been using the include_package_data option in my setup.py to include all these files automatically when making distributions. It works well. Now I'm starting to use py2exe. I expected it to see that I have include_package_data=True and to include all the files. But it doesn't. It puts only my Python files in the library.zip, so my app doesn't work. How do I make py2exe include my data files?

The problem is I am trying to include one example.html (common html file) in the next child template by using include but it doesnt work properly. How do I set scons system include path

Using scons I can easily set my include paths: env.Append( CPPPATH=['foo'] ) This passes the flag -Ifoo to gcc However I'm trying to compile with a lot of warnings enabled. In particular with env.Append( CPPFLAGS=['-Werror', '-Wall', '-Wextra'] ) which dies horribly on certain boost includes ... I can fix this by adding the boost includes to the system include path rather than the include path as gcc treats system includes differently. So what I need to get passed to gcc instead of -Ifoo is -isystem foo I guess I could do this with the CPPFLAGS variable, but was wondering if there was a better solution built into scons.

Hi, I don't know how to perform this query using Linq and the EF. Imagine I have three tables A, B and C. A and B have a many-to-many relationship. B and C have a 1-to-many relationship. I want to obtain records from B including C but filtering from A's Id. I can get easily the records from B: var b = Context.A.Where(x => x.Id.Equals(aId)).SelectMany(x => x.B); but when I try to include C I don't know how to do it: //This doesn't work var b = Context.A.Where(x => x.Id.Equals(aId)).SelectMany(x => x.B.Include("C")); Also I've tried this with no luck (it is equivalent to the above): //Not working var b = (from a in Context.A.Where(x => x.Id.Equals(aId)) from b in a.B.Include("C") select b); Thanks for your help.

Include static file in JSP with variable filename on WebSphere 6

I'm struggling with including a static file into my JSPs on Websphere 6.0.2.17. I tried this: <% final String MY_DIR = ResourceBundle.getBundle("mybundle").getString("props.pages.wcm"); %> <% final String page = ResourceBundle.getBundle("mybundle").getString("page"); %> <% final String inc = MY_DIR + "/" + bonus; %> <%@include file="<%= inc %>"%> The path is /wcm/some/other/dir/page and I can happily print that out with out.write(inc). Unfortunatly the include (and the jsp:include) isn't including the file at all. There is no error message, but the content isn't included... The file is accessible via the browser though. Do I have to create a full JSP for this to work? I just need a HTML file.

What does ruby include when it encounters the "include module" statement?

If I have the following project structure project/ lib/ subproject/ a.rb b.rb lib.rb where lib.rb looks like this :- module subproject def foo do_some_stuff end end and a.rb and b.rb both need to mixin some methods within lib.rb and are both namespaced within a module like so :- require 'subproject/lib' module subproject class A include Subproject def initialize() foo() end end end What does ruby do when it encounters the include statement? How does it know that I want to only include the mixin from lib.rb rather than the whole module which includes both class A and class B, is this based purely on the require of subproject/lib or am I getting it wrong and it is including the whole of the module, including the definitions of Class A and B within themselves?

Include everything, Separate with "using"

I'm developing a C++ library. It got me thinking of the ways Java and C# handle including different components of the libraries. For example, Java uses "import" to allow use of classes from other packages, while C# simply uses "using" to import entire modules. My questions is, would it be a good idea to #include everything in the library in one massive include and then just use the using directive to import specific classes and modules? Or would this just be down right crazy? EDIT: Good responses so far, here are a few mitigating factors which I feel add to this idea: 1) Internal #includes are kept as normal (short and to the point) 2) The file which includes everything is optionally supplied with the library to those who wish to use it3) You could optionally make the big include file part of the pre-compiled header

Regex pattern for searches with include and exclude

I am working on a Regex pattern for searches that should allow optional '+' sign to include in the search and '-' sign to exclude from the search. For example: +apple orange -peach should search for apples and oranges and not for peaches. Also the pattern should allow for phrases in double quotes mixed with single words, for example: "red apple" -"black grape" +orange - you get the idea, same as most of the internet searches. So I am running 2 regular expressions, first to pick all the negatives, which is simple because '-' is required: (?<=[\-]"?)((?<=")(?<exclude>[^"]+)|(?<exclude>[^\s,\+\-"]+)) And second to pick positives, and it is a little more complex because '+' is optional: ((?<=[\+\s]")(?<include>[^\s"\+\-][^"]+))|(?<include>(?<![\-\w]"?)([\w][^,\s\-\+]+))(?<!") Positive search is where I am having a problem, it works fine when I run it in RegexBuddy but when I try in .Net the pattern picks up second word from negative criteria, for example in -"black grape" it picks up word 'grape' even though it ends with double quote. Any suggestions?

Include Files using Wildcard into a folder in Visual Studio

I am using <ItemGroup> <EmbeddedResource Include="..\..\resources\hbm\*.hbm.xml" /> </ItemGroup> to include a bunch of xml files into my C# project. Works fine. But, I don't want them in the "root level" of my project, I would rather see them in a subfolder in my project. For example, this file is included into a Mapping folder in Visual Studio: <ItemGroup> <EmbeddedResource Include="Mapping\User.hbm.xml" /> </ItemGroup> That's what I want for my *.hbm.xml files. I can't figure out how to do it and still keep my wildcard *.hbm.xml part and also keep the actual files in a different directory. I've looked at MSDN's doc on MSBUILD and items, but no luck.

