    Hi everybody, I've been searching about this topic on Magento forum and Google but can't find a definite answer for the question. Hope I find it here. Is it possible to have a bundled configurable products in Magento? Take for example I want to sell a set of t-shirt and short on a product page where the customer can choose the number of quantity, the color and the size for the t-shirt and short respectively. Maybe like this : T-Shirt [A configurable Product] Color : [combobox to select color] Size : [combobox to select Size] Qty : [input to enter the qty] Short [Another configurable Product] Color : [combobox to select color] Size : [combobox to select Size] Qty : [input to enter the qty] [Add to Cart Button] Any help and answer will be much appreciated.   • Where should I define custom routes in my ZF 1.10 app?

    With the new Zend_Application/Zend_Application_Bootstrap classes I'm confused as to where I should be applying my custom routes. For example, at the moment I have one route: protected function _initRouter() { $router = new Zend_Controller_Router_Rewrite; $route = new Zend_Controller_Router_Route('news/:id', array('controller' => 'news', 'action' => 'view')); $router->addRoute('postArchive', $route); } This method is in my Zend_Application_Bootstrap_Bootstrap and is definitely run. The route is also applied in $router. As I see it I could be doing two things wrong - either the wrong place to add these routes, or not adding to the correct router. Can anyone point me in the right direction with this?

    All, I am using the following command to retrieve the domain name of my server. $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] This seems to return the IP address instead of domain name like www.example.com. I looked at PHPInfo and it also lists an IP address for HTTP_HOST instead of Domain name. What do I need to change to make the domain name appear instead of IP? Thanks

  • Log in sound is playing, but no sound during gnome desktop session.What's the problem?

    When i installed ubuntu, everything was great. But one day, i heard the login sound but no sound on the desktop session. This happens every time. I have reinstalled sound drivers several times, checked speakers are not mute, checked alsamixer, saw all the troubleshooting tips on the net, checked user privileges too but of no help. anyone knows the answer? Please help!!!!! I have ubuntu 10.4LTS and alc662 sound chip. My computer is detecting the sound card and no problems with my speakers.This maybe a bug but i cannot report as i don't know if this will repeat(I atleast have to solve the problem first).

    What is the "Rails-way" or the "Ruby-way" of doing the following: In my controller, I'm creating and instance of an Options class. It will be initialized with information in the params hash if the params hash exists. Otherwise, it will check the sessions hash for the information. Finally, it will initialize with defaults if neither params nor session has the data it needs. Here is how I'm doing it now (it works fine, but it seems a little ugly): if params[:cust_options] @options = CustomOptions.new( params[:cust_options] ) else if session[:cust_options @options = CustomOptions.new( session[:cust_options] ) else @options = CustomOptions.new end end session[:cust_options] = @options.to_hash Like I said, everything is working fine, I'm just looking for a more idiomatically Ruby way of writing this block of code.

    Hello, I am trying to understand how to use Zend_DB in my program but I have some problem. The class below (DatabaseService) work when I pass it a simple query. However, if I pass it it query with a join clause my page just hangs and not error is return.     I am trying to json_encode an array, which is what returns from a Zend_DB query. var_dump gives: (Manually adding 0 member does not change the picture). array(3) { [1]=> array(3) { ["comment_id"]=> string(1) "1" ["erasable"]=> string(1) "1" ["comment"]=> string(6) "test 1" } [2]=> array(3) { ["comment_id"]=> string(1) "2" ["erasable"]=> string(1) "1" ["comment"]=> string(6) "test 1" } [3]=> array(3) { ["comment_id"]=> string(1) "3" ["erasable"]=> string(1) "1" ["comment"]=> string(6) "jhghjg" } } The encoded string looks: {"1":{"comment_id":"1","erasable":"1","comment":"test 1"}, "2":{"comment_id":"2","erasable":"1","comment":"test 1"}, "3":{"comment_id":"3","erasable":"1","comment":"jhghjg"}} While I need it as: [{"comment_id":"1","erasable":"1","comment":"test 1"}, {"comment_id":"2","erasable":"1","comment":"test 1"}, {"comment_id":"3","erasable":"1","comment":"jhghjg"}] As the php.ini/json__encode documentation says it should. Any ideas?

  • How can I reconnect to a ssh session after a broken pipe?

    So I was running apt-get upgrade on a server when the router decided it had been too long since it last made me angry: It dropped all connection. Moral of the story is to use screen a lot when you're on a bum router. Anyway, I logged back in and found in htop that the process was still hanging there, still waiting for my Y/n to upgrade (hadn't hit it yet, luckily). Is there any way I can reattach to a session that had been broken off? I ended up just killing it since it wasn't in the middle of package management but it would be great to know for future reference.

Instead of doing that, is it possible to maintain an attribute in the xml file, "say active=true". Based on which the Zend_Config_Xml will know which section of the xml file settings to read? Thanks

    I am using Zend_Db to insert some data inside a transaction. My function starts a transaction and then calls another method that also attempts to start a transaction and of course fails(I am using MySQL5). So, the question is - how do I detect that transaction has already been started?   • Zend_Form: Is this really the way we should be doing things?

    OK. I understand how to use Zend_Form and it's implementation of the decorator pattern. My question is, is this the best way to be going about creating forms? Shouldn't a documents forms be left to to the front-end rather than generating forms programmatically? Doesn't this kinda violate the whole idea of keeping things separate? I mean, really, even providing that you have a good understanding of the methodology being employed, does it really save one that much time? I guess what I'm looking for is some guidance as to what might be considered 'best practice'. I'm not saying that Zend_Form doesn't have it's place, I'm just wondering if it should be used in all cases (or not). And this has nothing to do with validation. I'm just thinking that something more akin to using the 'ViewScript' approach might be more appropriate in most cases. Your thoughts?
