    I need to determine the location of (mobiles) users within the enterprise buildings & floors. They are all using Microsoft Exchange & Office Communicator. If I have access to the IP address, I can know the location. Is there a way to retrieve the last IP address of the user by using Microsoft Exchange or Office Communication Server API ? If yes how ?     I'm new to stackoverflow and I'm looking for a question list, like the one on top, which just contains questions about interested tags. For example I'm interested in Java, but I have no clue about Python and questions about python clutters my questions page. I don't have answers concerning any python problem. I think it's too exhausting to enter my interested tags in the search combined with [xxx] OR. Is there a usable way to do this? By the way, what for are interested tags used right now? I added some in my profile but didn't see a benefit.

Which are the possible cons I might face when Rendering? Using CSS, JS? The one I remember is: IE6 can't clone tags it doesn't know.

    OK, I am a big fan of WPF, and while it is large area to fully understand, Microsoft has been great in posting loads of training video at http://windowsclient.net/learn/videos_wpf.aspx However with the release of 2010 it all seams to have gone very quiet. I expected a lot of the support to be updated for 2010 and I also expected a lot of new videos on the best way to use the new features in 2010. Currently I find myself working through videos based on 2008 (or even 2005) and trying to apply them to 2010. Don't get me wrong it not that I mind doing this, it just that I fear I may be learning methods which have better or different solutions in 2010. It is just me expecting too much of Microsoft, or have I missed out on a new website?

  • How does Google implement Microsoft Exchange access?

    I know with Android 2.x there is the ability to tap into Microsoft Exchange, for at least email, if not calendar and contacts. I would like to see how this was accomplished. Particularly because Microsoft Exchange exposes SOAP web services, and I understand there is no native Android support for SOAP. Since this is open source, shouldn't I be able to find something in the Android source? If so, can you point me in the right direction of where to find it in the ~4Gig (!) source? I want to develop an application that accesses Exchange contacts and calendars, but don't want to reinvent that piece. Any other guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.

If I want to sell that application, what are my license options? EDIT: The issue here is not my relationship with my employer (the code was written after hours, we have an understanding) but my relationship with Microsoft. Ex. if I continue developing in Visual Studio Express can I keep my old code? Is there a way to verify if some assemblies were written using a Visual Studio Professional?

  • Grails: No tag library for namespace. Cannot use any plugins with custom taglibs.

    I can't seem to use any of the grails ui plugins such as richui or grails-ui. I used grails install-plugin to install them, and grails list-plugins shows that they are correctly installed. However, whenever I use their provided taglibs in my views, I get this exception: Tag [tabview] does not exist. No tag library found for namespace: gui or Tag [tabview] does not exist. No tag library found for namespace: richui I'd really like to use these features, but cannot figure out how to get grails to recognize that the tag libraries are installed.

    Hello, Im searching for ideas to solve the following problem: I'm loading an URL (any for that matter) into an iFrame, and then block (server side) all image tags, o object tags before sending the page to the client. -- What I was thinking to do is: fetching the URL, and then manipulating the fetched content using a Java library (any recomendation on that matter?). And after that, send the modify content to que client. Would that be the best approach to solve this problem? suggestions are wellcome :)

    I get this error after having edited a few pages in SharePoint 2010. I have to do an IISReset on both front ends to get this to resolve.   • BizTalk and SQL: Alternatives to the SQL receive adapter. Using Msmq to receive SQL data

    If we have to get data from the SQL database, the standard way is to use a receive port with SQL adapter. SQL receive adapter is a solicit-response adapter. It periodically polls the SQL database with queries. That’s only way it can work. Sometimes it is undesirable. With new WCF-SQL adapter we can use the lightweight approach but still with the same principle, the WCF-SQL adapter periodically solicits the database with queries to check for the new records. Imagine the situation when the new records can appear in very broad time limits, some - in a second interval, others - in the several minutes interval. Our requirement is to process the new records ASAP. That means the polling interval should be near the shortest interval between the new records, a second interval. As a result the most of the poll queries would return nothing and would load the database without good reason. If the database is working under heavy payload, it is very undesirable. Do we have other choices? Sure. We can change the polling to the “eventing”. The good news is the SQL server could issue the event in case of new records with triggers. Got a new record –the trigger event is fired. No new records – no the trigger events – no excessive load to the database. The bad news is the SQL Server doesn’t have intrinsic methods to send the event data outside. For example, we would rather use the adapters that do listen for the data and do not solicit. There are several such adapters-listeners as File, Ftp, SOAP, WCF, and Msmq. But the SQL Server doesn’t have methods to create and save files, to consume the Web-services, to create and send messages in the queue, does it? Can we use the File, FTP, Msmq, WCF adapters to get data from SQL code? Yes, we can. The SQL Server 2005 and 2008 have the possibility to use .NET code inside SQL code. See the SQL Integration. How it works for the Msmq, for example: ·         New record is created, trigger is fired ·         Trigger calls the CLR stored procedure and passes the message parameters to it ·         The CLR stored procedure creates message and sends it to the outgoing queue in the SQL Server computer. ·         Msmq service transfers message to the queue in the BizTalk Server computer. ·         WCF-NetMsmq adapter receives the message from this queue. For the File adapter the idea is the same, the CLR stored procedure creates and stores the file with message, and then the File adapter picks up this file. Using WCF-NetMsmq adapter to get data from SQL I am describing the full set of the deployment and development steps for the case with the WCF-NetMsmq adapter. Development: 1.       Create the .NET code: project, class and method to create and send the message to the MSMQ queue. 2.       Create the SQL code in triggers to call the .NET code. Installation and Deployment: 1.       SQL Server: a.       Register the CLR assembly with .NET (CLR) code b.      Install the MSMQ Services 2.       BizTalk Server: a.       Install the MSMQ Services b.      Create the MSMQ queue c.       Create the WCF-NetMsmq receive port.   • Why is Outlook 2007 resizing images in outgoing and incoming HTML email? How can I fix this?

    In my Outlook 2007 client, embedded images in incoming emails appear resized when the message is viewed. The incoming images are resized to 198px wide, despite the original size. If it was larger, it will be shrunk; if it was smaller, it will be enlarged; the aspect ratio remains the same (the image is not stretched). This is local to my client only (i.e. another Outlook 2007 client reading the same IMAP inbox will see the image in the correct size. Similarly, viewing the email message in a browser will display the correct size). This happens regardless of whether width/height attributes are set on the image tag in the HTML. Zoom is set to 100% in my message window; text and other elements are not distorted from the original. In addition to this, outgoing HTML messages with images embedded in the same way are resized as they are sent. The outgoing images are all scaled to have a width of 247px. The source HTML of the outgoing message is changed after pressing Send so that the tag's width attribute is 247 pixels and the image file itself is also resized. These problems only occur with HTML messages; Rich Text messages do not have the same problem. I have already tried reinstalling Outlook and have it fully patched up to date. Why is this happening and how can I stop this?