", true], :include => :post) This does not work as joins does an inner join, and include does a left out join. The database throws an error as both joins can't be there in same query.

I'll explain what i'm looking for in code as thats probably the most succinct: module Mixin def method puts "Foo" end end class Whatever include Mixin end w = Whatever.new w.method => "Foo" # some magic here w2 = Whatever.new w.method => NoMethodError I had tried just undefining the Mixin module using remove_const, but this doesn't seem to make any difference to Whatever. I had assumed that #include just added a reference to the module into the class's method resolution chain - but this behaviour doesn't agree with that. Can anyone tell me what include actually does behind the scenes, and how to reverse this?

Hello I've been using enity framework that came with 3.5sp. And now I've redone things for enityframework 4 and asp.net mvc 2. I've come across something (which worked in my previous version and asp.net mvc 1.0). I have this: public IQueryable<Booking> GetBookings() { return from b in _entities.Bookings.Include("BookingObject") select b; } And in my controller I have: return View("Index", new BookingsViewModel { Bookings = _br.GetBookings().ByDay(DateTime.Today) }); And it doesnt seem to include the "BookingObject"-entity, so I can type like <%= Model.Bookings.BookingObject.BookingObjectName %> in my view. What might be missing here? Do I need to turn something on in the diagram for it to include entities or? /M

How to install matplotlib on OS X?

I want to install matplotlib on OS X. If possible, using homebrew. I installed Python 2.7.1 using brew install python, I modified my path to use it I installed pip using brew install pip I installed numpy 1.5.1 using pip install numpy I installed scipy 0.8.0 using pip install scipy This is where it gets hairy. pip install matplotlib will fetch the wrong version of matplotlib, which is incompatible with the recent version of numpy. The solution is to fetch the correct version of matplotlib manually: pip install -f http://sourceforge.net/projects/matplotlib/files/matplotlib/matplotlib-1.0.1/matplotlib-1.0.1.tar.gz matplotlib But, that version fails to compile since it can't find the freetype headers: In file included from src/ft2font.cpp:1: src/ft2font.h:14:22: error: ft2build.h: No such file or directory These headers are actually installed in /usr/X11/include as part of the X11 developer tools. So, how can I make matplotlib use these headers?

I'm trying to run through an example given for the C++ Xerces XML library implementation. I've copied the code exactly, but I'm having trouble compiling it. error: expected class-name before '{' token I've looked around for a solution, and I know that this error can be caused by circular includes or not defining a class before it is used, but as you can see from the code, I only have 2 files: MySAXHandler.hpp and MySAXHandler.cpp. However, the MySAXHandler class is derived from HandlerBase, which is included. PHP: how to access variables inside a function that have been declared outside of it?

Please, I am very new and have not been confronted with OOP and all this related stuff, which I guess may be related to this issue (public, private, ...). So, any help and suggestions are very appreciated! :) At the very beginning of each page I include a file that starts the SESSION etc, lets call it session.php. In this file session.php, I include a file that contains a function, let's call it function1.php, because I need the function to be available in session.php. However, later in the main page I also include function2.php which needs to access variables set in session.php, so I additionally tried to include session.php in function2.php. The problem is that an error occurs as function1 will be declared multiple times... Fatal error: Cannot redeclare function1() (previously declared in ... So, what would be a more elegant and clean(er) solution for this? How could you solve it? Basically, I'd need to access variables inside a function that have been included in the main page before... C++ socket protocol design issue (ring inclusion)

So I have these two classes, mpqs_client and client_protocol. The mpqs_client class handles a Boost socket connection to a server (sending and receiving messages with some specific format. Upon receiving a message, it calls a static method, parse_message(..), in the class client_protocol, and this method should analyse the message received and perform some corresponding action. Given some specific input, the parse_message method needs to send some data back to the server. As mentioned, this happens through the class mpqs_client. So I could, from mpqs_client, pass "this" to parse_message(..) in client_protocol. However, this leads to a two-way association relationship between the two classes. Something which I reckon is not desireable. Also, to implement this, I would need to include the other in each one, and this gives me a terrible pain. I am thinking this is more of a design issue. What is the best solution here? Code is posted below. RIA Services query: Nested "from" and include children

Hi guys, I have the following schema. What I'd like to do is to retrieve all customers (and children properties) from a selected StaffAssignment by StaffId. So I've written the following query: from c in ObjectContext.Customers.Include("Assignments.Activities") from a in c.Assignments from sa in a.StaffAssignments where sa.StaffId == staffId select c But children properties aren't loaded (I added the [Include] in service metadata file as well). However, if I run dog, I get no problems... I'm guessing its the path, but i've tried ./includes/cat.php to no joy...

XCode newb -- #include can't find my file

I'm trying to get a third party audio library (STK) working inside XCode. Along with the standard .h files, many of the implimentation files include a file called SKINI.msg. SKINI.msg is in the same directory as all of the header files. The header files are getting included fine, but the compiler complains that it can't find SKINI.msg. What do I need to do to get XCode to happily include SKINI.msg?
