• Javascript Animation Toogle

  I am new to JavaScript (I had some lessons in school but those were basically basics of all basics :) ) and I am seeking for help with this animation made from scratch. Here is a code that I wrote: http://jsfiddle.net/bPZeH/1/. What it basically does is that it animates height of one div. What I would like to know is, how to write the function startAnimation(), so that if I click on the div while it is being animated, it will reverse animation (for instance: instead of animating height from 150px to 400px it will stop at the current value and then animate back to 150px). I basically want to make toogle from one value to the other. It would also be okay if it were able to toogle only after the animation has finished, but I would prefer the first option. • Custom CSS menu, "Active" tab remains on 'Home' not the actual page

  I created this custom css menu, but when switching tabs, the "Active" tab design remains on the 'Home' link on the menu, rather than the actual page I'm on. Any idea how I an fix this? A few things to point out is that the title is coming from a variable escape(global_Current_ProductCode) variable=productcode in the case above it is LB30X40ES The height and weight, price and product id used in the second markup must be from the first markup. Note that these change depending on the product loaded. These are not constants. I would guess the first thing to do was to add the thickbox class. Then I am lost as to what to do next. Basically I need to open up an thickbox iframe with the modified markup.

• How can I get a Dialog style activity window to fill the screen?

  I am using an activity with the dialog theme set, and I want it to be full screen. I tried all sorts of things, even going through the WindowManager to expand the window to full width and height manually, but nothing works. Apparently, a dialog window (or an activity with the dialog theme) will only expand according to its contents, but even that doesn't always work. For instance, I show a progress bar circle which has width and height set to FILL_PARENT (so does its layout container), but still, the dialog wraps around the much smaller progress bar instead of filling the screen. There must be a way of displaying something small inside a dialog window but have it expand to full screen size without its content resizing as well?

  I have multiple instances of typedef struct box so box box1, box box2 etc. The members of the struct are length, width, height etc. typedef struct { int width; int height; } box; box box1; box box2; How can I create a function that operates on all the width members of each box instance? My confusion is how do I pass a pointer to a typedef struct member that works across all instances of box. I know how to pass a pointer to a specific instance member like box1.width but how to pass .width and then do box1.width=value; box2.width=value; box3.width=value; within the function?

• [FLEX 3] Placing images into a Collage Canvas

  I've got an array of different sized images. I want to place these images on a canvas in a sort of automated collage. Does anyone have an idea of how to work the logic behind this concept? All my images have heights divisible by 36 pixels and widths divisible by 9 pixels. They have mouseDown functions that allow you to drag and drop. When dropped the image goes to the closest x point divisible by 9 and y point divisble by 36. There is a grid drawn on top of the canvas. I've sorted the array of images based on height, then based on their widths. imagesArray.sortOn("height", Array.NUMERIC | Array.DESCENDING); imagesArray.sortOn("width", Array.NUMERIC | Array.DESCENDING); I'd like to take the largest image ( imageArray[0] ) to put in corner x,y = 0,0. Then randomize the rest of the images and fit them into the collage canvas.

• Getting the size of an opening window in WebKit

  Hi, I'm implementing a "WebKit Browser In An Application" which basically embeds WebViews in Qt widgets (we're using the WebKit browser instead of Qt's since it's stabler and more up-to-date). So far everything's great, until someone clicks on a link which invokes a Javascript "Window.open" function with a custom width and height for the new window. I've set the various delegates for the parent window: setFrameLoadDelegate, setResourceLoadDelegate, setPolicyDelegate, and setUIDelegate. I am getting a createWebViewWithRequest in the UI delegate as expected when the window opens (with a null request, as others have noted). I then get a decidePolicyForNavigationAction for the new window, but it doesn't have the proposed window's width or height. I NEVER get a decidePolicyForNewWindowAction for JavaScript window.open (also noted by others). So I'm at a loss. Is there a way to get this information so I can set the Qt Widget's size correctly?

  Pretty much I want the query to select all records of users that are 25 years old AND are either between 150-170cm OR 190-200cm. I have this query written down below. However the problem is it keeps getting 25 year olds OR people who are 190-200cm instead of 25 year olds that are 150-170 OR 25 year olds that 190-200cm tall.   I have an anonymous function to detect the user has scrolled to the bottom of the window. Inside of the anonymous function, I have a call to a database that takes a while to complete. var allowing_more = 1; $(window).scroll(function() { if (allowing_more == 1){ if ($(window).scrollTop() + $(window).height() == $(document).height()) { allowing_more = 0; //query allowing_more = 1; } } }); In this time, if the user scrolls to the bottom of the window again, it seems a queue is made holding the occurences the user scrolled to the bottom of the window while the query was loading. Upon completing of the query, these occurences are then executed. I have a boolean statement to detect if the anonymous function is accepting more query requests but this seems to be ignored. Is there some sort of way to ignore an anonymous function temporarily and re-enable it?

  I have few buttons on my jsp page and I am using the style as : .buttonblue { background-color: #003366; border-color: #99CCFF; color: #FFFFFF; font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica; font-size: 8pt; font-weight: bold; height: 20px; display:inline; line-height: 1.2; text-align: center; margin-top: 2px; } In Firefox the buttons are bit smaller than IE6. I can not define the size of buttons as the caption changes the button size changes accordingly. I tried with width:auto but no success. Also, with overflow:visible the buttons in IE becomes bit smaller. Please help.

I have testing if the page is recognizing the script using the alert function, but the script is not executing. • Javascript + IFrame + Chrome + Https = strange issue

  Using a modal plugin for jquery, I'm opening an iframe in a modal with a click event and setting the source attribute to a relative url (should be within https). The page containing the click is an authenticated ssl page. In IE and Safari, this works as expected. In Chrome and Firefox, the source url is opened in http not https. If I set the source to an absolute url using https, same result.
