    Hi, I have an array like this $arr = array('name' => 'John', 'address' => 'IInd Street', 'state' => '', 'country' => 'US'); I want to display the values as John, IInd Street, US (ie, If any value is empty, I don't want to display comma and break over there) I could able to display this with the following code $values = implode(',', $arr); echo $str = implode(',<br />',array_filter(explode(',', $values))); Is there any better way to do this ?

Would MySQL support correlating the data or do I need to use PHP/C# to calcuate? Where would I find a good formula to calculate correlation (it's been a long time since I last did this)?

    I have a UITableView where a selection displays some cool stuff in another part of the display. I tried to fake a keypress by writing: NSIndexPath *ip = [NSIndexPath indexPathForRow: 1 inSection:0]; [tableView selectRowAtIndexPath:ip animated:NO scrollPosition:UITableViewScrollPositionTop ]; [self tableView:tableView didSelectRowAtIndexPath:ip]; However it seems the last line is not being run. How can I make it run?

  • Visual C++: breakpoints disabled

    I have a 'release with debug info' unmanaged c++ .exe (built with VS2005) deployed onto another PC, the .exe and .pdb are in the same folder. When I try to attach to the process from VS2005, either locally or remotely from my dev PC, all my breakpoints become disabled. I don't get any warning/error popups which makes me think the PDB file is being found, but not seen as 'good'. Is that the right interpretation? I think if it couldn't see the PDB I'd get a "no debug information could be found" popup. Has anyone got any ideas what can be wrong?

  • dijit hovering MenuItem issue

    I have a dijit.layout.TabContainer on my form. I resize the browser window in such a way that all tabs won't fit in a single screen. In this case dijit automatically adds a drop-down button at the right end of the TabContainer (I get this for free). If I click on the drop-down button then I get the full List of Tab Names. Hovering over the List of Tab Names (which is in fact a collection of menu items) it blanks out the menu item name which I'm currently over. e.g. Full List: Tab1 Tab2 Tab3 Hovering over Tab2 I get: Tab1 Tab3 I get the same issue with any other dijit.Menu, dijit.MenuItem AND I get the same issue on IE, Firefox, Chrome. I haven't tested on any other browser. Thanks.

  • Visual Studio 2008 patching without suppressing database

    Hi, I made a program using visual c# which connects to a local .mdf sql database. I've published it using the Publish Wizard, used the files on another computer to install it and it worked fine. However, some bugs were discovered. I've corrected the problems, published it again and tried to patch the program on the 2nd computer. After much trials and errors, fastest way to patch is to overwrite the .application file. Suprisingly, the database was also overwritten. Question is: How do I make new version of the program and install it on the other computer without modifying the database? On developping computer, database appears as a .mdf file which can be copied, but on 2nd computer this file does not exists. Supplementary info: -Developping computer: Vista, using Visual Studio 2008 with Server 2005 -2nd computer: XP using microsoft express server 2005

    Hi I have a un-ordered (ul) html list. Each li item has 1 or more classes attached to it. I want to go through this ul list and get all the (distinct) classes. Then from this list create a list of checkboxes who's value matches that of the class and also who's label matches that of the class. One checkbox for each class.   • SlideUp a div if any other div is slided down with jQuery

    I have made a function to slidedown different div's by clicking different links. Following is basic code. However, there's a little problem that, for example, if i click on first link, it slides down div. Now If i click on next link, it keeps the first div, and slides down the second div. However I want to do it so that, if there is any div slided down, and I click on any link, it should slide up the previous div and slide down the newer one. I will appriciate your help in this regard.     Hi, I have a select form element with 5 options. If option 2 is selected I want to display another form input box (this has a style of display:none initially). How can I attach an event to option 2 so that whenever it is selected the input box is shown otherwise it is hidden. I have this currently but this does not handle is option 2 is already selected when the page loads $('#type').change(function(){ var typeSelected = $(this).val(); if (typeSelected == 2) { $('#extraInput').show(); } }); I know I could add another bit of code which checks what is selected on page load but wondered if there was a neater way of doing this. Also something that could handle the hiding of the input box if option 2 is not selected at the start as currently I have just hard-coded style="display:none" onto the input box but I would prefer this to be dynamic.   • SWIG-Lua question on class returning another class

    I am concreting a question I had earlier. I have two classes in C++ and I use SWIG to wrap them. A method in one class can return a pointer to the other class. How can I get Lua to see it as more than just a userdata? More concretely: I have class fruit { int numberofseeds; //some other stuff about fruit constructors etc... public: getseedcount() { return numberofseeds; } } class tree { fruit * apple; public: //constructors and whatnot fruit * getfruit() { return apple; } } I wrap these two class with SWIG so I can access them in Lua So I can get in Lua the object x=pomona.tree(grannysmith). My question now is: How can I arrange for things so that when I type y=x:getfruit() I will get a pomona:fruit type object? Where I can write something line y:getseedcount()? At the moment all I get is userdata which not edible.

  • Can I use "map" as a substitute for "for each"/"for in"?

    For a little while now javascript has the "map" function to loop over arrays. It appears possible to use it as a 'foreach' operator for example: var arr = ['a','b','c'] var doubles = arr.map(function(val){ return val + val }) Is this better or worse than saying for(var i in arr){ ... 50/50: saves having to use the index but adds a callback; it doesn't seem very common so I hesitate to use it but still want to.

  • How to install older Android SDK in Eclipse

    I'm working at the moment at a simple app in eclipse for android. Just receiving and sending data, and using the camera API. I've set the minSDKversion to 8, because I think that has the widest user base. But at the beginning of the project eclipse was asking me which target SDK version I would use, and because I had just one installed (the latest 4.0.3) I've took this. Now I'm asking me if it wouldn't be wiser to install a lower SDK, like Android 2.2, because it would be not that big (compared to the 4.0.3) and my app would not have included all the fancy new features, which are not used in any way?! Or is this complete nonsense I'm talking here, and just should take my 4.0.3 SDK? When not, how can I install a lower version? Help -> SDK Manager is not showing old SDKs...

    I have an application with lots of generics and IoC. I have an interface like this: public interface IRepository<TType, TKeyType> : IRepo Then I have a bunch of tests for my different implementations of IRepository. Many of the objects have dependencies on other objects so for the purpose of testing I want to just grab one that is valid. I can define a separate method for each of them: public static EmailType GetEmailType() { return ContainerManager.Container.Resolve<IEmailTypeRepository>().GetList().FirstOrDefault(); } But I want to make this generic so it can by used to get any object from the repository it works with. I defined this: public static R GetItem<T, R>() where T : IRepository<R, int> { return ContainerManager.Container.Resolve<T>().GetList().FirstOrDefault(); } This works fine for the implementations that use an integer for the key. But I also have repositories that use string. So, I do this now: public static R GetItem<T, R, W>() where T : IRepository<R, W> This works fine. But I'd like to restrict 'W' to either int or string. Is there a way to do that? The shortest question is, can I constrain a generic parameter to one of multiple types?

    I use a subclass of CRichEditCtrl to provide a CEdit+ type control. One thing I want is to disable drag-drop functionality, which the base class provided by default. Disabling dropping is easy: ::RevokeDragDrop(m_hWnd); But I can't see a simple way to disable the control being a drag-source. Is there an easy way?
