    Well, I'm wondering is there's any way to link a single key on my keyboard to a file. I wish to execute the file upon pressing the key. I tried using the built in shortcut hotkey system and it didn't work out for me. It really needs to be one single key.

  • Amazon EC2 pem file stopped working suddenly

    I was connecting to Amazon EC2 through SSH and it was working well. But all of a sudden, it stopped working. I am not able to connect anymore with the same key file. What can go wrong ?     Hi everyone! I'm having problems with putting a favicon on my website! I have this code <link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/ico" href="img/favicon.ico"> And for some reason Firefox shows the favicon fine, but on webkit browsers its not showing up. I tried Google Chrome and Safari on a Mac and its not showing up, do I need to do something for these browsers?

    I have a GWT app that when launched it takes you to a page with just a menu. So as a shortcut type thing I would like the users to be able to go straight to the page they want. So if the default start page is x, the should be able to say x/add and it will take them to the add page. How would I get that in gwt? Do I need a bunch of different entry points?

  • Can you declare <canvas> methods within a template in javascript?

    Not entirely sure I posed the question in the best way but here goes... I have been playing around with the HTML5 canvas API and have got as far as drawing a shape in the canvas and getting it to move around with the arrow keys. I then tried to move my various variables and functions to a template so I could spawn multiple shapes (that would eventually be controlled by different keys). I'm probably going about it all the wrong way and I think the problem is that I'm trying to manipulate the canvas.context (call zone in my script) from within a object/template. Perhaps its nothing to do with that at all and I an just not declaring my persona functions properly in the context of the template. Documentation for the canvas API is very thin on the ground and any hint in the right direction will be very much appreciated.

  • How do I get the scalaz IDEA live templates working for the symbolic methods?

    Many of the methods in scalaz have symbolic equivalents, such as forever and 8 (of course, I have this the wrong way round, the symbolic methods really have ASCII equivalents). The project contains a live templates XML file for IDEA so these can be auto-completed, I believe by using the forever+TAB shortcut (in the above instance). I can't figure out how to import this live template into IDEA and actually use it, though. How can I do that?

  • VS 2008 hangs(slow) when I select "File > Open > Web Site..."

    When I try to select the following "File Open Web Site" or use the shortcut key "Shift + Alt + O" (which does the same), Visual Studio 2008 hangs with the loading mouse icon for about 8-10 seconds then the file. But if I do "File Open Project/Solution.." or "File Open File..." the explorer window comes up in under a second, instantly most times. Computer Specs: Windows 7 x64 Visual Studio 2008 Pro Edition with Service Pack 1 Intel Core2 Due e6420 @ 3.2GHz 4GB DDR2

  • php/dos : How do you parse a regedit export file?

    My objective is to look for Company key-value in the registry hive and then pull the corresponding Guid and other keys and values following it. So I figured i would run the regedit export command and then parse the file with php for the keys I need. So after running the dos batch command >regedit /E "output.txt" "HKLM\System....\Company1" The output textfile seems to be in some kind of UNICODE format which isn't regex friendly. I'm using php to parse the file and pull the keys.   • Need to remotely create an ODBC connection to a SQl server.

    using the delcarative_authorization gem for rails, is there a shortcut to allow a role access to all controller actions? privileges do # default privilege hierarchies to facilitate RESTful Rails apps privilege :manage, :includes => [:create, :read, :update, :delete] end isn't sufficient, because I have more controlling methods than just CRUD in my controllers. Something like: role :foo do has_permission_on :bar, :to =>[:all] end would be perfect, but I'm not finding it in the docs.

    Is it possible with Firebug to stop a javascript with a press of a button or a keyboard shortcut instead of stopping it by setting a breakpoint? Why would I like to do this? We have a very dynamic website with lots of animations. It would be a great help if I could just stop the scripts at the moment the animation is doing something I want to inspect. That would be a lot faster than fiddling with the breakpoints.
