  • how to place social media links at the end of every TYPO3 content element?

    Thanks to Kasper Skårhøj and all TYPO3 developers for this great product and extensions. I am a TYPO3 user and want to build a scientific portal using TYPO3-YAML. I use the package tyaml_2.0.1_complete from if-20 Project. It includes TYPO3 4.7.4 + YAML and many extensions. Facebook like button, Twitter and G+ buttons have been integrated to News extension by Georg Ringer. What I need is; I want to place the same buttons (fblike, fbshare, twitter and G+) buttons at the end of every content element automatically. I am searching web for more than 2 weeks, and read many pages about it, but all of them are for the coders. I couldn't find a solution yet.I can apply them if all steps are written one by one, and clearly. For example; http://www.typo3tutorials.net/2012/06/typoscript-wrap-content-elemtents-with.html But my TYPO3 package uses fluid template and don't know how to apply it exactly. Please could you give me a link (in any language) explaining how to integrate these buttons to the end of "text" or "text with image" ce? Or can you write them step by step. Thanks much.

  • iPhone: change height of UITableViewCell coming from a NIB

    I have a UITableView of custom UITableViewCells which looks like this: [ CELL 0 [ description ] [ dynamic content type 1 ] [ dynamic content type 2 ] [ dynamic content type 3 ] ] [ CELL 1 [ description ] [ dynamic content type 1 ] [ dynamic content type 3 ] ] [ CELL 2 [ description ] [ dynamic content type 2 ] ] [ ... and so on ... ] Since the [description] part is already pretty complex I decided to use Interface Builder to design it and at add the [dynamic content] in the cellForRowAtIndexPath programmatically with [cell addSubview:...]. My problem is now, that I set a default height for my custom UITableViewCell in Interface Builder, but when I add my [dynamic content] (which might range between 0..3) I have different cells with different heights. One thing is of course to calculate the total height and change the return value in heightForRowAtIndexPath, but how do I change the height value of my actual cell (which was loaded from a nib file with a fixed height)?

  • Is it possible to write an IIS URL Rewrite Rule that examines content of HTTP Post?

    I need to split a portion of functionality away from a legacy ISAPI dll onto another solution (ASP.NET MVC most likely). IIS7's URL Rewrite sounded like a perfect candidate for the job, but it turns out I cannot find a way to configure the rules the way I need. I need to write a rule that examines the content of the HTTP post for a particular value. i.e. <form method="post" action="legacy_isapi.dll"> <input name="foo" /> </form> if (Request.Form["foo"] == "bar") Context.RewritePath("/some_other_url/on_the_same_machine/foo/bar"); As a proof of concept, I was able to create an IHttpModule that examines context.Request.Form collection and performs a rewrite when certain parameters are present. I installed this module in my website, and it works. Rather than a custom module, however, I'd rather extend the existing URL Rewrite module to support examining the content of the HTTP Post as one of its rules. Is this possible?

  • How can I validate/secure/authenticate a JavaScript-based POST request?

    A product I'm helping to develop will basically work like this: A Web publisher creates a new page on their site that includes a <script> from our server. When a visitor reaches that new page, that <script> gathers the text content of the page and sends it to our server via a POST request (cross-domain, using a <form> inside of an <iframe>). Our server processes the text content and returns a response (via JSONP) that includes an HTML fragment listing links to related content around the Web. This response is cached and served to subsequent visitors until we receive another POST request with text content from the same URL, at which point we regenerate a "fresh" response. These POSTs only happen when our cached TTL expires, at which point the server signifies that and prompts the <script> on the page to gather and POST the text content again. The problem is that this system seems inherently insecure. In theory, anyone could spoof the HTTP POST request (including the referer header, so we couldn't just check for that) that sends a page's content to our server. This could include any text content, which we would then use to generate the related content links for that page. The primary difficulty in making this secure is that our JavaScript is publicly visible. We can't use any kind of private key or other cryptic identifier or pattern because that won't be secret. Ideally, we need a method that somehow verifies that a POST request corresponding to a particular Web page is authentic. We can't just scrape the Web page and compare the content with what's been POSTed, since the purpose of having JavaScript submit the content is that it may be behind a login system. Any ideas? I hope I've explained the problem well enough. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

