    Hi, I have a wordpress blog in http://suportrecerca.barcelonamedia.org/blog/ , and since I can no longer use our company servers for my blog I've had to move it to blog.joanmarcriera.es Google had my old blog well indexed and many people is landing to my old blog. I want to redirect this people to my new blog in a nice way, like a 5 seconds delay with some information or something. Any suggestions? I also would like to let google index the old blog like usual if it's possible. Thanks.

    One of my four Linux software raid arrays drops one of its two devices when I reboot my system. The other three arrays work fine. I am running RAID1 on kernel version 2.6.32-5-amd64. Every time I reboot, /dev/md2 comes up with only one device. I can manually add the device by saying $ sudo mdadm /dev/md2 --add /dev/sdc1.     I have two usb-webcams on them machine, but at bot they some switch /dev/video number. The solution to this problem seems to be new udev rule.   • Youtube videos suddenly all report "Invalid parameters" and won't play

    Running 11.10, with up-to-date Flash (11.1.102.55, which the Flash site agrees is the up-to-date version). Every Youtube video reports a blank screen with the words, "Invalid parameters": I've tried fiddling with the player "hardware acceleration" setting, and that has no effect. Similarly, I've clicked and un-clicked and re-clicked the "storage" options in the global settings thing, also to no effect. I haven't seen this in any google searches (though there are other problems described involved the "Invalid parameters" message) which makes me think it's a recent phenomenon. edit — hmm, fails in Firefox but works in Chrome ...

  • How do I import service references to Unity3D?

    I'm attempting access a service reference in Unity. I need two: the SOAP framework and a separate service called ContentVault. The respective service URL's are: SOAP: http://api.microsofttranslator.com/V2/Soap.svc ContentVault: http://ioun.wizards.com/ContentVault.svc Both services import fine in to Visual Studio. I've tried everything I can think of but they won't work with Unity. I just get various errors (changing depending on which solution I'm trying out). I've attempted using svcutil to export the services as external scripts, but all I got was a bunch of using errors. I've tried converting the code to work with .NET 2.0 to no avail, I've even tried making the services in to .DLL's to no success. How could get these services working with Unity?

  • How Do I Install Latest Java Plugin on Ubuntu 8.04 LTS with Custom Firefox 3.6.3?

    I have Ubuntu 8.04 LTS and will need to remain on that for awhile as I am a programmer and cannot disturb what I'm doing in the middle of a project. As you know, it doesn't want to install the latest Firefox by default and keeps me in the stone age. So, I had to install my own Firefox. I did so and with relative ease I was able to install the Flash plugin using the normal 'ln -s' technique one usually does with /usr/lib/firefox/plugins. Now I need to do a Gotomypc.com task and it requires Java -- moan -- so I need to figure out how to install Java. I downloaded and installed the latest Java plugin in /usr/java, and I do see underneath that layer of folders a plugins folder with a .so file. So, I went to /usr/lib/firefox/plugins and did this: ln -s /usr/java/jre1.6.0_20/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so Then, I also read on the web that one has to create a ~/.mozilla/plugins folder, cd into it, and then run the same ln -s command again. Another site recommended finding one's ~/.mozilla/firefox and renaming it to ~/.mozilla/firefox.old (after you backed up your bookmarks) and then launching firefox again so that it creates ~/.mozilla/firefox and uses the new Java plugin. Well, all these attempts have completely failed and it is incredibly frustrating. I do about:plugins to see my plugins and all I get are the Flash and the default null plugin. I do not see the Java one. Also, they said on my tools menu with Firefox 3.6.3 I would see a Java Console menu and I don't see that either. I found a pluginreg.dat somewhere deep under ~/.mozilla/firefox, but it does not list the Java plugin inside -- only Flash and the null plugin. Please help me install Java. I need to help a client out and need to connect to his PC remotely with gotomypc, which requires Java inside firefox.

  • Flash isn't working in Chrome on 64 bit Ubuntu 10.10 fresh install

    I just installed Ubuntu 10.10 64 bit last night on my laptop and installed Google Chrome ver. 8.0.552.237. So far flash works on Firefox and Chromium, but not at all on Chrome. I did the sevenmachines install for flashplugin64 and that worked for firefox and chromium. Anyone know how to make it work on Chrome? I really would prefer to use Chrome over Chromium, but if it's not an easy fix I can switch. I'm not too Ubuntu literate, but I can figure things out if necessary. (In short, long explanations are not necessary).

