• Advanced search in Outlook 2007 - can I turn on Search subfolders by default?

  When I do an Advanced Search (CTRL-SHIFT-F) in Outlook 2007, the Search subfolders option is always off by default. I have to click the Browse button and enable the checkbox at the bottom of the dialog every time. In Outlook 2002, it remembered the setting. Can Outlook 2007 be made to remember this setting?

  I've got a fresh install of Ubuntu 9.10 (64 bit) and for some reason the Google search field in the Firefox toolbar always searches google.jp. Given that I'm in Australia and struggle to read Japanese this is somewhat less than useful to me. Does anyone know how I can change the language/Google site that search field uses?

Is there a way to force it to always pick the first image in the folder as the preview image? Explorer has perfectly fine natural sort order.   I'd like to create a Search Folder in Outlook that only contains mails from people outside of my company. It's a Mailbox on an Exchange server, and my naive approach was "'From' 'doesn't contain' '@mycompany.com'", but that doesn't work, it looks like it's only matching the Display Name. Is there a way to filter this to only have external mail shown in a Search Folder?

• Windows search is skipping folders

  I was trying to find where Electrum stored its wallet files, so I went to C:\ and entered wallet.dat in the search bar (top right), which is supposed to search through the entire C drive (right?), but it didn't find anything. Later, I manually found the wallet.dat file in C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\Electrum_SysFiles\1.1\C_\ElectrumPY. Searching for wallet.dat in C:\ still comes up empty. Why is this?
