    Hi im looking (but cant find) for sample app that will show me how to implement UITableView with custom UITableViewCell that is similar to one in the Things app, with smooth animation from read-only view (that hides empty cells) to editable view that shows only cells that can be edited, and custom cell with multiline input with small image. I would appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction. Im new to Cocoa/Objective-C programming but Im familiar with Object Oriented programing concepts.

    Hi All, In my silverlight project I have a Context Menu (right click menu) that I want to close it if I click anywhere outside it. I add handler to the click event on App: AddHandler App.Current.RootVisual.MouseLeftButtonDown, AddressOf HideMenu But the problem that: it does not enter the Handler when I click on any other command, or click on the same control that have the context menu, it is enter only when I click on an empty area outside the menu.   • double click and select the path(including '/') in Terminal.app

    I'm using Terminal.app on Mac OS10.6.3, with gnu screen and zsh. What I want to do is, see pwd(or an URL) in Terminal.app and double click on it, and select the whole path, to copy and paste after that. But what I get now is a single directory name, because '/' is not treated as a word. I found that iTerm has a setting to change it(iTerm - Preferences - Mouse - Characters considered part of a word), but is there any way to do this on my environment?

  • iPad web app: Prevent input focus AFTER ajax call

    So I've read around and can't for the life of me figure out of to solve my issue effectively. In short, I have a web app built for the iPad - which works as it should. However, I have an Ajax form which also submits as it should. But, after the callback and I clear/reset my form, the "iPad" automatically focuses on an input and opens the keyboard again. This is far from ideal. I managed to hack my way around it, but it's still not perfect. The code below is run on my ajax callback, which works - except there's still a flash of the keyboard quickly opening and closing. Note, my code won't work unless I use setTimeout. Also, from my understanding, document.activeElement.blur(); only works when there's a click event, so I triggered one via js. IN OTHER WORDS, HOW DO I PREVENT THE KEYBOARD FROM REOPENING AFTER AJAX CALL ON WEB APP? PS: Ajax call works fine and doesn't open the keyboard in Safari on the iPad, just web app mode.   • document directory for different iphone app targets

    I have two targets for my app which both unarchive serialized objects, however the objects made by the two apps are not compatible. these objects seem to be saved to the same document directory so that one app will try to unarchive the other's objects. how do I get the apps to create separate sandboxes so they do not have access each others' saved objects? or do I need to just have each version create differently named files?

    I'm new with dealing with the .sqlite3 in iphone, I created a sqlite3 file in /Users/myLab/Library/Application Support/iPhone Simulator/5.1/Applications/308C4355-D8EE-4524-A7F9-638DEB68B298/Documents/file.sqlite3 and I inserted the tables into it using Terminal.app and everything works ok with my app. but when I moved this application to another device, opened by xcode and trying to run it, I discovered that my tables are not found in this .sqlite3 file in another device. how can I save my tables in .sqlite3 file??

    Hello Guys, I want to make a slick java commandline app which doesnt include all the nasty "java -jar some.jar arguments" instead, I would have it work just like program -option argument like any other commandline app. I use ubuntu linux, and it would be fine if it included a bit of .sh script or anything. I know I can just create a file with java -jar program.jar and do chmod +x file, afterwards I could run i with ./file, but then how can I pass the arguments to the program ?

    My iPhone app was rejected with the following note: "The following non-public APIs are included in your application: Spi Symbols __memset_chk __memmove_chk" These symbols appear in a small number of apparently cocos2d related object files: Grid.o Primitives.o TextureAtlas.o Curiously, this app had already been approved under the previous SDK, but under 3.2 it's being rejected, though that may have nothing to do with it.
