.htaccess rewrite issue with P

This is a followup for this question. When I used the proxy flag, I did not know all of its effects. Now I have two more problems, which need to be fixed! The main problem is with user IP addresses, everyone appears to use the server IP. I can't trust http-x-forwarded-for because it is easy to forge headers, and the REMOTE_ADDR just shows the server IP. I used the P flag because it acted as a mask, but Google loads everything with the actual URL. How can I use this subdomain rewrite without the P flag? It needs to be internal. Regex preg_match issue with commas

This is my code to pre_match when an amount looks like this: $ 99.00 and it works if (preg_match_all('/[$]\s\d+(\.\d+)?/', $tout, $matches)) { $tot2 = $matches[0]; $tot2 = preg_replace("/\\\$/", '', $tot2);} I need to do the same thing for a amount that looks like this (with a comma): $ 99,00 Thank you for your help (changing dot for comma do not help, there is an "escape" thing I do not understand... Idealy I need to preg_match any number that looks like an amount with dot or commas and with or without dollar sign before or after (I know, it's a lot to ask :) since on the result form I want to scan there are phone and street numbers... UPDATE (For some reason I cannot comment on replies) : To test properly, I need to preg_replace the comma by a dot (since we are dealings with sums, I don't think calculations can be done on numbers with commas in it). So to clarify my question, I should say : I need to transform, let's say "$ 200,24" to "200.24". (could be amounts bettween 0.10 to 1000.99) : $tot2 = preg_replace("/\\\$/", '', $tot2);} (this code just deals with the $ (it works), I need adaptation to deal also with the change of (,) for (.))

Select multiple submit issue - POST is empty if not selected

I have a multiple select as below. It allows me to select options as below. Assume that 3 sports are selected. When the items are select as shown above form submit is successful. But unfortunately if the sports are not selected like below when the form is submitted post is empty. Select box <select style="width: 100px; height: 80px;" class="input" id="selected_sport_list" name="selected_sport_list[]" multiple=""> <option value="2">sport 2</option> <option value="3">sport 3</option> <option value="5">sport test x</option></select> How can I make sure that when the form is submitted particular items are selected? Is it possible to use jquery to fix this ? or how? Thanks

Heap Algorithmic Issue

I am having this algorithmic problem that I want to discuss about. Its not about find a solution but about optimization in terms of runtime. So here it is: Suppose we have a race court of Length L and a total of N cars that participate on the race. The race rules are simple. Once a car overtakes an other car the second car is eliminated from the race. The race ends when no more overtakes are possible to happen. The tricky part is that the k'th car has a starting point x[k] and a velocity v[k]. The points are given in an ascending order, but the velocities may differ. What I've done so far: Given that a car can get overtaken only by its previous, I calculated the time that it takes for each car to reach its next one t = (x[i] - x[i+1])/(v[i] - v[i+1]) and I insert these times onto a min heap in O(n log n). So in theory I have to pop the first element in O(logn), find its previous, pop it as well , update its time and insert it in the heap once more, much like a priority queue. My main problem is how I can access specific points of a heap in O(log n) or faster in order to keep the complexity in O(n log n) levels. This program should be written on Haskell so I would like to keep things simple as far as possible EDIT: I Forgot to write the actual point of the race. Issue with post data not received in a php page

SQL UDF Group By Parameter Issue

I'm having some issues with a group by clause in SQL. I have the following basic function: CREATE FUNCTION dbo.fn_GetWinsYear (@Year int) RETURNS int AS BEGIN declare @W int select @W = count(1) from tblGames where WinLossForfeit = 'W' and datepart(yyyy,Date) = @Year return @W END I'm trying to run the following basic query: select dbo.fn_GetWinsYear(datepart(yyyy,date)) from tblGames group by datepart(yyyy,date) However, I'm encountering the following error message: Column 'tblGames.Date' is invalid in the select list because it is not contained in either an aggregate function or the GROUP BY clause. Any ideas why this is occurring? FYI, I know I can remove the function and combine into one call but I'd like to keep the function in place if possible.

curl multiple request session issue

I'm using curl multi API for multiple curl requests. first I'm using a single request to login to a site and save the cookie file. then I'm using the curl multi API to get some data from that site. The problem I'm facing is that from some reason the cookie file does not get read and I'm redirecting to the main login page. I must say that this work once in awhile so I can't point what went wrong. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

I have a connection problem using openssl 0.9.8j. When I try to connect with s_client to one specified server openssl said: 640:error:14094410:SSL routines:SSL3_READ_BYTES:sslv3 alert handshake failure:s3 _pkt.c:1060:SSL alert number 40 640:error:140790E5:SSL routines:SSL23_WRITE:ssl handshake failure:s23_lib.c:188 I tried option "no_ticket",I tried also "ssl2",all is useless. The problem occurs only when I try to connect to this server. Any ideas? Thanks!

