    I'm looking to build a web application that allows a person to select a plan and fill out an application for that plan. There are multiple plans and each plan generates a different application. Some of the questions are identical such as fields related to personal information. I'm thinking of using ASP.NET MVC to build this web application.     Hello, I have a form (with post method) that takes the following input: - a certain name - a number - 3 checkboxes All this input gets generated and calculated in a table.(html code within the php) Everything gets properly calculated and displayed in a table. So my question: How do i make it possible after giving all those input to give in more input? Meaning i have made a hyperlink that goes back to the form itself (where i can give the input). So i can give in new data, and after submiting that again the table now contains 2 rows of values insteed of just 1. Not really sure what exactly i need for this. Regards.

  • Best way of obfuscating / encrypting form data on the iPhone

    I want to create an app which holds sensitive information (imagine it's bank account details, thought it's not). The user enters this information on a form the first time the app starts up. I want this info to be saved, and available, any time the user uses the app (without having to enter a password). However, if the iPhone has a password lock on it, and is stolen, I don't want the data to be easily accessible from the file system. What is the best way of encrypting or obfuscating the data? There is not a lot of data, just a dozen NSStrings from the UITextFields on the form. I'm aware there are encryption export restrictions on the iPhone for non-US developers (I am in UK), so I would prefer to avoid going jumping through any of Apple's app submission hoops to get it on the store.

    I have an Entry model which can belong to a Category.I am providing a CategoryChoicesForm sothat the user can choose from various Categorys (from a dropdown list)when an Entry is created or edited. My question is ultimately should all forms represent models- should the database be redesigned to meet this required. Or should the controller set the values that are not required. Or should there be another model that represents the form be created which maps to this table. I am a little confused on this and clarification of anyone would be most appreciated.

But by reflex, they often hit enter when they finish with a text input box - but before they are actually done with the complete form. I'd like to hijack the Enter key only when then focus is on a certain class of input.     Hi, What exactly the definition of a "Lisp form"? As far as I know, it's "either an atom or a list that has a symbol as its first element". But then, this (in Scheme) would not be a form: ((lambda () 42)) ;; The answer to Life, the Universe and Everything. Because the first element of the list is itself another list. And after it's evaluated it will be a procedure (not a symbol). I can find several different websites and tutorials talking about Lisp forms, but none which gives a complete and detailed definition. Where can I find one?

    I'm creating a windows app in c# 2008 that will have around 8-10 dialog boxes. I want these forms to exist throughout the life of the program. Where's the best place to create and store the objects? I'm coming from Delphi, where Form objects were usually stored in global variables. I'm tempted to do it in the static Program class. Should I put them in the main form instead? Thanks for helping a C# newb out.

    hello im trying to make a simple page with search engine. i read, that if i want to implement autocomplete/autosuggest with form, i have to use ajax. thats ok for me. there are a lot solutions on the intenret, but unfortunetly all of them is the same script :/ and thats fine for me :) but i want to go further. i want to show autosuggest results in table for example below search form. the data is stored in a simple array (eventualy, source mysql) i know that kind of script isnt easy to write, so i ask you to give me a hint or something. trivial solution is use php, but this needs submit button. help, im stuck :)

    My question is "How can I do form repeated validation in Entity with annotation?". I have an Account entity with (email, password and confirmPassword) attributes. When a new user registers a new account, he/she has to fill in email, password and confirmPassword fields. Obviously, password and confirmPassword fields must match. I saw an example of this validation with pure php (form builder) in Stachoverflow like below. $builder->add('password', 'repeated', array( 'type' => 'password', 'first_name' => 'Password', 'second_name' => 'Password confirmation', 'invalid_message' => 'Passwords are not the same', )); But, this is not what I want. I want this functionality with annotation in my Account entity.     I understand that you do something like: $('form').append('<input type="text" name="color-1" value="Hello" />'); But I have two questions about it. First off, I don't want it added to the end of the form, but after the last input in the "color" section. Secondly, where "name=color-1", I need the one to increment if they want to add more than one input, you know? So that I can process it on the server. Any ideas?

  • How to resubmit PHP form with javascript

    I am wondering if it is possible to to resubmit a form with a button click that calls up a javascript command. So this is basically what I'm trying to do - page 1: form; action = page2.php page 2: generate a randomized list according to parameters set by page 1 I would like to place a button on page 2 so that on click, it would be as if the user has hit F5, and a new list would be generated with the same parameters. I found a lot of help on Google with people trying NOT to get this to happen, but I'm not sure how to actually get it to happen..... Thank you!

  • ASP.NET: Dynamically enable or disable RequiredFieldValidator based on value of DropDownList

    I have an ASP.NET form with three text inputs, one each for "Work Phone", "Home Phone" and "Cell Phone". Each of these text inputs has a RequiredFieldValidator associated with it. I also have a DropDownList where the user can select the preferred phone type. I want to only require the field that is selected in the DropDownList. For example, if the user selects "Work Phone" from the DropDownList, I want to disable the RequiredFieldValidator for "Home Phone" and "Cell Phone", thereby only making the "Work Phone" field required. I have a method that enables and disables these validators based on the value of the DropDownList, but I cannot figure out when to call it. I want this method to run before the validation takes place on the page. How would I do that? Let me know if you need any more information. Thanks.
