• Migrating JSF 1.2 to 2.x resulted in java.lang.NullPointerException at com.sun.faces.config.InitFacesContext.cleanupInitMaps

  I'm in process of migrating a JSF 1.2 application to JSF 2.x. My application is using the following APIs: maven-jetty-plugin (version 6.1.10) maven-compiler-plugin (version 2.3.1) myfaces-api & -impl (version 1.2.7) jsf-facelets (version 1.1.14) richfaces (version 3.3.3) javax servlet jstl (version 1.2) javax servlet-api (version 2.5) and some other plugins as well. I updated the versions in faces-config.xml file and removed Facelets 1.1.14 libs and replaced MyFaces 1.2 by JSF 2.x libs, however the application didn't work. It was working fine until I did the following: Logged into 'Parallels Infrastructure Manager' - Container - Firewall - Set to 'Normal Firewall settings'. It told me there was an error with the IPTables and offered the option again with a checkbox to 'reset' firewall settings, I selected this. I can see that that the default rules are been applied ( anything from anyone on any port and allowing anything to happen). • jQuery ajax() function is ignoring dataType parameter in Firefox

  I'm trying to use jQuery.ajax() to fetch some html, but Firefox is giving me a "junk after document element" error message. As explained here and here the problem seems to be that Firefox is expecting XML from the server, and when it doesn't parse correctly it throws the error. Here's my ajax code: jQuery.ajax({ url: name, dataType: "html", success: function(result) { console.log(result); }, error: function (jqXHR, textStatus, errorThrown) { console.log(errorThrown); } }); The server returns the html with these response headers: Accept-Ranges bytes Content-Length 2957 Last-Modified Tue, 02 Jul 2013 16:16:59 GMT Note that there's no content-type header. I'm sure that adding one would solve the problem, but that's not an option. The real problem is that Firefox appears to be ignoring the dataType: parameter in the ajax call. I've also tried adding contentType: and accepts: parameters, but it doesn't help. What am I missing here? How do I force Firefox to process the response as plain text?

  I'm writing a C# DKIM validator and have come across a problem that I cannot solve. Right now I am working on calculating the body hash, as described in Section 3.7 Computing the Message Hashes. I am working with emails that I have dumped using a modified version of EdgeTransportAsyncLogging sample in the Exchange 2010 Transport Agent SDK. Instead of converting the emails when saving, it just opens a file based on the MessageID and dumps the raw data to disk. (Really, the rules for Body Canonicalization are quite ... simple.) Here is the real DKIM email with a signature using the simple algorithm (with only unneeded headers cleaned up). Now, using the above code and updating the expectedBase64 hash I get the following results: Expected hash: VnGg12/s7xH3BraeN5LiiN+I2Ul/db5/jZYYgt4wEIw= Computed hash: ISNNtgnFZxmW6iuey/3Qql5u6nflKPTke4sMXWMxNUw= Are equal: False The expected hash is the value from the bh= field of the DKIM-Signature header. Now, the file used in the second test is a direct raw output from the Exchange 2010 Transport Agent. If so inclined, you can view the modified EdgeTransportLogging.txt. At this point, no matter how I modify the second email, changing the start position or number of CRLF at the end of the file I cannot get the files to match. What worries me is that I have been unable to validate any body hash so far (simple or relaxed) and that it may not be feasible to process DKIM through Exchange 2010.

See image below: Desired Functionality When I tie the functionality into my single page application using the same code I get a sort of blocking issue where all requests are responded to only after the last task has completed. In the test app above all request are responded to in order. The server reports a ("pending") state for all requests until the controller method has completed. Can anyone give me a hint as to what could cause the change in behavior? • Task scheduler ran a task twice

  Update: This has now happened two days in a row. Update: XML of scheduled tasks and images now included. Two servers located in London, both Windows 2012, have a scheduled task set to run at 3pm Monday to Friday. This has been set up for the last 5 months without a problem. However, on Monday the 28th of August they both ran the scheduled task at 3pm and then again at 4pm. When it was first reported, I thought it was too much of a coincidence to be the day after the clocks had gone back an hour. However, I’m failing in being able to explain why it has happened and if it is related to the clock change at all. I've now updated the php file that is run by the scheduler to not actually do anything whilst I'm going through trying to solve this. I'm planning on restarting one server to see if this changes anything tomorrow. 30 October 08:25 - Update - When exporting the task XML I remembered that I hadn't included the fact that the scheduled task on second server was created by importing the XML of the task created on the first. The only difference between the two tasks is the path of the php file they are executing and the user account that they are running as.

• rsync over ssh is not working anymore, while ssh itself is working fine (Write failed: broken pipe)

  This issue started happening after i changed router. This is the scenario: Windows7 Host Ubuntu 10.04 Guest (VirtualBox) Ubuntu 10.04 remote server What i used to do is run a very basic rsync command: rsync -avz --delete /local/path/ username@host:/path/to/remote/directory This worked perfect until i did change adsl provider, and i changed router aswell: now, this happens: rsync on Ubuntu Guest is not working anymore (to any random server), if using this new router rsync on Ubuntu Guest is WORKING, if i switch back to old router i tried a new virtual box ubuntu install, and the command is WORKING with both the routers So, the not-working-combo is oldUbuntu + newRouter. To get things worst, i can state that (on the not-working ubuntu) i ping the remote host plain ssh connection to the remote host is working fine (i can auth, connect, and do stuff on the remote host) • How to Integrate SharePoint 2007/2010 and Google Apps?