Media Disconnected Networking Issue

After rearranging my physical network in my apartment my Windows Vista machine can no longer connect to the network. I have tested all of the cabling by connecting other devices and everything is fine. I'm able to connect using other computers, I've even tested a brand new ethernet adapter and the network status still reads "media disconnected". I have no idea where to go from here. My setup is as follows: Cable modem - router - hardwired ethernet cable to computer.

Javascript + IFrame + Chrome + Https = strange issue

Using a modal plugin for jquery, I'm opening an iframe in a modal with a click event and setting the source attribute to a relative url (should be within https). The page containing the click is an authenticated ssl page. In IE and Safari, this works as expected. In Chrome and Firefox, the source url is opened in http not https. If I set the source to an absolute url using https, same result. ActionScripting Issue: adding/removing children

I have three movie clips all linked to the stage and I want them to behave like a button/ But I am not using a button because I have not found a way to have each part (up, over, down, hit) be animated and not just change when the mouse is in use with it. So far I have been able to have all three appear on my stage and show when I have the mouse over and as well when I click, but I think I'm doing something wrong with removeChild. Each MC should appear one at a time and now all three show up when I hover over and seem to "flash". EF 4 Query - Issue with Multiple Parameters

Hello, A trick to avoiding filtering by nullable parameters in SQL was something like the following: select * from customers where (@CustomerName is null or CustomerName = @CustomerName) This worked well for me in LINQ to SQL: string customerName = "XYZ"; var results = (from c in ctx.Customers where (customerName == null || (customerName != null && c.CustomerName == customerName)) select c); But that above query, when in ADO.NET EF, doesn't work for me; it should filter by customer name because it exists, but it doesn't. Instead, it's querying all the customer records. Now, this is a simplified example, because I have many fields that I'm utilizing this kind of logic with. But it never actually filters, queries all the records, and causes a timeout exception. But the wierd thing is another query does something similarly, with no issues. Any ideas why? Seems like a bug to me, or is there a workaround for this? I've since switched to extension methods which works. Thanks.

Shell Prompt Line Wrapping Issue

I've done something to break my Bash Shell Prompt in OS X (10.5.7) Terminal. This is the PS1 that I had configured: PS1='\[\e[1;32m\]\h\[\e[0m\]:\[\e[1;34m\]\w\[\e[0m\]\$ ' As far as I can tell I have the color commands escaping correctly. However when I scroll up and down in my command history I often get line wrapping issues if the historic commands wrap onto multiple lines. I simplified my prompts to the following: PS1='\[\e[1m\]\h:\w\$ \[\e[0m\]' PS2='> ' And I still see something like: localhost:~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/knpmxpup.Defau lt/extensions/{1A2D0EC4-75F5-4c91-89C4-3656F6E44B68}$ expocd \{1A2D0EC4-7 5F5-4c91-89C4-3656F6E export PS1="\[ \e[1;32m\]\h\[\e[0m\]: cd Library/Appl ication\ Support/ I've also tried \033 instead of \e. I just included PS2 up there for information, I haven't changed that from the install default. If I completely remove the color codes then everything works fine, any ideas?

I am confused about how to use destructors when I have a std::vector of my class. So if I create a simple class as follows: class Test { private: int *big; public: Test () { big = new int[10000]; } ~Test () { delete [] big; } }; Then in my main function I do the following: Test tObj = Test(); vector<Test> tVec; tVec.push_back(tObj); I get a runtime crash in the destructor of Test when I go out of scope. WP_Insert_Post and GUID Issue [Wordpress]

Hello, I have a posting form at my theme. I used wp_insert_post there. My code looks like this $post = array( 'ID' => '', 'post_author' => $post_author, 'post_category' => $post_category, 'post_content' => $post_content, 'post_title' => $post_title, 'post_status' => 'publish', ); $post_id = wp_insert_post($post); $fullpost = get_post($post_id); wp_redirect($fullpost->guid); Everything works fine. But when it's inserted to the database, at the GUID field, the entry format is like this permalinks_structure/id. So if my permalinks_structure is like /category/id , it become like http://www.example.com/uncategorized/1. So the problem is, if i post through wordpress admin panel, GUID of the post is http://www.example.com?p=1 . So my post database GUID become mess, because if i want to change permalinks_structure , the post which becomes from outside form will follow the structure. What I want to do is, I want to get the GUID like that I posted through admin panel which is http://www.example.com?p=1 How can i do it ? Please point me out. Thank you.

I am having a problem changing a List that has a set-size in Java. I understand that I can't add or remove from this list but why can't I use set? When I use set the UnsupportedOperationException is thrown as well as when I use add and remove which is expected. set public Object set(int index, Object element) Replaces the element at the specified position in this list with the specified element (optional operation). I understand its an optional operation its just that want to replace that one element of the list with another element. Is there any way I can do this?
