    I am looking for a way to add a button to a JQuery buttonset at runtime with javascript. if(response.success) { var menuItem = document.createElement('a'); $(menuItem).attr('href', response.href); $(menuItem).attr('category-id', response.id); $(menuItem).text(title); $("#menu-buttonset").append(menuItem); } I am adding the hyperlink to the div container of the buttonset using javascript, and then re-calling buttonset() on the container. $("#menu-buttonset").buttonset(); This however does not seem to rebuild the buttonset as I expected. I am not seeing any function in the JQuery API for this either. Can anyone provide some insight?

    I'm trying to register a dynamic broadcast receiver using the following: BroadcastReceiver connectivityReceiver = new ConnectivityChangeIntentReceiver(); IntentFilter connectivityFilter = new IntentFilter(); filter.addAction(WifiManager.NETWORK_STATE_CHANGED_ACTION); filter.addAction(android.net.ConnectivityManager.CONNECTIVITY_ACTION); myApplicationContext.registerReceiver(connectivityReceiver, connectivityFilter); but I see my ConnectivityChangeIntentReceiver.onReceive method is not called when I turn off Wifi through settings or change to airplane mode. Has anyone faced a similar problem? I do not want to statically register the receiver in the Manifest file, as I don't want my app to be started by connectivity changes.

  • Implementation help... Subclass NSManagedObject?

    I'm working on an app where I have some products that I download in a list. The downloaded products are displayed in a table and each will is showing a detail view with more information. These same products can be saved as a favorite, and for this I am using Core Data. I'd like to be able to re-use a bunch of views for displaying the products, which means the stores object and the downloaded object would have to be the same kind. Now, how would I go about best implementing the objects? Can I make a class such as this: FavoriteProduct : NSManageObject // implementation and then subclass Product : FavoriteProduct // implementation ? The CD class just doesn't give me everything. What would be the best way to merge these two object classes so I have as little work ahead of me in terms of implementing the different views for each object? Basically, I just want to be able to call the same methods, etc. on the Product objects as I would on the ones that are FavoriteProduct objects, and re-use views for both kinds. There's only a bit of difference between the two (one is of course stored as a favorite and has some extra values such as notes, tags, while the Product one doesn't). Thanks in advance

  • Append all logs to /var/log

    Application scenario: I have the (normal/permanent) /var/log mounted on an encrypted partition (/dev/LVG/log). /dev/LVG/log is not accessible at boot time, it needs to be manually activated later by su from ssh. A RAM drive (using tmpfs) is mounted to /var/log at init time (in rc.local). Once /dev/LVG/log is activated, I need a good way of appending everything in the tmpfs to /dev/LVG/log, before mounting it as /var/log. Any recommendations on what would be a good way of doing so?   • Would like help with LOGON Trigger

    I've created a logon trigger in MS SQL that needs to check dm_exec_sessions for a login. This login is the user listed in the connection string and has owner right to the database. If the login is verified, I need it to update a specific table and send an email. So far I've done just the following piece and it disabled my web site. The error I get is: "Logon failed for login 'dev' due to trigger execution. Changed database context to 'mydatabase'. Changed language setting to us_english." Any idea what I did wrong?     Hi All, Let me explain my scenarios I have branch called ca-dev and its pretty stable,now I have to revert about 100 revisions (ca-dev has about 400 revisions checked in total after it branched out )from different users which were checked in over 4 months before I am branching new branch called agile-dev.Can any body help me best way to do... I tried using tortise svn some got reverted some I got conflicts and I resolved my self blindly so build is breaking. (ofcourse I made a agile-dev-temp) .. any tool better than tortisesvn easily I can view myself and clearly explains. Or who should do it Individual developer? Thanks

  • resignFirstResponder when tapping UITableView?

    I have a UITableView with two custom cells and each of them has a subview with a UITextField inside it. I have tried adding a UIButton on top of the UITableView and have it resignFirstResponder but that just means you won't be able to tap anywhere else - not even on the UITextFields to enter text. How do I make it so if I tap outside those two UITextFields, I can call resignFirstResponder, so the user can get back to the other cells? Thanks

  • IE font size decrease does not cause select box height to decrease

    I have a font resize function on my page which increases the font size via javascript for the entire page. This works fine in most browsers except IE. When decreasing the font size after increasing it, the select boxes new height does not decrease, even though the font size is decreasing on it. Instead the smaller font appears to be padded with white space. Any ideas as to what IE is doing here, and a work around?

