I am Using this API And referring this link In below code i am using "Using Google.GData.Contacts" : using Google.GData.Contacts; // Using Google.GData.Contacts using Google.GData.Client; using Google.GData.Extensions; using Google.Contacts; // at this place i am getting error Error: The type or namespace name 'Contacts' does not exist in the namespace 'Google' (are you missing an assembly reference?) I have included Google.GData.Contacts API. But still it is giving Error. Can anyone tell me why this is happening? m i missing any Assembly reference? I want to use: Contact newContact = new Contact(); newContact.Title.Text = "Liz Doe"; "Contact" does not exist in Either "Google.GData.Contacts" or "Google.GData". Is there any other way to use it?

  • How can I send out diff's of submitted changes to the entire project whenever someone commits a chan

    I'd like to be able to send all the contributors working on a project a message whenever a commit is made. This way, everyone sees the contribution, and hopefully someone will take a look and spot bugs and whatnot. Furthermore, it provides our bosses with a nice and simple, if a little incomprehensible, way to get an idea of how the project is progressing. We're using Mercurial right now.

  • Converting HTML to plain text in PHP for e-mail

    I use TinyMCE to allow minimal formatting of text within my site. From the HTML that's produced, I'd like to convert it to plain text for e-mail. I've been using a class called html2text, but it's really lacking in UTF-8 support, among other things. I do, however, like that it maps certain HTML tags to plain text formatting — like putting underscores around text that previously had <i> tags in the HTML. Does anyone use a similar approach to converting HTML to plain text in PHP? And if so: Do you recommend any third-party classes that I can use? Or how do you best tackle this issue? Thanks!

    Has anybody some information about accessing Lotus Domino server to fetch entire mail contents by http(s) requests from php linux server? The article by Andrei Kouvchinnikov describes well how to fetch message list in notes mail folders; after obtaining session id during login one can for example select top 100 messages by calling: https://your.server.domain/mail_db/mailbox.nsf/($Inbox)?ReadViewEntries&Start=1&Count=100 And this works perfectly. The arises when I am trying to get message contents (0A1DA5EEB7B65277C12576F50055D811 is an example message unique Id): https://your.server.domain/mail_db/mailbox.nsf/($Inbox)/0A1DA5EEB7B65277C12576F50055D811/?OpenDocument Such request in IE shows frameset with data hard to parse, in less common browsers like Opera it informs about unsupported browser. Ideally if it is possible to fetch notes message contents and all attachments by requesting it in the url, has anybody some information what request would it be? Link to Lotus web calls reference would be even more beneficial.

Currently, I get the atom feed and then get as many emails as the feed has with the OpenPOP client (starting from the first). There are different messages for different purposes and we are trying to make the coding easy and understandable for the future. By the way we have different transport classes like e-mail, sms, twitter vs... Now we are doing this but I dont know if there is a better solution. We have a class called H2B_Message_Container_Mail_About_Blablabla it has 4 methods; interface H2B_Message_Mail_Interface { public function setName($name); public function setValue($key, $value); public function getMailBody(); public function getMailSubject(); } and in the mail body there are various variables as expected. before we send the mail, we get the variable values from the database with JSON format and decode it. Then we send it like; $mail = new H2B_Message_Mail(); $mail->setTemplate($newTemplate); $mail->send(); The question is; is there a better way to do this ?

    I want to set the ReplyTo value for a .NET MailMessage. MailMessage.ReplyTo Property: ReplyTo is obsoleted for this type. Please use ReplyToList instead which can accept multiple addresses. MailMessage.ReplyToList Property: Gets or sets the list of addresses to reply to for the mail message. But, ReplyToList is ReadOnly. I've tried to use the MailMessage.Headers property like this: mail.Headers.Add("Reply-To", "[email protected]"); as described here: System.Web.Mail, OH MY! But, that doesn't seem to work. How do I set the value(s) of the MailMessage's ReadOnly property ReplyToList?

  • Is there an equivalence to CDOSYS AutoGenerateTextBody in .NET

    I'm porting some VBScript code which generates emails using the standard CDOSYS Message object. The Message oject has a property AutoGenerateTextBody which when true will cause it to automatically create the TextBody property value when you assign HTML to the HTMLBody property. Hence creating the typical text/plain and text/html alternatives in the message body. However .NET appears to be missing this function. The MailMessage object does have the ability to create alternative views but there doesn't appear to be a way to easily create the text body content from the HTML content. I'm not necessarily looking for an auto-magic option but I do need a solution to taking what is an HTML string and converting it to a reasonable plain text representation. Just dropping all the HTML markup doesn't cut it. Is there a tool buried somewhere in the existing .NET framework that can do this?

    I am evaluating cloud e-mail solutions based upon: Google Apps for Education Microsoft Live@edu I work for a University and we currently have an institutional portal (based on uPortal). We currently have our local IMAP server and webmail client fully integrated with the portal. We would like to replicate the current portal e-mail experience with the new e-mail services. At present users can see a snapshot of their inbox in the portal and click through into the appropriate place in the webmail client. We expect that we need to solve similar problems when integrating with the cloud based e-mail solutions. We need to solve the single sign-on (SSO) problem. We need to be able to access the inbox messages on the users behalf. (e.g. proxy authentication) Does anybody have an experience or advice on this? Many thanks, Mark

I'm trying to use heredoc syntax to fill in the email body, however, the closing tag doesn't seem to be recognized. $this->email = new Email(); $this->email->from = 'Automated Email'; $this->email->to = '[email protected]'; $this->email->subject = 'A new user has registered'; $this->email->body = <<<EOF Hello, a new user has registered. EOF; $this->email->send(); Everything from the opening <<< EOF down (till the end of the file) is displayed as if it was in quotes. Can anyone see why this is not working? Any advice appreciated.
