    Is there any recommended java application profiling tutorial? I am now using jProfiler and eclipse TPTP with my profiling. However, although equipped with wonderful weapons, as a newbie in java profiling, I am still missing the general theory and skill in pinpointing the bottleneck.     I'm newbie with Gstreamer and I'm trying to use it in order to make a RTP session I can make a Gstrtpbin sender and a Gstrtpbin receiver separately but I can not make the same Gstrtpbin as sender and receiver in the same time. My question: Is it possible to do it ??? If it is, I will be thankful for a simple example with the C language.

    We are making MFi hardware and an iOS app. We will want to have the BT device notify our app even if we are not running periodically when certain events happen. I know the CoreBluetooth API is the one to use, but can't tell for sure if that API only works with BT Low Energy devices or if it will also work with regular (MFi of course) BT 2.1 and higher devices. So my question is: Does the CoreBluetooth API only work with Bluetooth Low Energy devices or will it also work with 2.1 devices?

  • How can I use fossil (DVCS) in a home environment?

    I'm trying fossil as my new VCS, since I'm a lone developer working on small projects. I started testing fossil but I encountered a (probably major newbie) problem. How does one push or pull to another directory (which is easy on Hg). Fossil pull or push commands expect a URL and not a directory. When I start a server in one directory and try to push from another directory I get the "server loop" error message. Any ideas?
