• Python: Using `copyreg` to define reducers for types that already have reducers

  (Keep in mind I'm working in Python 3, so a solution needs to work in Python 3.) I would like to use the copyreg module to teach Python how to pickle functions. When I tried to do it, the _Pickler object would still try to pickle functions using the save_global function. (Which doesn't work for unbound methods, and that's the motivation for doing this.) It seems like _Pickler first tries to look in its own dispatch for the type of the object that you want to pickle before looking in copyreg.dispatch_table. I'm not sure if this is intentional. Is there any way for me to tell Python to pickle functions with the reducer that I provide?

  For one of the assignments I need to create an overloaded function print that prints an element or all elements of an array. I have no problem with printing the entire array: for( int i = 0; i < size; i++) cout << list [ i ] <<endl; But how do I make the same function to print only one particular element? The way I see it is to ask a user what to print, either one element or all numbers. Or am I missing something here?

I can rewrite it in groovy but just want to know if it is possible to call javascript function from a java (groovy) method?   I have a piece of code shown below: $(".tagArea li").mouseover(function(){ $(this).animate({ borderWidth: "2px" }, 1000 ); }); $(".tagArea li").mouseout(function () { $(this).animate({ borderWidth: "1px" }, 1000 ); }); When I try to hover it on a particular list item, it properly animates but doesn't stop doing just once. It keeps doing 2 or 3 times. How to avoid this, I 've tried many a times but no positive result occurs to me. Kindly help.

  I have been trying to find if a file_exist in the directory. If not i want to use a different image. But as i am using the file_exists function it always returns false.   I am having an aspx page in which I am calling a user control. The user control I am using a pop up to display it when a user clicks a asp:linkbutton. In that user control I am having a textbox and I am calling a Jquery Blur to do some validation. While doing so the function is calling [blur] is calling twice. I just called an alert() with the textbox value.So I can see the alert is coming twice .What I need to do to avoid the second time. I need to do it only whenever the user going out of the textbox and that also one time. $('#<%=txtCategory.ClientID %>').blur(function() { alert($(this).val()); }); This is called twice.Thanks for ur response.

  I'm using two plugins on my wordpress site: Auto post youtube Pulls a youtube video then drafts it for me. I use this on my index page beside the post code and the thumbnail appears great: <?php tern_wp_youtube_image(); ?> Top Ten Which I use to display the most viewed posts on a page. Not looking great at the moment, but will fix styling later. That is, using function arguments as local variables. Both are placed on the stack, and pretty much identical performance wise, I'm wondering about the best-practices aspects of this. I feel like an idiot when I add an additional and quite redundant line to that function consisting of int numCopy = num, however it does bug me. What do you think? Should this be avoided?

  Hello. I am using Notepad++ and attempting to replace all numeric strings within a specific tag (xxxxof my XML document with a new string which has been modified by a specific variable. Here's an example (please remove the space between < and start): < start501234< /start round(501234 * 0.9) = 451111 < start451111< /start Is there a way to automatically find all numeric values within the start tag and do replace it by that same value multiplied by 0.9? I don't have to use Notepad++ if there's another tool that can do this. Thanks!
