    I am using the scripts from here http://www.quirksmode.org/js/cookies.html and have successfully created a cookie.. but am having trouble doing anything with it. I would like to have a style defined if a cookie is present.     In the left navigation i have a series of check boxes and a grid view in the page body.Grid view results changes based on the check box selection,whenever i click on the links in grid view it goes to the second page and there is a link on the page which takes me back to the first page,but the check box selected value is maintained for the first time only and if we repeat the same process for the second time and i see that the first time selection of the check box is maintained.Here the grid view is placed in update panel and the check box in the left is called using .... AsyncPostBackTrigger ControlID="cphLeftNavigation". I've tried removing the above code referring the cphLeftNavigation and i see the results are coming up correctly and the last selected check box value is being maintained correctly and i want the same functionality to be implemented with/without update panel. Can anyone let me know,what exactly should i change to implement the above mentioned functionality.

  • Powershell access a single value in a table

    this should be a really easy one but i can't seem to find an easy way. For example, in powershell and am using a CSV file, which is then used to look up some configuration data based on an ID. Here is what I have now, it works, but there has got to be a better way. $configList = import-csv "C:\myconfig.csv" $id = "5001" $configList | where-object {$_.id -eq $id} | foreach-object{ $configData = $_.configData} If use format-table etc, I always get the column header, which I would then have to cut off. Again, this has got to be really easy and this isn't a show stopper. But there has to be a better way to get just the data out of a table without the column header.

    Here is the scenario: On column A each cell has random text within it (names, address, account numbers, etc). Column A extends down to over 40 thousand rows. On column B I have a list of (account) numbers. Column B extends down to about 5 thousand rows. I need to filter column A to show only the rows that contain the account numbers that are part of column B. Neither column A nor B are in any specific order. I think he above scenario speaks for itself, but I can provide a quick example if needed (don't want to over complicate it).

    Hi Everyone: I have an NSWindow that I want to go above the captured kCGDirectMainDisplay when a function is run and have the window go back to its normal level after the display is released. My code works for capturing the display, setting the window's level, and releasing the display, however once the display is released, the window floats above all other windows. I have included my method of doing this, in case I am doing something wrong.   • formatting a column based on another columns cell TEXT not value in excel

    I have dates that are running off a formula in that column based on information it is collecting from other worksheets. I have another column that lists text answers based on a different formula that that column is running. It is a customer list that runs with names going down page and multiple columns of information for each client running across page What i want to do is: If column j says "paid" then turn column m - same row - a color or border or something I will repeat this formula for the various things that j can say, just cant figure out how to make conditional formatting read j to change m. To complicate things, in addition to the formula running to collect the date in m, there is also a conditional format set up for m that changes the color of the cells after a certain date. I want to be able to keep that formula, in addition to the one that you are assisting with...i will use highlighting, or something different to avoid any conflicts.

    I'm creating a pivot table by connecting to an SSAS tabular model (Data - From Other Sources - From Analysis Services) . The model has a "time" column that I want to sort by. The default (database) sorting is earliest to latest: When I click the triangle next to 'Row Labels' and select "Sort A to Z", I get alphabetically sorted times: How can I get the times to sort by time? Changing the number format from "General" to "Time" does nothing. The times aren't stored as text either - the data type of the column in the SSAS model is Auto (Date)

    I'm attempting to avoid introducing any dependencies between my Data layer and client code that makes use of this layer, but am running into some problems when attempting to do this with Mongo (using the MongoRepository) MongoRepository shows examples where you create Types that reflect your data structure, and inherit Entity where required. Eg. [CollectionName("track")] public class Track : Entity { public string name { get; set; } public string hash { get; set; } public Artist artist { get; set; } public List<Publish> published {get; set;} public List<Occurence> occurence {get; set;} } In order to make use of these in my client code, I'd like to replace the Mongo-specific types with Interfaces, e.g: [CollectionName("track")] public class Track : Entity, ITrackEntity { public string name { get; set; } public string hash { get; set; } public IArtistEntity artist { get; set; } public List<IPublishEntity> published {get; set;} public List<IOccurenceEntity> occurence {get; set;} } However, the Mongo driver doesn't know how to treat these interfaces, and I understandably get the following error: An error occurred while deserializing the artist property of class sf.data.mongodb.entities.Track: No serializer found for type sf.data.IArtistEntity. --- MongoDB.Bson.BsonSerializationException: No serializer found for type sf.data.IArtistEntity. Does anyone have any suggestions about how I should approach this?
