    When I try to build rpm from src rpm (Apache 2.4.1) I got this error: rpmbuild -tb httpd-2.4.1.tar.bz2 --ba httpd.spec + ./configure --build=x86_64-redhat-linux-gnu --host=x86_64-redhat-linux-gnu --target=noarch-redhat-linux-gnu --program-prefix= --prefix=/usr --exec-prefix=/usr --bindir=/usr/bin --sbindir=/usr/sbin --sysconfdir=/etc --datadir=/usr/share --includedir=/usr/include --libdir=/usr/lib64 --libexecdir=/usr/libexec --localstatedir=/var --sharedstatedir=/usr/com --mandir=/usr/share/man --infodir=/usr/share/info --enable-layout=RPM --libdir=/usr/lib64 --sysconfdir=/etc/httpd/conf --includedir=/usr/include/httpd --libexecdir=/usr/lib64/httpd/modules --datadir=/var/www --with-installbuilddir=/usr/lib64/httpd/build --enable-mpms-shared=all --with-apr=/usr --with-apr-util=/usr --enable-suexec --with-suexec --with-suexec-caller=apache --with-suexec-docroot=/var/www --with-suexec-logfile=/var/log/httpd/suexec.log --with-suexec-bin=/usr/sbin/suexec --with-suexec-uidmin=500 --with-suexec-gidmin=100 --enable-pie --with-pcre --enable-mods-shared=all --enable-ssl --with-ssl --enable-socache-dc --enable-bucketeer --enable-case-filter --enable-case-filter-in --disable-imagemap checking for chosen layout...   • TeamCity stopped working once I added NUnit to the mix

    - by Dave
    I'm struggling a lot trying to get our build server going. I am currently running tests in a Windows XP virtual machine, and have installed TeamCity v5.0.3, build 10821. I am using NUnit v2.5.3. I finished the initial setup with TeamCity without any issues at all, provided that I use the sln2008 build runner that makes the entire process almost brainless. It's really quite nice that way, and very satisfying to see your first successful automated build. Now it's time to kick it up a notch and I wanted to get NUnit working. I keep the NUnit 2.5.3 assemblies in an external libs folder in SVN, so I checked that out onto the test system. I selected NUnit 2.5.3 from the build runner options, as the online instructions had recommended. But when I build, I get the following error: Window1.xaml.cs(14,7): error CS0246: The type or namespace name ‘NUnit’ could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) Window1.xaml.cs(28,10): error CS0246: The type or namespace name ‘Test’ could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) Window1.xaml.cs(28,10): error CS0246: The type or namespace name ‘TestAttribute’ could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) Everything compiles great in the IDE. From finding blog posts and submitting comments, I got some advice and confirmed the following: I have the HintPath value set properly in my project file (points to the external lib) I can also do a full Release and Debug build from the command line using msbuild I have tried do use the NUnit installer so nunit.framework.dll gets registered into the GAC I have changed the build agent's logon account to be a user on the test system, rather than LOCAL SYSTEM. Nothing seems to help... can anyone else here offer me some advice on what to try next?

  • How to build a tracing log in asp.net mvc?

    - by John
    Is there an easy way to generate a log file that will trace at runtime the path through the code? I would like to see every controller, action, and view that was executed as my program runs. Can this be done without having to add logging code to every controller, action, and view?

  • If I build a solution in C#, how do I add a database to the final program?

    - by DevX
    Apologies if this is a very basic question, but I am preparing to create an executable for a Visual Studio C# Application. (My first time!) My application uses a database that I'm currently storing in SQL Server. This works fine while I'm coding since I created the database manually on my computer. I see that VS2008 has created an .exe in my bin/debug folder, but how do I ensure that any new users (that doesn't already have the database) doing a fresh install gets the database also?

  • What's better way to build NSPredicate with to-many deep relationships?

    - by Victor
    Hello, I have three entities: EntityA, EntityB and EntityC connected with to-many relationships. See schema for details: For getting all instance of EntityA which depend from EntityB.name I use the predicate like this: NSPredicate *predicate = [NSPredicate predicateWithFormat:@"ANY EntityB.name like 'SomeName'"]; What should be predicate for getting all instance of EntityA which depend from EntityC.name? I tried query like @"ANY EntityB.entitiesC.name like 'SomeName'" but get exception "multiple to-many keys not allowed here". Best regards, Victor

  • HttpHandler to handle all kinds of URL's in Mono Apache/XSP in order to build a REST service

    - by vtortola
    Hi, I want to develop my own REST service, so I've created a HttpHandler that is configured with verb="" and path="", the the application in "~/MyRESTsrv/" will handle any derivated URL. This approach works good in IIS7 with "integrated mode" and apparently in IIS6 if you map all the extensions to "aspnet_isapi.dll". Is this possible in Apache/XSP with Mono? Do I have to do something special or it will work out of the box? Cheers.

