  Hi!:) In my extension, when a button named "mybutton1" in the popup.html is clicked, it sends a message "getvar1" to the contentscript.js, then the contentscript.js sends a message "i want var1" to the background.html to get an object named "var1".If the button named "mybutton2" is clicked, the contentscript.js gets the "var2" object. How should i do under this condition? What's more, i am a little confused about the chrome.extension.onRequest.addListener method and chrome.extension.sendRequest method.Could someone tell me the mechanism of the two methods? Thanks!

• JQuery UI popup elements not positioning correctly

  I am using both JQuery UI Dialog and JQuery UI autocomplete both have the same erroneous behavior when they popup, the position is always 0,0! I have tried some different position arguments when popping up the dialog but non seems to help. Any clues? Is this a bug in the position calculation in JQuery? Or is this some css bug? Versions are 1.4.2 and 1.8.0

  I am trying to make a popup button that always displays a + as its image and when you click on it, a context menu pops up that will allow you to decide what type of object you want to add. Is there anyway to do this using an NSPopupButton? I saw in the specs for NSPopupButotn that the method SetImage has no effect so it seems that this is likely not going to work using this class. Is this correct?

  I am using Apache to authenticate users for Django, but I would like to do so without the popup form that Apache uses in its basic configuration. How do I embed the login form within a page while still using Apache for authentication? That is, I'd like a page that says "Please login" and provides a form asking for username and password, and passes this information on to Apache for authentication.   I'm just starting of to get Facebook connect to work. One thing that really bugs me, is that when I click the FB login button, it opens up a popup. I would much more prefer to have the user redirected to FB, where he can login and be sent back to my site.
