  • JavaScript/jQuery: Follow path over page

    I need to make an animated gif 'fly over a page and follow a path. I'm thinking of using jQuery but would I be right in thinking the only way to do it is manually calculating the percentage of width/height where the shape layer should be placed, then using absolute positioning is the only way to do this? I know there are some amazing jQuery plugins available for this type of thing.

  • ASP.NET MVC jQuery: Shoud we be concerned about a lot of jQuery/javascript on a View?

    We are moving from WebForms to MVC and and using a lot of jQuery. I appears we have a lot of jQuery/JavaScript in our Views, is this common and are there any concerns about security. The obvious step is to refactor into plugins and more generic UserControls etc, but this jQuery would still be "visible" by looking at js files etc. We are validating everything on the server-side anyway but should we be concerned?

  • Hudson Notifier?

    Is their any notifier which let's you add specific build in the notifier. Right now i am using Hudson Tacker (http://hudsontracker.sourceforge.net/index.html) which works fine but it only let's me add one build or all the builds. I didn't see any notifiers in http://wiki.hudson-ci.org/display/HUDSON/Plugins which might have this functionality. Thanks.

  • What is the best forum plug-in solution for the Symfony framework?

    I'm looking for a good solution to integrate a forum into a symfony application. Something like phpBB would be excellent. I've seen phpBB plugins to integrate with symfony but that's not enough for my purposes, also, mapping database tables is a lame approach in my opinion. If anybody knows a good working forum component for Symfony then I would really apreciate it. :) Thanks!

  • maven-ear-plugin works if jboss version is 4.2, but not 5. Why ?

    I am using maven to configure maven-ear-plugin. I am getting following exception when I say jboss version is 5 (See below code, under tag). I understand that help is only installed for the plugins that are installed already. However, I see that PDE(Plugin Development) API reference is not installed on my local eclipse, though a overview of PDE is. For example, recaptcha provided these words: of purser The tester typed in the following: o purser ..but Page.IsValid returned true! Is this a known issue with recaptcha?

    In Netbeans or in Eclipse, you can use "Find Usages" or "References" from the right click context menu. If a() calls b(), using the functionality from b() will show you a(). However, what I want is to be able to see some kind of tree or have an option to see all usages of a given/class or method, such that if z() calls a() that using the functionality will show both z() and a(). Any IDE plugins or external tools that can do this?

  • How can I progrommatically change the target framework from 4.0 to 3.5 of a project/solution?

    Edit 3: After more googling it looks like you can't have the TargetFrameworkMoniker property in a .NET 3.5 application. So I guess I should be asking a different question. How do I change the Target framework from 4.0 to 3.5? Unfortunately, I can only find stuff on how to go the other way. or better yet how do i progrommatically set the target framework version of a project to something other than 4.0? Original question: I just switched to vs2010. I have an application that uses .net 3.5. It loads plugins which are generated by a different app. The plugins are using .net 4 and there for cannot be loaded. I'm using EnvDTE.Project to create a project and set the settings. I can't find what setting needs to be set for this. Edit 1: I'm generating code for about 50 solutions. When I made the switch from vs2005 to vs2010 the projects in those solutions are defaulting to .NET Framework 4.0. So I need to set the .NET Framework to 3.5 when I am generating the code for these solutions. Edit 2: After a lot of googling I found this. so then I tried this: loProp = vsGetProperty("TargetFrameworkMoniker"); vsSetValue(loProp, ".NETFramework,Version=v3.5"); the definitions for those two methods are below. as far as I can tell they do the same this as project.Properties.Item("TargetFrameworkMoniker").Value = ".NETFramework,Version=v4.0,Profile=Client"; I start getting an Property Unavailable Exception later in the code. When I remove the new lines everything works except the projects target framework is still 4.0.   • Define Rails Model Persistent Attributes in Model File

    I recently played with MongoDB in Rails using Mongoid. I like the ability to define attributes for models within the model file (as opposed to in migrations): class Person include Mongoid::Document field :name, :type => String field :birthday, :type => Date end For projects that cannot use a schema-less database, does a similar feature exist? Any gems or plugins that generate schemas from a similar syntax would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