    I have the following SQL: SELECT * FROM [Database].dbo.[TagsPerItem] INNER JOIN [Database].dbo.[Tag] ON [Tag].Id = [TagsPerItem].TagId WHERE [Tag].Name IN ('home', 'car') and it returns: Id TagId ItemId ItemTable Id Name SiteId 1 1 1 Content 1 home 1 2 1 2 Content 1 home 1 3 1 3 Content 1 home 1 4 2 4 Content 2 car 1 5 2 5 Content 2 car 1 6 2 12 Content 2 car 1 instead of just two records, which these names are "home" and "car".   • EXT JS toLayout on Viewport doesnt show anything...

    After reading many example about adding new components in to existing container without reloading whole page I run in to small problem while combining tree and tabs inside Viewport component. What I'm trying to do is to register on click event to tree node and load in to content container new component, depending on node type it can be tabpanel, gridpanel or any other available component. here is short example of tree object: { xtype: 'treepanel', id: 'tree-panel', listeners: { click: function(n) { var content = Ext.getCmp('content-panel'); content.setTitle(n.attributes.qtip); //remove all components from content-panel content.removeAll(); content.add(dummy_tabs2); content.doLayout(); return; } }} All DOM manipulation went fine, everything registered properly, new Title shown, but dummy_tabs2 are not shown. I did try to set various properties for doLayout(true|false, true|false) but nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?

  • css: make background repeat-y with growing child content?

    I Have a three column layout. The center div is a container which holds all of my content. The outer columns is just a .png that fades into the body's background (left and right respectively). I want the .png to repeat-y to grow with the center container's content. It will only print the image once, and ignores the repeat-y. If I specify a height to the outside columns, it will print, but only to the specified height. I tried height: 100%, which does not work.   • jQuery AJAX Redirection problem

    Hello please consider this: On page A I have a link that takes you to page B when JS is off, but when JS is on, I want to replace content on current page with content from the page B. Pages A and B are in fact the same script that is able to tell AJAX calls from regular ones and serve the content appropriately. Everything works fine, as long as there are no redirects involved. But, sometimes there is a 301 redirect and what seems to be happening is that client browser then makes a second request, which will return with a 200 OK. Only the second request is sent without a X-Requested-With header, therefore I cannot tell within my script wether it came from AJAX or not, and will send a complete page instead of just the content. I have tried checking for 301 status code in my error, success, and complete handlers but none of them worked. It seems to be handling the 301 behind the scenes.     I have two tables: RatingsTable that contains a ratingname and a bit whether it is a positive or negative rating: Good 1 Bad 0 Fun 1 Boring 0 FeedbackTable that contains feedback on things...the person rating, the rating and the thing rated. The feedback can be determined if it's a positive or negative rating based on RatingsTable. Jim Chicken Good Jim Steak Bad Ted Waterskiing Fun Ted Hiking Fun Nancy Hiking Boring I am trying to write an efficient MySQL query for the following: On a page, I want to display the the top 'things' that have the highest proportional positive ratings. I want to be sure that the items from the feedback table are unique...meaning, that if Jim has rated Chicken Good 20 times...it should only be counted once. At some point I will want to require a minimum number of ratings (at least 10) to be counted for this page as well. I'll want to to do the same for highest proportional negative ratings, but I am sure I can tweak the one for positive accordingly.

I want to set a value for the same. Like..there can be no two Pages with the same Title. What check do I need to add in my Insert/Update Stored Procedure ? How do I make sure duplicates are never added. When I update, like lets say I have a row in my Table 1 as shown above with PageID=1. Now when I am updating this row, like I didn't change the Title from the drop down and only changed Content in the text box, its not updating the record ..and when Stored procedure's Update Query does not execute it displays a Label that says "Page with this title exists already." So whenever I am updating an existing record that label is displayed on screen.How do I change that IF condition in my Update Stored procedure?? EDIT:- @gbn :: Will that IF condition work in case of update? I mean lets say I am updating the Page with TitleID=1, I changed its content, then when I update, it's gonna execute that IF condition and it still won't update coz TitleID=1 already exits!It will only update if TitleID=1 is not there in Table1. Isn't it? Guess I am getting confused. Please answer.Thanks.

