• Why ObservableCollection is not updated on items change?

  I noticed that ObservableCollection in WPF reflects changes in GUI only by adding or removing an item in the list, but not by editing it. That means that I have to write my custom class MyObservableCollection instead. What is the reason for this behaviour? Thanks

  board image the above is a board layout done by using gridbaglayout. i would like insets of 5 pixels around the whole board but not between each label. i scaned the api and havent come up with something that lets me do this. does this mean i have to nest my board gui inside another gridbaglayout with the insets desired? thank you.

  How can I validate the cells in a DataGridColumn individually? The validation is configured per-row. For example FIELD VALUE TYPE age 13 Integer height 13x3 Integer registered true Boolean temperature 98.G6 Float In this case, of course 13x3 and 98.G6 would be invalid. Writing a Validator is no problem, and I can grab the TYPE from the data provider object, but now do I get individual access to the GUI cells so I can give the Validator a source which is an individual cell, set the errorString on an individual cell.

  I've been building a Windows Service to create a WebBrowser object to navigate, login, and download a site's HTML. However, I recently discovered this bug which prevents the DocumentCompleted event from firing if the WebBrowser is not visible: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/259935 I've got to assume this is because the Windows Service doesn't allow for a GUI and therefore this bug is tripped. I spent some time researching this since yesterday and finally traced this down to a few posts on several website that use the System.DirectoryServices.DirectoryEntr class. Using the examples I found, I can add or deny IPs or domains under Connection control but not Relay Restrictions. What would be the commands in C# to add IPs to the Relay Restrictions? While submitting, is it necessary to add the iPad logo. if yes how to do it. my application is a small utility application...and I have not programmed it keeping iPad GUI guidelines in mind for example it doesn't have the landscape layout. how is it normally...if I submit an app is it automatically considered for iPad as well.
