  I'm trying to adopt my development from Spring/Maven2/Tomcat -> Grails, and I'm wondering if there's an easy way to manage dependencies in grails separate from maven. Maven does a lot of the magic that grails is doing automatically (unit testing/building/etc.), so I wonder if there's a need for maven at all in grails projects. So, then, how do Grails users generally manage java dependencies? I've become accustomed to central repository dependency management, and I can't turn back at this point.

WebSphere MQ is currently not working due to the following issue: WebSphere MQ service runs under local user "MUSR_MQADMIN" in the local group "mqm" I attempt to use the service using my own account, BIZ\noahz MUSR_MQADMIN needs to check if BIZ\noahz is in local group "mqm" MUSR_MQADMIN does not have permission to read the Active Directory group membership of BIZ\noahz The following error appears in the MQ log file: ----- amqzfubn.c : 3582 ------------------------------------------------------- 1/31/2011 18:51:32 - Process(704.1105) User(MUSR_MQADMIN) Program(amqzlaa0.exe) AMQ8079: Access was denied when attempting to retrieve group membership information for user 'noahz@biz'. • Domain Controllers group not reflected in domain controllers credentials

  I set up a small testlab in vbox consisting of four servers. Two domain controllers dc01, dc02, one offline root ca and one online enterprise sub ca, ca01. All servers are based on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard. Everything works as excpected except one thing. If I issue a certificate template with read, enroll and autoenroll rights to the security group "domain controllers" it does not let dc01 or dc02 to enumerate or enroll for the certificate. I've restarted both domain controllers several times to update their credential tokens with the correct group memberhips. So I added dc01 to the "domain computers" group and gave that group read, enroll and autoenroll rights in the template, bam, the certificate was issued. So my question is, why isn't the domain controllers group memberhips reflected in the domain controllers (dc01 and dc02) credentials? Can I view the computers credentials somehow and how should I go about trying to resolve the issue?

  I restarted my slave to change configuration settings to skip reverse hostname lookup on connecting and to enable the slow query log. I edited /etc/my.cnf making only these changes, then restarted mysqld with /etc/init.d/mysql restart All appeared to be well but when I connect to msyqld remotely or locally though it connects okay a slight problem is that mysqld crashes whenever you try to issue any kind of statement.   I have a VPS running Windows Web Server 2008 R2. I'm able to connect using Remote Desktop from my home PC (Windows 7), personal laptop (Windows 7), and work laptop (Windows XP). However, I cannot connect from my work PC (Windows 7). I receive the error "The logon attempt failed" in the RDP client, and the server event log shows "An account failed to log on" with this explanation: Subject: Security ID: NULL SID Account Name: - Account Domain: - Logon ID: 0x0 Logon Type: 3 Account For Which Logon Failed: Security ID: NULL SID Account Name: username Account Domain: hostname Failure Information: Failure Reason: Unknown user name or bad password. Status: 0xc000006d Sub Status: 0xc0000064 Process Information: Caller Process ID: 0x0 Caller Process Name: - Network Information: Workstation Name: JESSE-PC Source Network Address: - Source Port: - Detailed Authentication Information: Logon Process: NtLmSsp Authentication Package: NTLM Transited Services: - Package Name (NTLM only): - Key Length: 0 I can connect from the offending work PC if I start up Windows XP Mode and use the RDP client inside that. The server is part of a domain but my account is local, so I'm logging in using a username of the form hostname\username. None of the clients are part of a domain. The server uses a self-signed certificate, and connecting from home I get a warning about that, but connecting from work I just get the logon error.
