  • Shortcodes and Custom Fields

    How do I get shortcodes to process properly in custom fields? I've tried using the code below, but I cannot figure out where to place it ("button" is the name of the field): <?php if ( get_post_meta($post->ID, 'button', true) ) echo do_shortcode(get_post_meta($post->ID, 'button', $single = true)); ?> As of now, the shortcode is working in the sense that the button is displaying, but the shortcode text is displaying where the "buy now" button is supposed to be.     Could I somehow disable action (send, redirect) from submit if the textarea was empty (so nothing at all happens onclick). I want to avoid displaying error here, thats why I'm asking.     My client has requested data to be presented in a graphical format on the iPhone (a pie chart or something similar). I am wondering how others have handled this - A.) deliver the raw data to the phone and somehow build the chart on the phone, or B.) have the back-end services build the chart and deliver it (png format) to the phone?   • Problem running apps fullscreen in emulator

    I've created a device targeting 2.1 and having a screen screen size of 480x800 (WVGA). Some apps, including the one I'm currently writing, as well as the ApiDemos example, won't run fullscreen. I've uploaded a screenshot here: http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/503/emulator.png What could cause something like this? If I run these apps on my HTC Desire (which has the same resolution), they utilize the whole screen like they should.

  • Background is flashing upon load momentarily

    I have a div (.header) contained within other divs. When my page loads, momentarily just that one .header div "flashes" white as the page is loading, especially in in Firefox, but a little bit in IE8 too. I can't find what kind of CSS or lack thereof is causing this - there's no images or background color associated with that div. There is a logo.png within the .header.     I working on a project in Obj-C where i have a base class (ViewController) and a Derived Class (MultiPlayer). Now i have declared certain variables and properties in the base class. My properties are getting accessed from the derived class but im not able to access the variables (int,char and bool type). I'm completely new to Obj-C so i have no clue whats wrong. I have used the data types which are used in C and C++. Is there some specific way to declare variables in Obj-C?? If so, How?   • Repositioning a label with mouseevents to anywhere on the screen

    I've created a label and used setPixmap to attach a .png image to the label. I've also setWindowFlags to disable the title bar and create a frameless window. Because I've disabled those, it also disables the ability to drag anything around, so I want to create mouseevents (unless there's a better method) to position my label anywhere on the screen exactly like dragging the frame of a window. How would I do that? An example and brief explanation would be greatly appreciated.

  • How do I make image hyperlinks have a background image?

    I want all .jpg links to have a certain background image. so a link on a page like 'http://mysite/myimage.jpg' would automatically be prefixed with a small icon. Actually all links to images, ie .gif .png as well with the same icon. If the link is to a website, ie .htm/.php/.html/.asp it should have a different image. I want it to be through classes in CSS. Any help appreciated. TIA
