I found the "Language Reference" section on the PHP manual, but it doesn't look as detailed as the JLS. The thing is I have a good practical knowledge of PHP but I'm miserably clueless about what REALLY happens under the hood.     I'm trying to find the exact height and width of a browser's viewport, but I suspect that either Mozilla or IE is giving me the wrong number. Here's my method for height: var viewportHeight = window.innerHeight || document.documentElement.clientHeight || document.body.clientHeight; I haven't started on width yet but I'm guessing it's going to be something similar. Is there a more correct way of getting this information? Ideally, I'd like the solution to work with Safari/Chrome/other browsers as well.

    I am trying to put 3 equations with "=" signs aligned but also left aligned. I tried the following: \documentclass{article} \usepackage{amsmath} \begin{document} \begin{flalign*} RPC &= A+B\tilde{f} +C x &\ A &= a+\eta &\ E &= cte & \end{flalign*} \end{document} With this I get the stuff in the left and the "=" signs aligned. However, I also need A (in the second equation) and E (in the third equation) to be aligned to the R (in the first one) Does anyone know how to get it? thanks

  • Add class to elements which already have a class

    I have a group of divs which I'm dynamically generating when a button is clicked with the class, "brick". This gives them dimension and starting position of top: 0. I'm trying to get them to animate to the bottom of the view using a css transition with a second class assignment which gives them a bottom position: 0;. Can't figure out the syntax for adding a second class to elements with a pre-existing class. On inspection they only show the original class of, "brick".     Getting the following error when trying to open a word document with macros to fill in the form fields: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Word\Security\AccessVBOM. The user opening the word document does not have admin rights and the AccessVBOM flag is either not available or set to zero. I can set the flag for the HKCU (Current user) programmaticallybut cannot change setting for inunder HKLM . Please advise how can we enable the trust for the VBA project programmatically. Thx Kumar

  • Line for signature in markdown

    I'm writing a document using markdown, which I'm exporting to a PDF using pandoc. At the end of the document I need to have space for signatures on a printed copy of the PDF. I've tried to find how to draw a line with a fixed width, but so far I only got to escaping the underscore character, which doesn't feel quite right.   • jquery-like HTML parsing in Python?

    Is there any Python library that allows me to parse an HTML document similar to what jQuery does? i.e. I'd like to be able to use CSS selector syntax to grab an arbitrary set of nodes from the document, read their content/attributes, etc. The only Python HTML parsing lib I've used before was BeautifulSoup, and even though it's fine I keep thinking it would be faster to do my parsing if I had jQuery syntax available. :D