  • No GRUB Screen or recovery mode on Boot after 12.04 Upgrade

    I tried the live boot CD and boot-repair, also loaded the Desktop install CD, and it looks like all partitions check out OK. However, when I try to boot Linux (the only bootable partition on the computer) I get a blank screen. Every so often the screen give me something akin to: Assuming write through cache Asking for cache data failed it appears to start booting, then hangs. Ctrl+Alt+Delete shuts down the machine The last message during boot is "STarting TiMidity++ ALSA midi emulation... [OK]" I used boot-repair to generate a boot info report. One thing looks odd to me- it reports a missing core.img on /dev/sda1.     As the title goes , I have class named GetException.java,inside it ,I read a xml file in a static code block like(Because this document is shared): static{ ... document = db.parse(new File(System.getProperty("user.dir")+"/src/exception/ExceptionCode.xml")); ... } To test if the file path is correct, I write a main function just inside GetException.java, it proves that the path is correct ,xml file can be read successfully. My project root dir is "/home/wuchang/workspace/MongodbI". But When this Class is loaded from other class,such as I called one of its static functions , it reports the error message: /home/mrs/??/eclipse/src/exception/ExceptionCode.xml (No such file or directory) /home/mrs/??/eclipse/ is actually my eclipse installation directory.So , I wander how System.getProperty("user.dir") returned the eclipse installation directory to me ,instead of my project root directory?

  • iSCSI targets don't appear after rescan

    Hi everybody, I have an Equallogic 4000PS SAN box to which I have connected 2 x ESX 4.0.0 hosts sharing the LUNs. I have an older ESX 3.5 host which I want to setup to share the same LUNs. I have setup a vmkernel port with 2 NICs attached to 2 the iSCSI switch. When I perform an iSCSI software adapter rescan, it takes a long time and it doesn't find the targets.   • Configuring Pydev Interpreter in Eclipse to use Enthought Python Distribution

    I downloaded Pydev plugin for Eclipse (3.5.2) today on Mac OSX 10.5.8. To be able to use Pydev, I need to configure the interpreter in Eclipse. I am not clear what exactly I need to do here, or what this step does. I want to make sure that when I run programs from Eclipse using Pydev, it uses the Enthought Python Distribution (EPD) I have installed, and can use all the packages that come with EPD. Can someone please tell me simple steps that I need to follow. If I click on autoconfig, it shows a bunch of folders with the path /System/Library/Frameworks/Python.Framework/Versions/2.5/... But I know that the Python that came with EPD is version 2.6.4, so autoconfig is not choosing EPD. Thanks for any help.

    I have the following snippet in my pom.xml <dependency> <groupId>aspectj</groupId> <artifactId>aspectjrt</artifactId> <version>1.5.3</version> </dependency> and in one of my Java files I refer a class org.aspectj.lang.ProceedingJoinPoint. When I do a "mvn clean install" it compiles and builds fine but when I do an eclipse:eclipse, and import the project in eclipse it gives me an error The import org.aspectj cannot be resolved. I checked the .classpath file that was generated and it does not have an entry to this file. I tried a "mvn dependency:tree" and it lists this fine. Can someone tell me what is going wrong here?

    I have the following setup on Windows 7 Ultimate x64: Eclipse Indigo 2.7.2 (Build: M20120208-0800) Remote System Explorer 3.3.2 (see screenshot) (Oracle/Sun) Java 1.6 Update 31 (x86) Despite all my best efforts I am unable to connect to a remote system (a Centos 5.6 server on my local LAN) using a Remote System Explorer SSH connection - I've tried both password authentication and using my SSH private key. Here is a screenshot of both the Eclipse error dialogue and what is logged in my /var/log/secure log file: /var/log/secure: Apr 1 12:00:21 nagios sshd[6176]: Received disconnect from 172.16.3.88: 3: com.jcraft.jsch.JSchException: Auth fail When I connect for the first time I do get prompted to verify the authenticity of the remote host and the RSA key fingerprint. But that's as far as things go. Performing the same operation with the same credentials on my Fedora Core 16 box (also running the same version of Eclipse and Java) to the same server is successful. This leads me to believe that RSE SSH support on Windows is either broken or there's some piece of the SSH-on-Windows puzzle I'm missing. Is this the case?

  • WordPress > Activating plugin makes site go blank in one theme, not in another. Generated source ide

    Strangest thing. When I activate this specific plugin, the public side of the site goes blank (nothing but a white screen with blank view source). However, when I test the site with the wordpress default theme, the plugin does not conflict and the site works fine. The interesting thing is that I've compared the generated source (using FF's webmaster tools) with and without plugin activated and in each case they are identical. This led me to believe that perhaps the plugin was altering htaccess, however, that file is the same whether or not the plugin is active or not. How can I find out what is causing the problem with this plugin? The plugin is called "Crawl Rate Tracker".

  • List of phones that will work with Eclipse?

    I need an android phone to test my apps with that will work with Eclipse. It has to be low cost, run Gingerbread with modest memory and CPU. Thinking that any android phone would work I recently purchased a Virgin Mobil Chaser but as it turns out, it cannot be seen by either Eclipse or adb (but device manager does see the phone). Another developer has also had the same identical problem with the Chaser. I could keep buying phones and see if they work but that could be long and frustrating. I hope to find a "no contract" phone. Is there any list of phones that work with Eclipse. Does anyone know of any other Virgin Mobil phones that will work? thanks, Gary
