I am currently uploading a file and then trying to echo out an anchor linking to that file, but since I used mkdir() with 0700 permissions to upload the file, it won't allow me access to view the file. This is pretty straightforward on my main site where everything is set up in hierarchy by target user so I can just use the URL to filter the data. Is the best solution here to remove the Disallow from Robots.txt and just add noindex, nofollow meta tag to those pages you want blocked?   I'm currently using the anythingSlider it works quite well. But if there is one li, how do i make it stop sliding and remove the buttons displayed below? The *li*s are generated from the database so sometimes there's only one. I want the buttons to show only when there is more then one image. if there is one image all the buttons( back, forward, pause) should not be displayed. Does anybody know of a way of stopping it sliding if there's only one li and removing the buttons when there is only one image. ===================================================================================== Thank You. • Configure ApacheDS 1.5 with accessControlEnabled=true for authenticated access

  I need to set up an apacheDS instance. I am using standalone 1.5.5 on Linux. I have removed the example partition and added two of my own, each with their own suffixes. I have imported LDIFs for the two partitions and everything looks correct data-wise. I need to configure ApacheDS to disallow anonymous access. I was able to do that by following some of the directions here: http://directory.apache.org/apacheds/1.5/145-enable-and-disable-anonymous-access.html http://directory.apache.org/apacheds/1.5/32-basic-authorization.html Now only the administrator account (uid=admin,ou=system) can log in and make queries. I need to establish an admin account, and a "regular user" account which can read and write only certain entries within each partition. I tried to read the above docs and I got nuthin'. The second page "basic authorization" is completely incomprehensible to me. When I tried to add a "prescriptiveACI" to it using Apache Directory Studio, I get: Administration point 2.5.4.11=abc,2.5.4.10=efg does not contain an administrativeRole attribute! An administrativeRole attribute in the administrative point is required to add a subordinate subentry. where my partition is "ou=abc,o=def". I have no clue what is going on and the docs are really not helping, I am at a complete loss here. How can it possibly be this hard to just restrict access? P.S. can someone with proper rep please change the tag "apache" to the new tag "ApacheDS"?

• Multiple SVN repos on Debian HTTPd vhost setup

  I would like to have my svn/http server setup so I can access multiple repositories via a "svn" subdomain: https://svn.example.com/repo1 https://svn.example.com/repo2 I am using Debian 6, and already have multiple vhosts set up via the standard sites-available method. Resources and their problems: How To: subversion SVN with Apache2 and DAV This one doesn't deal with a server with multiple vhosts. Installing and Configuring Subversion This one only considers one subversion repository. This one does show putting the SVN DAV <Location> in the svn vhost file. However, it doesn't say whether to put it inside or outside the <VirtualHost> tag. Does this really limit the subversion access to just that vhost? I just tried, and can access /foorepo from any subdomain. Setting Up Subversion And Trac As Virtual Hosts On An Ubuntu Server This one appears to be very close, but I can still access repos from any vhost. In other words, it doesn't matter what subdomain I specify, as long as the path matches the repo name. Doesn't make any sense. And yes, my <Location> tag is inside the <VirtualHost>. A lot of these articles seem to have been written in 2006 or earlier, and don't necessarily conform to the configuration methods that newer distros are using. Can anyone guide me in the right direction?

• Setting up AJP with JBoss 7

  I have two different versions of JBoss on a server, JBoss 6.0 Final and JBoss 7.0.2. I can one run or the other by switching a couple of sym links and issuing a "service jboss start" command. I am, by no means, an expert in JBoss, however JBoss 6.0 appears to have AJP running out of the box with no initial configuration required on port 8009. With JBoss 7, however, I had to vi the file "standalone/configuration/standalone.xml" and add a few entries. Those entries are: In the <subsystem /> tag, I added: <connector name="ajp" protocol="AJP/1.3" socket-binding="ajp" /> In the <socket-binding-group /> tag I added: <socket-binding name="ajp" port="8009"/> Then in Apache's configuration file (httpd.conf), I added: <Proxy *> AddDefaultCharset Off Order deny,allow Allow from all </Proxy> ProxyPass /app ajp://localhost:8009/app ProxyPassReverse /app ajp://localhost:8009/app AJP proxying works with 6, not with 7... I assume it's because I haven't properly set up AJP in JBoss 7 and not entirely sure how to do that. I have searched documentation on their site with not a lot of specifics on how to do so. Any help or insight into setting up AJP with JBoss 7 would be much appreciated!!