  • Codeigniter: How to build an edit form that uses form validation and re-population?

    - by Sergio
    Hi There, I have a simple form in codeigniter that I wish to use for the editing or records. I am at the stage where my form is displayed and the values entered into the corresponding input boxes. This is done by simply setting the values of said boxes to whatever they need to be in the view: <input type="text" value="<?php echo $article['short_desc'];?>" name="short_desc" /> But, if I wish to use form_validation in codeigniter then I have to add thos code to my mark-up: <input value="<?php echo set_value('short_desc')?>" type="text" name="short_desc" /> So not the value can be set with the set_value function should it need to be repopulated on error from the post data. Is there a way to combine the two so that my edit form can show the values to be edited but also re-populate? Thanks

  • Qt: how to build QML apps for Symbian devices?

    - by DaveJohnston
    I am pretty new to Qt and I have just started looking at QML. There are some sample applications included with the Nokia Qt SDK for Symbian and I have managed to load them into Qt Creator and run them using the QML Viewer application on the desktop. I would like to try some of the samples out on a device, but I am totally clueless as to how I would go about getting the qml files to run on a device. Are they first packaged into a sis file and installed or is the folder simply copied over? If so how is the app started on the device? Having done some googling the only information I seem to be able to find says that the Qt libraries available for Symbian devices at the moment is only 4.6.3 whereas version 4.7.0 is required for QML apps? Does this mean that I won't be able to run QML apps on a device at the moment? (Device is S60 5th Edition) Any help or pointers in the right direction for more information would be much appreciated.

  • Can't build full html table in QTextEdit with std::for_each...

    - by mosg
    Hi. Here is my code function: void ReportHistory::update(void) { ui.output->clear(); ui.output->setCurrentFont(QFont("Arial", 8, QFont::Normal)); QString title = "My Title"; QStringList headers = QString("Header1,Header2,Header3,Header4,Header5,Header6").split(","); QString html = QString( "<html>" \ "<head>" \ "<meta Content=\"Text/html; charset=Windows-1251\">" \ "<title>%1</title>" \ "</head>" \ "<body bgcolor=#ffffff link=#5000A0>" \ "<p>%1</p>" \ "<table border=1 cellspacing=0 cellpadding=2>" \ "<tr bgcolor=#f0f0f0>" ).arg(title); foreach (QString header, headers) { html.append(QString("<th>%1</th>").arg(header)); } html.append("</tr>"); struct Fill { QString html_; Analytics::NavHistory::History::value_type prev_; Fill(QString html) : html_(html) {} void operator ()(const Analytics::NavHistory::History::value_type& entry) { QStringList line = (QString( "%1|%2|%3|%4|%5|%6" ).arg(value1, 15) .arg(value2 ? ' ' : 'C', 8) .arg(value3, 15) .arg(value4, 15, 'f', 4) .arg(value5, 15) .arg(value6, 15, 'f', 4)).split("|"); html_.append("<tr>"); foreach (QString item, line) { html_.append("<td bkcolor=0>%1</td>").arg(item); } html_.append("</tr>"); prev_ = entry; } }; std::for_each(history_->data().begin(), history_->data().end(), Fill(html)); html.append( "</table>" \ "</body>" \ "</html>"); ui.output->setHtml(html); } Where: ui.output is a pointer to QTextEdit. Question: the ui.output just show me the headers, and not the full table, what is wrong? Thanks.

  • unable to send email using REST API build in php?

    - by Pushpendra Kuntal
    i am designing REST API in php. I want to send a page to send email. This is my code to send email: $app->get('/sendemail', function () { <?php require_once "Mail.php"; $from = "Sandra Sender <[email protected]>"; $to = "Ramona Recipient <[email protected]>"; $subject = "Hi!"; $body = "Hi,\n\nHey Kuntal, you done it..."; $host = "my host"; $username = "myuserid"; $password = "password"; $headers = array ('From' => $from, 'To' => $to, 'Subject' => $subject); $smtp = Mail::factory('smtp', array ('host' => $host, 'auth' => true, 'username' => $username, 'password' => $password)); $mail = $smtp->send($to, $headers, $body); if (PEAR::isError($mail)) { echo("<p>" . $mail->getMessage() . "</p>"); } else { echo("<p>Message successfully sent!</p>"); } ?> }); My code of sending email is working if i check this into my separate file. But this code is not working in API. please suggest me what should i do for this?

  • How does a debug build make reverse engineering easy?

    - by danny
    Some answer here stated that debug info would make it easier to reverse engineer the software. When I use Visual C++ and distribute an executable with debugging information but without other files (.pdb), will it contain any interesting things? I looked to the executable with a hex editor and found nothing like symbol names, for now I assume the .exe file just links to information in the .pdb files, right? Do you know whether it contains variable names? function/member names? line numbers? anything interesting? Thanks!

