    How do I remove strings from / obfuscate a compiled binary? The goal is to avoid having people read the names of the functions/methods inside. It is a dynamic library (.so) compiled from C++ code for Android with the NDK tools (includes GCC) I compile with -O3 and already use arm-eabi-gcc -g mylib.so to remove debugging symbols, but when I do strings mylib.so all the names of the functions/methods are still readable.

    Hi, I have a small C++ dll which was written in Visual Studio (of course). In the solution code, I have a resource file that includes only version information. The strange dact is, that when I frag the compiled dll to Visual Studio, it opens a resource viewer with bitmaps, dialogs and a string table - where do all of them come from??     I'm running a big application and a small part of it includes Java 3D, the problem is many users need to use the code, but it isn't practical for everyone to install Java 3D just to run the application if they aren't even going to use that section of the application. Is it possible through compiling an extra jar, or changing some paths, to include Java 3D in a project without installing it on a system? Or perhaps to manually include any dlls?

    .NET 4 includes new concurrent data structures. The Bag and Dictionary collections have obvious applications but I cannot see any use for the Queue and Stack data structures. What are people using these for? Also, I've noticed that the design based upon linked lists incurs a lot of allocation and that destroys scalability. This is surprising given that the sole purpose of these collections is multicore programming. Is this an inherent limitation or are they just badly implemented?

    Here is my problem: I export a database A_DB using "export" function of Phppgadmin. The dump file A_dump.sql includes both the database structure and data. Then I try to create another blank database B_DB, and import A_dump.sql into it. But is it possible to get the error message (for instance, to log or to show to the user)?     Hi All I have a Text File (Sorry, I'm not allowed to work on XML files :(), and it includes customer records.
