visual studio qt5 plugins not working on release

I'm got this project where i'm showing images with a qt5 interface, i'm simply setting the Pixmap of a label with the qimage pixmap The thing is, it's working on a debug build, but not on a release build and i dont understand why. I already got a folder in my .Exe folder named "plugins" and a subfolder in it named "imageformats", and in this folder the file named "qjpeg.dll" So i coming here to see if someone has an idea on why it doesn't work ? Android Camera exit rotate

I am first time to write a camera app. At program, I am using setRequestedOrientation(ActivityInfo.SCREEN_ORIENTATION_LANDSCAPE) and android:screenOrientation="landscape" in Manifest to set the landscape screen. My problem is when use System.exit() or Intent. The screen will change to portrait automatically. But in my program, it haven't set any screen orientation again. How can I prevent this problem? Is it possible to stringstream like this? I am trying to read with ifstream and convert it. string things = "10 11 12 -10"; int i1; int i2; int i3; int i4; stringstream into; into << things; into >> i1; into >> i2; into >> i3; into >> i4; I expect it to be : i1 = 10 i2 = 11 i3 = 12 i4 = -10 is that correct? Can the same stringstream variable be used multiple times? When I tried, the first time was ok but everything else later on is just 0.

Confusion over manual/automatic sizing of Flash Sprite Objects

If I have a custom class subclassing Sprite and it draws some simple objects, how does this work with respect to the Sprite.width & Sprite.height properties? It seems I can draw (for example) a rectangle of any size, bigger than the Sprite size. Similarly if I set the width/height properties, what happens to the content already drawn? As a use-case, I might have a stick-man which is drawn as a set of lines, I want to set the man's height and the rendering is scaled to this. Are there any issues with width/height being auto-calculated or am I misunderstanding what these properties actually mean?

How to run a command on a remote Windows system as a non-admin user with WMI?

I have a script written in Visual Basic that starts a process (given to the script as an argument) on a remote system (again, given as an argument) using WMI. This script works fine when using an Administrator account on the remote system, but when using a non-administrator account, I get the following error: ConnectServer Failed w/ (-2147024891) Access is denied. I'd like to be able to run processes on remote systems as a non-administrator user with this script, and I'm pretty sure the problem is due to security settings on the remote system, but I've not been able to reset the right ones.

SVN: change a past revision and have the change in current

ok say I am on revision 4. I check it out, make some change and commit it. I am not on revision 5. I check it out again, am making some changes, but I am informed that there was a typo from revision 5 that needs to be changed right away. I don't want to fix it in my current working copy because I am in the middle of something and it wont be ready to commit yet. But I don't want to revert back to revision 5 and loose all my work. what I want to do is go back to revision 5, make the small change, commit it. And ALSO have that change made to my current working copy as well. I hope that makes sense. Is there a way to do that?

Is it possible to move files from a network location that requires credentials to another network location that also requires credentials without mapping any drive. (ie: Without any use of P/Invoke) Example: FileInfo fi = new FileInfo(@"\\SomeComputer\SomeDrive\SomeFolder\someFile.txt"); fi.MoveTo(@"\\AnotherComputer\AnotherDrive\AnotherFolder\AnotherFile.txt"); This works fine if the source and destination network drives are already mapped but if they are not It doesn't.

Easy way to determine what content is not delivered using a secure HTTPS connection?

I have some pages that are sent via HTTPS. Internet Explorer sometimes complains about "This webpage contains content that will not be delivered using a secure HTTPS". I looked in the html source to confirm all content calls (href, src, etc...) are sent via https. My CSS files use relative paths. But I'm still getting these warnings. Is there an easy way to track down which items are not sent via HTTPS?

Haskell and random numbers

Hi, I've been messing with Haskell few days and stumbled into a problem. I need a method that returns a random list of integers ( Rand [[Int]] ). So, I defined a type: type Rand a = StdGen -> (a, StdGen). I was able to produce Rand IO Integer and Rand [IO Integer] ( (returnR lst) :: StdGen -> ([IO Integer], StdGen) ) somehow. Any tips how to produce Rand [[Int]]?

But, these rich server side libraries are not available within the browser, which causes a problem when trying to format data client side (AJAX style.) What javascript libraries and techniques are recommended for performing client side formatting and time-zone calculations? Also - beyond simple client side formatting, how can consistency be achieved when performing both server side and client side formatting?

This is a fairly common problem, it probably has a name, I just don't know what it is. A.) User sees obscure piece of information in Row B of L_OBSCURE_INFO displayed on some screen at a certain point. It is in table L_Obscure_info. B.) Under certain circumstances we want to correctly delete data in L_OBSCURE_INFO. Unfortunately, nobody accounted for the fact that the user might want to backtrack and see some random piece of information that was most recently in L_OBSCURE_INFO. C.) The system is enormous and L_OBSCURE_INFO is used all the time. You have no idea what the ramifications are of implementing some kind of hack and whatever you do, you don't want to introduce more bugs. I think the best approach would be to create an L_OBSCURE_INFO_HISTORY table and record a record in there every time you change data. But god help your ensuring it's accurate in this system where L_OBSCURE_INFO is being touched everywhere and you don't have time to implement L_OBSCURE_INFO_HISTORY. Is there a particularly easy, clever design solution for this kind of problem -- basically an elegant database hack? If not, is this kind of design problem under a particular class of problems or have a name?

How big can a SQL Server row be before it's a problem?