I read similar posts like mine on stackoverflow.com and most of them suggested removing repetitive "jquery.unobtrusive-ajax.min.js" calss in page, but as I saw the output page I only see on link to the "jquery.unobtrusive-ajax.min.js" script.

    Just something I'd like to play with, I would like to create a "virtual" file/directory in the File System of Linux or Mac OS X (Not sure if I can share the same code - does POSIX help?), for example /foo and then perform custom code when something is read or written to it. Similar how /dev/null allows for stuff like echo "Hello!" > /dev/null I don't care if it's in /dev, /proc or anywhere else, as said it's mainly something to play with...

  • h:selectOneMenu not populating a 'selected' item

    I'm having trouble with an h:selectOneMenu not having a selected item when there is already something set on the backing bean. I am using seam and have specified a customer converter. When working on my 'creation' page, everything works fine, something from the menu can be selected, and when the page is submitted, the correct value is assigned and persisted to the database as well. However when I work on my 'edit' page the menu's default selection is not the current selection. i have gone through and confirmed that something is definitely set etc. My selectOneMenu looks like this: <h:selectOneMenu id="selVariable" value="#{customer.variableLookup}" converter="#{variableLookupConverter}"> <s:selectItems var="source" value="#{customerReferenceHelper.variableLookups()}" label="#{source.name}" /> </h:selectOneMenu> And the converter is below.   • Git: How do I rewind the Master branch on the remote origin

    I made 5 commits to Master branch when bug hunting on a private project and pushed them to the remote origin (my own private vps). Then I saw that commits 4 and 5 were going to cause trouble elsewhere and I need to undo them, so I checked out commit 3 again, made a new branch "Dev" from that point, and did a few more commits fixing the issue properly. Then I did git reset --hard HEAD~2 on Master to pull it back to the point that I branched Dev. Then I did git merge to fast forward Master back to the end of the Dev branch. So now I have a local repository, with Dev and Master both pointing to the same, up to date version of the project with the latest bug fix. Problem is, when I try to push the project now to the origin, it fails and gives me an error message: ! [rejected] master - master (non-fast forward) error: failed to push some refs to 'myserver...myproject.git' What have I done wrong, and how do I fix it? Thanks

  • iOS dynamic object creation

    I've worked with Xcode and iOS on a few personal projects and have always used non-object-oriented designs for everything... just because I've been doing mostly learning/experimenting with things. Now I've been trying to implement some object oriented design into one game I've made previously. The idea is, I have a space ship that can shoot bullets. In the past I basically added the UIImageView to the storyboard and then connected it to the .h file and from there did things on it like move it around or whatever (using CGPointMake). The idea now is to make a method (and a whole other class soon) that will create a UIImageView programmatically, allocate it, add it to the superview etc... I've got this working so far, easy stuff, but the next part is a bit harder. Where do I store this local variable "bullet"? I've been saving it to an NSMutableArray and doing the following: (actually here are the methods that I have) -(void)movement { for (int i = 0; i < [array1 count]; i ++) { UIImageView *a = [array1 objectAtIndex:i]; a.center = CGPointMake(a.center.x + 2, a.center.y); if (a.center.x > 500) { [array1 removeObjectAtIndex:i]; [a removeFromSuperview]; } } } -(void)getBullet { UIImageView *bullet = [[UIImageView alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(ship.center.x + 20, ship.center.y - 2, 15, 3)]; bullet.image = [UIImage imageNamed:@"bullet2.png"]; bullet.hidden = NO; [self.view addSubview:bullet]; [array1 addObject:bullet]; } (by the way, array1 is declared in the .h file) and theres a timer that controls the movement method timer = [NSTimer scheduledTimerWithTimeInterval:0.5 target:self selector:@selector(movement) userInfo:nil repeats:YES]; first question is: what is the correct way of doing this? Storing a bullet for example until it is removed from the superview, should I store it another way? and another question is, when I remove a UIImageView from the superview, does that remove it from memory so its not using up system resources?
