    Hello, is it possible to decorate a field of a LINQ generated class with [Column(IsDbGenerated=true)] using a buddy class (which is linked to the LINQ class via [MetadataType(typeof(BuddyMetadata))]) ? My goal is to be able to clear and repopulate the LINQ ORM designer without having to set the "Auto Generate Value" property manually every time to re-establish the fact that certain columns are autogenerated.     I have a J2EE application that has a lot of reports, the situation now is the following: Report filters' values are sent to the application over DWR mainly, the data are retrieved from Oracle DB throw DB procedures and returned back to the client. However, some customization is required every now and then (new data filters, columns, ordering, ...), and these changes are painful to implement since we need to modify the JSPs, DB Procedures, the application itself, ... What API do you recommend to use for such reports?

    I'm trying to write from a loop to a data frame in R, for example a loop like this for (i in 1:20) { print(c(i+i,i*i,i/1))} and to write each line of 3 values to a data frame with three columns, so that each iteration takes on a new row. I've tried using matrix, with ncol=3 and filled by rows, but only get the last item from the loop. Thanks.

    Hi All I have a report that groups by Company names. I have 2 formula fields (for two of the columns) that pulls the last record from a field. However, i noticed that when i run my reports, it does not show the last record for every group (even though this total line is in the Group Footer). Is there anyway in the formula field, i can specify that the last record must show for every group in my report?

The template automatically adds an AccountController, but its account methods tie into a SQL Server Express entity. I don't have Express installed here. How can I reconfigure it to use my SQL Server 2008 database and to store user info in some columns in a User table I've already created?

    Im trying to do a 2 column layout where the left column is very long vertically, and the right column is very long horizontally. When I scroll vertically, I want to move up and down the left column while the right one stays fixed. When I scroll horizontally, both columns move left-right (normal behaviour) I hope this drawing explain it more (sorry for the bad quality): Is this possible to do using only css? If not, how can I do it with javascript? Thanks

If I click "Add New" button, it creates a new row in datagridview automatically, and If I leave that new row by clicking a different row. datagridview invokes "commit" or something. so the question is How do I make datagridview not to commit adding a new row when I leave the cell?

    When I try to create a unique index on a large table, I get a unique contraint error. The unique index in this case is a composite key of 4 columns. Is there an efficient way to identify the duplicates other than : select col1, col2, col3, col4, count() from Table1 group by col1, col2, col3, col4 having count() 1 The explain plan above shows full table scan with extremely high cost, and just want to find if there is another way.