  • Resource reference passing in puppet

    - by paweloque
    Is it possible to pass puppet resource references to other resources? My use-case is to build a jenkins build pipeline with puppet. To chain jenkins jobs into a pipeline I need to pass the successor job to a job. A subset of the definition is: jobs::build { "Build ${release_name}": release => $release_name, jenkins_jobs_path => $jenkins_jobs_path, successors => 'Deploy', } jobs::deploy { "Deploy ${release_name}": release => $release_name, jenkins_jobs_path => $jenkins_jobs_path, successors => 'Smoke Test', } In the def you see that I define the successors by name, i.e. 'Deploy' and in case of the second job 'Smoke Test'. What I'd like to do is to pass a reference to a resource and extract the name from it: jobs::build { "Build ${release_name}": release => $release_name, jenkins_jobs_path => $jenkins_jobs_path, successors => Jobs::Deploy["Deploy ${release_name}"], } jobs::deploy { "Deploy ${release_name}": release => $release_name, jenkins_jobs_path => $jenkins_jobs_path, successors => Jobs::Smoke_test["Smoke Test ${release_name}"], } And then within the jobs::deploy and jobs::build definition I'd access the resource by reference and query for it's type, etc.. Is it possible to achieve this in puppet?

  • How do build a composite or template control in ASP.Net MVC, or the equivelant?

    - by Jason Jackson
    In our current ASP.Net Webforms application we have several composite/template server controls that only exist for a common look and feel. For example, we have a panel control that has a title, a place for buttons related to the contents of the panel, and of course the contents. How is this best accomplished in MVC? RenderPartial doesn't get done what I need here. Should I still be using the same controls, but just on a view page? These controls don't really do anything on postback, they are only there for a common look and feel.

  • RSS parsing last build Date. Fastest way to do so please.

    - by Paul
    Dim myRequest As System.Net.WebRequest = System.Net.WebRequest.Create(url) Dim myResponse As System.Net.WebResponse = myRequest.GetResponse() Dim rssStream As System.IO.Stream = myResponse.GetResponseStream() Dim rssDoc As New System.Xml.XmlDocument() Try rssDoc.Load(rssStream) Catch nosupport As NotSupportedException Throw nosupport End Try Dim rssItems As System.Xml.XmlNodeList = rssDoc.SelectNodes("rss/channel") 'For i As Integer = 0 To rssItems.Count - 1 Dim rssDetail As System.Xml.XmlNode rssDetail = rssItems.Item(0).SelectSingleNode("lastBuildDate") Folks this is what I'm using to parse an RSS feed for the last updated time. Is there a quicker way? Speed seems to be a bit slow on it as it pulls down the entire feed before parsing.

  • Failure to register .dll with regsvr32 - only in Release build.

    - by Hendrik
    Hi, I'm having a weird problem when trying to register the .dll i created using regsvr32. During development everything went fine, the debug version registers and works fine. Now i wanted to create a Release version, but that Version does not register anymore. regsvr32 comes up with the following error: The module "mpegsplitter.dll" failed to load. Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files. The specified procedure could not be found. Some research brought me to the dependency walker, which does tell me this Error: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in an implicitly dependent module. It also does show a dependency on "crtdll.dll" that the debug version does not have (The function view shows soem functions that normally should be in ole32.dll), which is colored red'ish. So far so good, i guess its somehow related to what the dependency walker shows there. But where do i go from here? How do i fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated, that has been keeping me busy for several hours already. Thanks!

  • How can I convert this PHP script to Ruby? (build tree from tabbed string)

    - by Jon Sunrays
    I found this script below online, and I'm wondering how I can do the same thing with a Ruby on Rails setup. So, first off, I ran this command: rails g model Node node_id:integer title:string Given this set up, how can I make a tree from a tabbed string like the following? <?php // Make sure to have "Academia" be root node with nodeID of 1 $data = " Social sciences Anthropology Biological anthropology Forensic anthropology Gene-culture coevolution Human behavioral ecology Human evolution Medical anthropology Paleoanthropology Population genetics Primatology Anthropological linguistics Synchronic linguistics (or Descriptive linguistics) Diachronic linguistics (or Historical linguistics) Ethnolinguistics Sociolinguistics Cultural anthropology Anthropology of religion Economic anthropology Ethnography Ethnohistory Ethnology Ethnomusicology Folklore Mythology Political anthropology Psychological anthropology Archaeology ...(goes on for a long time) "; //echo "Checkpoint 2\n"; $lines = preg_split("/\n/", $data); $parentids = array(0 => null); $db = new PDO("host", 'username', 'pass'); $sql = 'INSERT INTO `TreeNode` SET ParentID = ?, Title = ?'; $stmt = $db->prepare($sql); foreach ($lines as $line) { if (!preg_match('/^([\s]*)(.*)$/', $line, $m)) { continue; } $spaces = strlen($m[1]); //$level = intval($spaces / 4); //assumes four spaces per indent $level = strlen($m[1]); // if data is tab indented $title = $m[2]; $parentid = ($level > 0 ? $parentids[$level - 1] : 1); //All "roots" are children of "Academia" which has an ID of "1"; $rv = $stmt->execute(array($parentid, $title)); $parentids[$level] = $db->lastInsertId(); echo "inserted $parentid - " . $parentid . " title: " . $title . "\n"; } ?>

