  • Problem with libcurl cookie engine

    [Cross-posted from lib-curl mailing list] I have a single threaded app (MSVC C++ 2005) build against a static LIBCURL 7.19.4 A test application connects to an in house server & performs a bespoke authentication process that includes posting a couple of forms, and when this succeeds creates a new resource (POST) and then updates the resource (PUT) using If-Match. I only use a single connection to libcurl (i.e. only one CURL*) The cookie engine is enabled from the start using curl_easy_setopt(CURLOPT_COOKIEFILE, "") The cookie cache is cleared at the end of the authentication process using curl_easy_setopt(CURLOPT_COOKIELIST, "SESS"). This is required by the authentication process. The next call, which completes a successful authentication, results in a couple of security cookies being returned from the server - they have no expiry date set. The server (and I) expect the security cookies to then be sent with all subsequent requests to the server. The problem is that sometimes they are sent and sometimes they aren't. I'm not a CURL expert, so I'm probably doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what. Running the test app in a loop results shows a random distribution of correct cookie handling. As a workaround I've disabled the cookie engine and am doing basic manual cookie handling. Like this it works as expected, but I'd prefer to use the library if possible. Does anyone have any ideas?   • PHP 'smart' search engine to search Mysql tables advice

    I am creating a search engine for my php based website. I need to search a mysql table. Thing is, the search engine must be pretty 'smart', so that users can easily find their items (it's a classifieds website). I have currently set up a FULLTEXT search with this piece of code: MATCH (headline) AGAINST ($querystring) But this isn't enough... For instance, lets say the field headline contains something like Bmw 330ci. If I search for 330, I wont get any results. The ending ('ci') is just one of many endings in car models which must be taken into account when searching the table. Or what if the headline field is bmw330? Also no results, because it only matches full words. Or also, what if the headline is bmw 330, and I search for bmw 520, still with FULLTEXT I will get the bmw 330 as a result, even though I searched for bmw 520... Not good! How should I solve this problem?

  • Cant fetch production db results using Google app engine remote_api

    Hey, im trying to work out with /remote_api with a django-patch app engine app i got running. i want to select a few rows from my online production app locally. i cant seem to manage todo so, everything authenticates fine, it doesnt breaks on imports, but when i try to fetch something it just doesnt print anything.     Hello all! I'm using the datagrid from wpf 4.0. This has a TemplateColumn containing a checkbox. The IsChecked property of the checkbox is set via binding. The problem is that even if I specify the binding mode explicitly to be TwoWay, it works only in one direction. I have to mention that the same code works perfectly in .net 3.5 with the datagrid from the wpf toolkit. Please take a look at the .xaml and .cs contents.   • WPF: how to find an element in a datatemplate from an itemscontrol

    Hi, I have the following problem: the application is using the custom itemscontrol called ToolBox. The elements of a toolbox are called toolboxitems and are custom contentcontrol. Now, the toolbox stores a number of images that are retrieved from a database and displayed. For that I use a datatemplate inside the toolbox control. However, when I try to drag and drop the elements, I don't get the image object but the database component.   • Building a template to auto-scaffold Index views in ASP.NET MVC

    I'm trying to write an auto-scaffolder for Index views. I'd like to be able to pass in a collection of models or view-models (e.g., IQueryable<MyViewModel>) and get back an HTML table that uses the DisplayName attribute for the headings (th elements) and Html.Display(propertyName) for the cells (td elements). Each row should correspond to one item in the collection. So, I'd like to replace var items = (IQueryable<TestProj.ViewModels.TestViewModel>)Model; with var items = (IQueryable<T>)Model; or something to that effect. The <td> elements are not working because the Html in <%= Html.Display(property.DisplayName) %> contains the model for the view, which is a collection of items, not the item itself. Somehow, I need to obtain an HtmlHelper object whose Model property is the current item, but I'm not sure how to do that. How do I solve these two problems?

  • What should I use - Mako or Django?

    Hi guys, I'm making a website that mail users when a movie or a pc game has released. It isn't too complex - users can sign up, choose movies/music or a genre and save the settings. When the movie/music is released - it mails the user. Some other functionality too but this is the jist. Now, I've been working with Python for a bit but mainly in the area of console apps. For web: what should I use, the web framework Django or the templating engine Mako? I can't seem to decide between the two. :( Thanks

  • Sharepoint and its template/master pages

    I'm trying to learn how to customize a sharepoint site. I've seen a lot of examples and they all seem to have one thing in common, the navigation are all the same. Ie the left nav with the different pages and docs. top nav with mostly links to sub-sites or other sites. Does anyone know of a good tutorial or example i can grab that has a horizontal layout of the left nav? i haven't found any.

  • T4 template for NHibernate? - not Fuent NHibernate

    Wondering if anyone knows of a set of T4 templates for generating C# POCO classes and also mapping XML files for NHibernate from a set of tables in a database. I saw that David Hayden has created T4 for generating FluentNH code based upon a DBML model, but I'm not quite ready to use FluentNH yet as there isn't even an official release yet (although I love the idea). Anyone know of any T4 templates for using plain NHibernate?
