    Hey all, I use MySQLdb a lot when dealing with my webserver. I often find myself repeating the lines: row = cursor.fetchone() while row: do_processing(row) row = cursor.fetchone() Somehow this strikes me as somewhat un-pythonic. Is there a better, one-line way to accomplish the same thing, along the lines of inline assignment in C: while (row = do_fetch()) { do_processing(row); } I've tried figuring out the syntax using list comprehensions, but I can't seem to figure it out. I successfully generated the ruby files with the wsdl2ruby.rb but when un run the generated script I get the following error: at depth 0 - 20: unable to get local issuer certificate OpenSSL::SSL::SSLError: SSL_connect returned=1 errno=0 state=SSLv3 read server certificate B: certificate verify failed I also tried to connect via this script but same issue require 'http-access2' client = HTTPAccess2::Client.new() client.ssl_config.set_trust_ca('/arello.cert') puts client.get('https://www.arello.com/webservice/verify.cfc?wsdl').content Any ideas?     So I just ran into a stupid problem in which users could not download files that had a percent sign in it. It wound up being URLScan. I had to un-set two things in urlscan.ini: 1) Set VerifyNormalization to 0 (disabled) 2) Remove the percent sign from the "DenyUrlSequences" section Do an iisreset, and it problem solved. But the big question is: How much of a security risk is this?

I assume it doesn't like that I'm storing a constant in a dictionary. Well, where can I store it then? Should I just place (void *) before every constant?
