  • How to find full/real email address from Lotus Notes?

    Is there any way to get the full set of email addresses? Example: I receive an email sent to a Lotus group 'all department employees'. I'd like to be able to grab the actual email addresses contained within (not their Lotus user name) so that I could email everyone from a client other than Lotus. Does such an option exist? I believe this was doable in Exchange with a right-click and 'expand nickname' type of action. I'm on a Mac.

    Here's what I need to setup...and I am not well versed in PHP/SQL...but this is what I'm trying to do. On the New User database, I will have a section where they can have information sent to their phone using the provider's default e-mail to text msg (i.e. [email protected].) New User: Input number: ______________(2225551212 format, no hyphens, etc.) Select Provider: (Drop-down menu with proper @provider.ext...) Then the formmail, when sent, if for specific user will get ($phone".@."$provider); or something like that and send a preset message like: $user."requested information on ".$product."on".$date." at ".$time."."; Is this possible? The $user, $product, $date, $time all are generated directly from the most recent input page for a database. Is this possible? Please help!

    Is there some command within Thunderbird or command line to will allow me to pipe a list of all email addresses I've received emails from to a file? I would like to do this for a specific email account and folder within Thunderbird as well, and not just all of my accounts. I have maybe 100 unique people who have sent me an email for some contest and it would be optimal not to have to type all of this stuff up by hand. Thanks!!!

    I know this is a subject that has been well covered here and throughout the web, so I am not asking for a list of carrier emails, however my question is how to send a text without knowing the users carrier and preferably without going through a third party. The only solution that I thought of would be send out to all carriers. I would only be sending to US carriers, however would a large number of failed emails slow the mail server at all or cause any other problems? Any advice on this solution or thoughts of others would be great.

    I have a web hosting account at HostGator (for a domain registered with GoDaddy), where I would like to only use email, and completely turn off the website/webserver (for that domain), such that it actually gives the following error like any other domain which isn't pointing to anything, so in Firefox it would be: Or in Chrome it would be: So I am not looking for just a blank page or server 403 error, but literally for it to act like it doesn't exist and the only way someone would know that the domain is in use, is if they WHOIS search it or know any of the email addresses on the main server. N.B. the domain is the parent domain in the HostGator account and other websites (which need to still be operational) are under it, but I'm thinking with DNS settings it can still be configured while keeping the one hosting account. How would I configure this?

A cell phone that you can check your email. You may be asking, why write code to send the email when a lot of commercial software motion detection packages include that as base functionality. Well, first it cost money and second I don’t want the picture of the person as that probably invades privacy and as a future buyer, I don’t want someone recording me in their house.     During a remote SharePoint training session this morning, Live Meeting presented one of our instructors with the following gem:  "An attendee email address is malformed".  This was particularly troubling since a wizard took care of adding all the entries, and they looked correct (even after being sifted through my character analysis tool).As it turns out, the addresses were indeed correct.  As sometimes happens, though, at the line breaks, it looked like there was no space between the semicolon and the following email address.  Since I'm a member in good standing of the "I wonder what this button does" school of thought, I added an extra space after each of these cramped little semicolons -- and the invitation executed flawlessly.Coincidence?  Maybe... but you can bet I'm going to keep trying dumb stuff like that when the error message doesn't make sense.  Think of it as the tech support equivalent of "Ask a silly question..."

    Using the following html, css,jquery, js, what would be the best approach to achieving this. A visitor hits the website. The website page is displaying html and a css3 animation. The visitor is given the option to enter text freely into a text box, they enter an email address and hit send. The person receiving the message gets an email with a link, when they click the link it takes them to the webpage with the animation and the custom message their friend entered.     hi, I created a page in Wordpress (http://www.exam-vision.com/testmail) that sends POST data to itself in order to send an email. The code is shown below. While it seems that data are sent properly, it seems that they are not received since isset($_REQUEST['email']) is always false. Anybody could help?   • Rails 2.3.4 and jquery form plugin works on development, not in production?

    Hello, i'm trying to build a contact form in Rails 2.3.4. I'm using the jQuery Form plugin along with this (http://bassistance.de/jquery-plugins/jquery-plugin-validation/) for validations. Everything works in my development environment (mac os x snow leopard), the loading gif appears and on my log the email gets sent and the "request completed" notice shows. But on my production machine the loading gif just keeps going and the form doesn't get sent. I've waited as long as I could, nothing. Here is my code: /public/javascripts/application.js // client-side validation and ajax submit contact form $('#contactForm').validate( { rules: { 'email[name]': { required: true }, 'email[address]': { required: true, email: true }, 'email[subject]': { required: true }, 'email[body]': { required: true } }, messages: { 'email[name]': "Please enter your name.", 'email[address]': "Please enter a valid email address.", 'email[subject]': "Please enter a subject.", 'email[body]': "Please enter a message." }, submitHandler: function(form) { $(form).ajaxSubmit({ dataType: 'script', beforeSend: function() { $(".loadMsg").show(); } }); return false; } }); I'm using the submitHandler to send the actual ajaxSubmit.     Example I received a email-list from my friends but the problem is some people typed an email in full form ([email protected]) and some people typed (xxx@xxx without .com). And i want to improve it into the same format. How can i improve it if i want to edit them on vi? In my emaillist.txt foo@gmail [email protected] bas@gmail [email protected] mike@abc john@email My try: i tried to use an easy regex like this to catch the pattern like xxx@xxx :%s/\(\w*@\w*\)/\0.com/g and :%s/\(\w*@\w*[^.com]\)/\0.com/g But the problem is this regex include [email protected] also And the result become like this after i enter the command above [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] So, My expectation after substitution is should be like this: [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] How to use regex in this situation?