  Hello All, My (smaller) company has an existing Google Apps Deployment, used for E-Mail / Calendar, etc. I'm looking into a SharePoint setup (2010 most likely). One of the best features is that new events are added to one's Outlook Calendar, e-mails can be sent automatically, etc. Naturally, this works best out-of-the-box with Exchange. I know I can add my own OpenID login system via an OpenID provider for SharePoint and get my users into the system. My question is, can anyone recommend the best way to go about making sure that events automatically find their way into users' calendars and e-mails on the Google Apps system? This would enable us to deploy SharePoint without worrying about migrating our e-mail system to Exchange first (Google Apps is more cost-effective for our needs and I'm required to keep it.) • Is a new thread in a Visual Studio test project aborted when the test ends?

  Hi, i have to do some message exchange with a 3rd party (in a website). When the client posts a page, i start the message exchange. When that doesn't succeed for some reason, i report this to the client by rendering the page with a message. On the background, in a separate thread, i start a process to send abort messages to the 3rd party. I can't do this while the user is waiting for the page to come back, because it might take a few minutes. But in a test project, the test ends when the message to the 3rd party is sent, and after the new thread is started. But it seems that the new thread also ends, when the test is done. Is that normal behaviour? I do start the thread in a new class with a reference to 2 objects from the class which tries to send the message in the first place, may that be a problem?

• OpenSSH connection trouble

  Hi, I'm trying to use Putty 0.60 to log in to an OpenSSH 5.3 server. Connections with openssh from another Linux server are possible, but Putty fails. Putty's event log tells me "software caused connection abort" right after the DH key exchange, the server log doesn't report anything (set to INFO). I analyzed the traffic with Wireshark and got a whole bunch of "TCP retransmission" and "TCP DUP ACK" after said key exchange. Sometimes I was able to log in, but at some point (usually < 2 min.) the connection froze without any logged messages. Sadly, I didn't capture a trace. The server is my own (Funtoo with genkernel and gentoo-sources 2.6.34), so I may tweak it, but I'd still like to know what causes the error. Any suggestions? Thank you!

• WAMP server suddenly stopped running scripts

  I have been working on a website for some months now. Every day, I open up the PHP scripts in the same manner, and every day they work just fine. Today, I go to open one up the same as I always do, except the page just comes up as the text file. All pages are the same, I have not changed most of them for many weeks now. WAMP is giving me no errors. I just installed the latest version, and it still won't work. There is no problem with file extensions, The only problem I can find is in the Apache Error Log: [Fri Oct 25 10:42:40.029691 2013] [mime:warn] [pid 4860:tid 1508] AH01599: Cannot get media type from 'x-httpd-php53' What does this mean?

• Get Category in Wordpress Post

  OK I have a standard post here: http://www.ticketyoda.co.uk/concerts/rihanna-tickets/rihanna-tickets-manchester-2013-06-12-united-kingdom/970 I am trying to make each post unique and contain the category information for both the city (Manchester) and the Artist (Rihanna). At the moment the box underneath the venue contains the information taken from the category (see breadcrumb). So I have 1 out of 2. What I need now is for an extra box below to show the category information for the Artist. I use : <?php $category = get_the_category(); echo $category[0]->category_description; ?> to get the first category.   Our stock exchange going to implement FAST messaging in their system in order to reduced the bandwidth usage. We have already implement the FIX based application to trade with Stock exchange. In future we need implement FIX FAST in our application to communicate with them. I found that OPEN FAST is FAST based library. But I do not have any idea how to start with it. • CFEXCHANGECONNECTION error when username changes.

  We are attempting to connect to an Exchange server through CFEXCHANGECONNECTION on ColdFusion 9 to retrieve email. We can connect with a number of users. However, some users cannot connect. We end up with the following error: Cannot access Exchange server as a web application at <server> It turns out that the users who cannot connect either have a ampersand in there username or they have changed there username with CFLDAP. So, if I perform a CFLDAP on a working user and change the userPrincipalName and sAMAccountName the user will begin getting the error above. If I change it back to what it was to start with, the error will go away. Any ideas? EDIT The ampersand part seems to be misleading. Essentially we found the problem because of the ampersand. However, for working users who did not have an ampersand, the error will begins showing up if their username is changed to something that does not have an ampersand.

Actions taken: Downloaded and installed the dotTrace Profiler 5.5 from the JetBrains website Downloaded the dotTrace.Performance.Remote version 5.5.0 from Nuget Published the website to WAWS via Visual Studio 2013 Started the dotTrace application as Administrator Connected to the remote _https://subdomain.azurwebsites.net/AgentService.asmx.
