  • UIScrollview : scroll with 2 fingers and not one

    Hello, I have a UIScrollView containing another wiew. This view need to handle single touch event for drawing. For this reason I would like to scroll using 2 fingers. I managed to get this working for 2.x SDK but it's no more working with 3.X series. Do you have idea/workaround for achieving this? Thanks in advance for your help :)

    Hi, I'm helping a friend transfer a site to a new server who uses Actinic to run a small catalogue of items. I've transferred the files over to the new server, but I need to change a few configuration settings for Actinic, as the old server stored files in /public_html But the new one uses /httpdocs Does anyone know which files I need to edit to do this? I can't get in touch with my friend at the moment as he is on holiday. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

But some say that Cocoa Touch applications can't be multitasking as iPhone has only one window and views on it. But I could not understand what is the correct reason for this ? Please clarify me.

    I have a problem regarding running my application with a Distribution certificate. The application will work fine with a Development certificate on my iPod Touch. Once I change the Code Signing Identity to a Distribution certificate and specify an Entitlements file, the application crashes on launch. Is there anything I can do to correct this?     Hi First let me start of saying I know absolutely nothing about c++ and I am really just more interested in getting this to work then learning c++(I got enough on my plate to learn). So basically I am trying to make a terms of service for my windows mobile 6 professional application but it seems I need to use c++ to do it. After hours of searching I found a solution but it developed for windows mobile standard. So they somehow used c++ to make a message box and on standard devices(ie non touch screen phones) the message box can have like scrolling. For some reason this is not the case with professional devices(touch screen devices). So my message box goes off the page and you can never accept or decline the terms.   • SVN: Prevent a newer client from upgrading a working copy's SVN version?

    Is it possible to prevent a newer SVN client (say 1.6) from automatically upgrading a working copy that was checked out with an older client (say 1.4 or 1.5)? I find that as soon as I touch a working copy with a newer client, anyone using an older client to work with the same files can no longer do so (for obvious reasons). Assuming requiring everyone to upgrade their SVN clients isn't an option, is there a configuration setting or flag I can set to prevent my newer client from making this change?

  • What is the difference between deploying to com+/MTS using regsvr32?

    We have a legacy VB6 component that was com+/MTS and is used by asp classic. Staff is having trouble with deployment. Would there be any harm in just using regsvr32 to register the DLL, which will be used by IIS? Alternatively---I won't touch COM+ with a 10 foot pole--so is there a suitable one line command to register a VB6 component with COM+/MTS using a 11 foot pole? My google fu is failing me.

    Hey guys, I have a laptop with a very sensitive touch pad, and wanted to code a small program that could block the mouse input when I was typing a paper or something. I didn't think it would be hard to do, considering everything I've seen on low-level hooks, but I was wrong (astounding, right?). I looked at a few examples, but the examples I've seen either block both keyboard and mouse, or just hide the mouse. Any help with this would be great.

    I have a nascent bridge scoring app that is meant to be stored locally on an iPod touch/iPhone (iPad? Would probably be fugly...) So far so good, got a custom icon rolling and basic JS navigation laid out, but my problem is that it retains its state when I quit the app. Is there a simple magic Apple meta tag for this?     I'm using Git with WindRiver to manage a project of mine. The code is being managed, however the project files (such as .cproject, .project, .wrmakefile, and .wrproject) are not. However when I switch branches, Git deletes those files spite them being in .gitignore, thereby removing my ability to compile the code without having to revert commits or keeping a backup. So, is there a way to say to Git - ignore these files and don't touch them no matter what?

    I just want to know whether it is possible to develop an Android application that will allow remotely controlling an Android phone in the same way that remote desktop, or team viewer allows control over desktop operating systems. Is it possible on an unrooted phone? The basic functionlit required to acompolish this is would be the ability to capture the frame buffer and programmatically invoke touch on the device.
