    I am writing a Visual Studio add-in in C# and I need access to the currently running process' stack trace. I tried putting this code into my add-in but it returns the add-in's stack trace, not the process I am debugging. System.Diagnostics.StackTrace stacktrace = new System.Diagnostics.StackTrace(true); System.Diagnostics.StackFrame stackframe = stacktrace.GetFrame(0); Any help would be appreciated.

    hi, I've installed the usb driver, i'm running win7. I can see that the driver is installed in the window-android SDK and AVD manager-installed packages but when i'm writing "adb devices" in the cmd it doesnt show like the phone is connected (it is - it has the orange led on..) I'm using the HTC G1. I also did the "Turn on "USB Debugging" on your device" step... anyone got an idea??

  • How to log communication of a WebService running on IIS 6.0?

    I'm running an ASP.NET WebService on IIS 6.0 that shows a lot of HTTP 500 (probably just exceptions from the WebService) inside the log at %systemroot%\System32\LogFiles\W3SVC1 on a customers site. Is it possible to log the content of those HTTP responses and there requests without modifying the WebService using IIS or a plug-in for IIS? I thought of using Wireshark or Fiddler to sniff on the HTTP traffic but I would prefer to just turn on an option inside IIS to make him log the communication (this should not be to hard since it is logging the requested URLs anyway)

Is there some kind of precision mechanism being used that maybe isn't completely transparent through the some_object.total call?

    I am using a ServerSocket port to run one instance only of my Java Swing application, so if a user tries to open another instance of the program, i show him a warning that "Another instance is already open". This works fine, but instead of showing this message i want to set focus on the running application itself, like some programs does (MSN Messenger), even if it was minimized. Is there a solution for this for various operating systems ?

  • Error message when running a Sinatra application on Windows Vista.

    I was following a video tutorial by Adam Keys about how to make a URL shortener app in Sinatra. The code that is giving me problems is located here http://pastie.org/958644 So when I ran it I got this error: shortener.rb:12: syntax error, unexpected $undefined, expecting $end @@ home I typed it exactly as Adam said but this keeps happening. I looked at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1265040/how-to-count-total-lines-changed-by-a-specific-author-in-a-git-repository, which had the command git log --author="<authorname>" --pretty=tformat: --numstat, but the answer failed to give a script(however simple) to total the lines changed.     I'm writing a test engine for a Java application that has some of the code written in C. This application uses JNI to access it's native part. In the engine I'm writing, I use Fest to control de UI and perform the tests. However, I,m blind when dealing with the part that is written in C. I wonder if I can use JNA or JNI to access the native part of the app. I believe that the fact that the application is already running is huge issue here.