  • Jquery - Loading a page with .load and selector doesn't execute script?

    I'm trying to load one page into another using the .load() method. This loaded page contains a script that I want to execute when it has finished loading. However it doesn't execute. If I stick a simple alert("") in the script of content.html it doesn't execute either. However, if I do away with the #toLoad selector in the .load() call, it works fine. I am not sure why this is, as the block is clearly in the scope of the #toLoad div. I don't want to avoid using the selector, as in reality the content.html will be a full HTML page, and I'll only want a select part out of it. Any ideas? If the script from content.html was in the .load() callback, it works fine, however I obviously don't want that logic contained within index.html. I could possibly have the callback use .getScript() to load "content.html.js" afterwards and have the logic in there, that seems to work? I'd prefer to keep the script in content.html, if possible, so that it executes fine when loaded normally too. In fact, I might do this anyway, but I would like to know why the above doesn't work.

  • Customizing the Stars Image for Ajaxful_Rating RoR plugin

    I'm trying to come up with my own star image that's slightly smaller and different style than the one provided in the gem/plugin, but Ajaxful_rating doesn't have an easy way to do this. Here's what I've figured out so far: The stars.png in the public folder is three 25x25 pixel tiles stacked vertically, ordered empty star, normal star, and hover star. I'm assuming as long as you keep the above constraints, you should be fine without modifying any other files. But what if you want to change the image size of the stars to larger or smaller? I've found where you can change the height in the stylesheets/ajaxful_rating.css .ajaxful-rating{ position: relative; /*width: 125px; this is setted dynamically */ height: 25px; overflow: hidden; list-style: none; margin: 0; padding: 0; background-position: left top; } .ajaxful-rating li{ display: inline; } .ajaxful-rating a, .ajaxful-rating span, .ajaxful-rating .show-value{ position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; text-indent: -1000em; height: 25px; line-height: 25px; outline: none; overflow: hidden; border: none; } You just need to change every place that says "25px" above to whatever height your new star image is. This works fine but doesn't display the horizontal part correctly. Anyone know where I would look to set the horizontal part as well? (I'm assuming it's in an .rb file somewhere based upon how many stars you specified in your ajaxful_rating setup)

  • Strange data swapping error occurs when I attempt to update rows in my table from another table in m

    So I have a table of data that is 10,000 lines long. Several of the columns in the table simply describe information about one of the columns, meaning, that only one column has the content, and the rest of the columns describe the location of the content (its for a book). Right now, only 6,000 of the 10,000 rows' content column is filled with its content. Rows 6-10,000's content column simply says null. I have another table in the db that has the content for rows 6,000-10,000, with the correct corresponding primary key which would (seemingly) make it easy to update the 10,000 row table. I have been trying an update query such as the following: UPDATE table(10,000) SET content_column = (SELECT content FROM table(6,000-10,000) WHERE table(10,000).id = table(6-10,000.id) Which kind of works, the only problem is that it pulls in the data from the second table just fine, but it replaces the existing content column with null. So rows 1-6,000's content column become null, and rows 6-10,000's content column have the correct values...Pretty strange I thought anyway. Does anybody have any thoughts about where I am going wrong? If you could show me a better sql query, I would appreciate it! Thanks

  • How do large sites accomplish row-level permissions?

    So I am making a small site using cakephp, and my ACL is set up so that every time a piece of content is created, an ACL rule is created to link the owner of the piece of content to the actual content. This allows each owner to edit/delete their own content. This method just seems so inefficient, because there is an equivalent amount of ACL rules as content in the database. I was curious, how do big sites, with millions of pieces of content, solve this problem?
