• As an experiment I want to work a bit with AWS. How much might I expect to pay?

  I'm about to go to Pycon, and while I have my hosting at Webfaction one of the tutorials (JKM) asks for students to have AWS instances. I've been trying to figure out what some minimum charge examples might look like? I'll have a lamp server with Django and a requisite amount of storage but next to no traffic,,Any one have some guidance/advice? My Google searches and look here did not turn up much useful info?

  I don't know much about SSL, but I've read something and I was wondering if it's possible to intercept the communication between client and server (for example, a company can monitor employees data transfer?). I thought it was a difficult task, but it looks like that it is very simple. When a client requests a https connection the router can be instructed to intercept the key exchange and send to the server and the client it's own public keys (further it can encode/decode the hole traffic). Is it true, or I'm misunderstanding something?

• Permission Denied IE iFrame

  Hi Guys, I have a site on A.com and an iframe on B.com which calls javascript from A.com. This works great in FF. In IE7 / 8 I am getting a Message: Access is denied. message. I have checked the HTTP Traffic via Fiddler - and I can see that it isn't blocked in Fiddler ? Any ideas what could be causing this and how to solve ?

  I want to use htaccess to redirect all traffic from www.oldsite.com/directory to www.newsite.com I want to make it so that when visitors view any webpage within www.oldsite.com/directory (ie. www.oldsite.com/directory/contact.html) it gets redirected to the homepage of www.newsite.com I tried "Redirect /directory http:www.newsite.com" but the webpage the visitor is trying to access within the directory gets attached to the new sites url (ie. www.newsite.com/contact.html)

Here it is: In the form just include an extra parameter that is: encrypted(user's userID + request time). My guess would be to add additional nameservers beyond the first two. • IIS - IP Address and Domain Name Restrictions - not blocking IP addresses

  I have added an IP address in IIS7 in the IP address and domain restrictions. From what I have read this should block all traffic to the folder apart from the allowed IP address. For some reason this does not work. If I access the section from my work computer all ok, when I access it from my phone I can still see the page. Does anyone have any idea why IIS is not blocking all the other IPs out? Thanks

Obviously I could do a load test and vary the values, but I couldn't find any kind of documentation on this. Most samples have a minute, a couple of minutes. There's no recommended range.   I have a strange bug that occurs in IE7/XP and IE8/Vista on my website. IE sends two cookies named PHPSESSID. How to reproduce: Clear cookies in IE (not necessary if you never visited unisender.com). Visit unisender.com (exactly without www to reproduce!) and it will redirect to www.unisender.com Login with any valid username and password (I've registered username testmsdn with password testmsdn - feel free to use for testing) Run your favourite capture-the-traffic program (I prefer wireshark) Now click any menu link (e.g. "messages") Look at captured traffic - you will see that IE sends double PHPSESSID cookie (and you are logged out after click because of this). It seems like first PHPSESSID is from unisender.com and second from www.unisender.com.