  • How can I build something like Amazon S3 in Perl?

    - by Joel G
    I am looking to code a file storage application in perl similar to amazon s3. I already have a amazon s3 clone that I found online called parkplace but its in ruby and is old also isn't built for high loads. I am not really sure what modules and programs I should use so id like some help picking them out. My requirements are listed below (yes I know there are lots but I could start simple then add more once I get it going): Easy API implementation for client side apps. (maybe REST (?) Centralized database server for the USERDB (maybe PostgreSQL (?). Logging of all connections, bandwidth used, well pretty much everything to a centralized server (maybe PostgreSQL again (?). Easy server side configuration (config file(s) stored on the servers). Web based control panel for admin(s) and user(s) to show logs. (could work just running queries from the databases) Fast High Uptime Low memory usage Some sort of load distribution/load balancer (maybe a dns based or pound or perlbal or something else (?). Maybe a cache of some sort (memcached or parlbal or something else (?). Thanks in advance

  • How to build n-layered web architecture with PHP?

    - by Alex
    I have a description and design of a website and I need to redesign it to allow for new requirements. The website's purpose is the offering of government's contracts and bidding opportunities for different businesses.I'm dealing with the 3-tier architecture PHP website comprising of the user-interface tier(client's web browser),business logic layer(Apache web server with PHP engine in it and a couple of applications running within a web server as well) and a database layer(local mysql database). Now,i need to redesign it to su???rt distributed n-tier architecture and specify how I would go about it.After long hours of research i came to this solution: business logic should be separated into presentation and purely business logic tier to allow for n-layer architecture(user-interface,presentation tier,b.logic and data tier).I have decided to use ??? just for the presentation(since the original existing website is in PHP) and use it within apache web server.In the business logic i want to use J2?? implementation technology instead of implementing it in PHP(i.e using Zend app.server and smarty template) cz J2EE can provide much more essential container services which are essential for business logic,its robustness,maintainability and different critical business operations which will be carried out by the g?v?rnment's website.So,particularly,i want to use J??ss app.server with ?J? business objects in it which would provide all the b.logic in java and would interact with the database and so forth.In order to connect PHP on a web server with java on app.server i'm gonna use PHP/Java bridge API (or maybe Quercus or SOAP is better?).Finally,i have my data tier with mysql which will communicate with b.logic via JD??.Payment system application in ???.server is gonna use S??? to talk with credit card company. From your professional point of view,does it sound like a good way of redesigning the original website to allow for n-tier architecture considering the specifics of the website and the criticality of its operations?(payment system is included in it)or u would personally prefer to use PHP business objects for business logic as well instead of J2EE?If you have any wiser recommendation or some alternative,please let me know what is right or wrong in my current solution. H??? to hear your professional advice very s??n (I'm new to the area of web development) Thanks in advance

  • Bash Templating: How to build configuration files from templates with Bash?

    - by FractalizeR
    Hello. I'm writting a script to automate creating configuration files for Apache and PHP for my own webserver. I don't want to use any GUIs like CPanel or ISPConfig. I have some templates of Apache and PHP configuration files. Bash script needs to read templates, make variable substitution and output parsed templates into some folder. What is the best way to do that? I can think of several ways. Which one is the best or may be there are some better ways to do that? I want to do that in pure Bash (it's easy in PHP for example) 1)http://stackoverflow.com/questions/415677/how-to-repace-variables-in-a-nix-text-file template.txt: the number is ${i} the word is ${word} script.sh: #!/bin/sh #set variables i=1 word="dog" #read in template one line at the time, and replace variables #(more natural (and efficient) way, thanks to Jonathan Leffler) while read line do eval echo "$line" done < "./template.txt" BTW, how do I redirect output to external file here? Do I need to escape something if variables contain, say, quotes? 2) Using cat & sed for replacing each variable with it's value: Given template.txt: The number is ${i} The word is ${word} Command: cat template.txt | sed -e "s/\${i}/1/" | sed -e "s/\${word}/dog/" Seems bad to me because of the need to escape many different symbols and with many variables the line will be tooooo long. Can you think of some other elegant and safe solution?