Occasionally I run into this limitation using SQL Server 2000 that a row size can not exceed 8K bytes. SQL Server 2000 isn't really state of the art, but it's still in production code and because some tables are denormalized that's a problem. However, this seems to be a non issue with SQL Server 2005. At least, it won't complain that row sizes are bigger than 8K, but what happens instead and why was this a problem in SQL Server 2000? Do I need to care about my rows growing? Should I try and avoid large rows? Are varchar(max) and varbinary(max) a solution or expensive, in terms of size in database and/or CPU time? Why do I care at all about specifying the length of a particular column, when it seems like it's just a matter of time before someones going to hit that upper limit?

Shared Git repo syncing to svn causing git svn rebase to pollute repo with a log of no-op merge prob

This wasn't so bad at the beginning, but now I have hundreds of no-op merge problems (solved by git rebase --skip). I have setup a shared git repo for my group because it is easier to deal with. But the company uses SVN so I have to keep SVN in sync with GIT. Worked like a dream at first, but after weeks of doing this GIT is giving me a lot of the following errors. Applying: * making all config actions work Using index info to reconstruct a base tree... Falling back to patching base and 3-way merge... Auto-merging app/controllers/vulnerabilities_controller.rb CONFLICT (content): Merge conflict in app/controllers/vulnerabilities_controller.rb Auto-merging public/javascripts/network_analysis_vulnerability_config.js CONFLICT (content): Merge conflict in public/javascripts/network_analysis_vulnerability_config.js Failed to merge in the changes. Patch failed at 0046 * making all config actions work My workflow: git co master git pull origin git svn rebase ... deal with no-op merge problems ... git svn dcommit git pull origin git push origin The problem is that what is in SVN is the correct so I use git rebase --skip, but I have to do that hundreds of times before I can dcommit. How do I clear these merge problems permanently?

Bitmap manipulation as a referenced object

I am working with a Bitmap object that I add annotations or copyright material to the image and then return the modified bitmap. My problem is that the Bitmap won't hold the changes made to it as it moves along the chain. I am treating it as a reference type and would assume that as it gets passed to each class it would carry the changes made to it. I have verified that the code inside of the MarkImage() classes does function, but which ever one gets called last is the one that has changes. I can't find a DirectX installer to run from my installer.

I tried this one. But it's the annoying one which asks you where to extract temp files, my users won't know what this means. I also tried the web installer, but you're not strictly allowed to use this. I don't really follow the windows setup stuff, but is there a single .EXE I am allowed to distribute and run, which just works (for DX 9.0C) with some command-line args? Or some other way, which can can described in idiot-proof steps and and called in one command-line argument from an installer script like Inno?

PHP fails silently when function not defined?

I am migrating from PHP4 to PHP5 I have this in my .htaccess: php_flag display_errors on php_value error_reporting 2039 Which used to show all errors. I am still getting some errors but I used to get an error when I called a function that was not defined, but now it stops where it is at and send the client everything up to the error and nothing after. With no error message. Here is what phpinfo is telling me: Directive Local Value Master Value display_errors On Off error_reporting 2039 6143 I would like to be able to see my error messages for trouble shooting purposes. Can someone tell me what I need to do? Thanks!!

MySQL - Counting rows in preparation for greatest-n-per-group not working?

Referring to SO and other sites have given me examples of how to use MySQL to create a 'greatest-n-per-group' query. My variant on this would be to have a query that returns the first 3 rows of each category. As the basis for this I need to sort my data into a usable sequence and that is where my problems start. Running just the sequence query with row numbering shows that changes in category are mostly ignored. I should have 35 categories returning rows but only 5 do so. My query: set @c:=0; set @a:=0; SELECT IF(@c = tdg, @a:=@a+1, @a:=1) AS rownum, (@c:=tdg) , julian_day, sequence, complete, year, tdg FROM tsd WHERE complete = 0 order by tdg, year, julian_day, sequence Do I have a syntax mistake with this query?

Beginner question about getting reference to cin

I have a function void foo(istream& input) { input = cin; } This fails (I'm assuming because cin isn't supposed to be "copyable". however, this works void foo(istream& input) { istream& baz = cin; } Is there a reason that I can get a reference to cin in baz but I cannot assign it to input? Jquery conditionals, window locations, and viewdata. Oh my!

I have one last thing left on a project and its a doozy. Not only is this my first web application, but its the first app i used Jquery, CSS and MVC. I have no idea on how to proceed with this. What i am trying to do is: In my controller, a waste item is validated, and based on the results one of these things can happen. The validation is completed, nothing bad happens, which sets ViewData["FailedWasteId"] to -9999. Its a new waste item and the validation did not pass, which sets ViewData["FailedWasteId"] to 0. Its an existing waste item and the validation did not pass, which sets ViewData["FailedWasteId"] to the id of the waste item. This ViewData["FailedWasteId"] is set on page load using <%=Html.Hidden("wFailId", int.Parse(ViewData["WasteFailID"].ToString()))%> When the validations do not pass, then the page zooms (by window.location) to an invisible div, opens the invisible div etc. Hopefully my intentions are clear with this poor attempt at jquery. The new waste div is and the existing item divs are dynamically generated (this i know works) " So my question here is... Help? I cant even get the data to parse correctly, nor can i even get the conditionals to work. What do you do if a webservice in unavailable when updating a dropdown?

I am populating a dropdown from a jquery ajax call to a web service that is returning json data. If for some reason the webservice fails or is unavailable how do I handle this? I don't want to have my users looking at an empty dropdown. How can I cache the last successful call and use that instead?

Apparently Apple has changed some term in the agreement again. I am more interested in embedding Lua, but other people have other embeddings they want to make. I am wondering how you ask for permission, and what they mean by the terms "minor features" and "consistent" and how will Apple interpret this section? It seems to have enough loopholes to drive a real firetruck through. (BTW this is a terribly important question for me an my product.)
