    I'm trying to install Windows 8 with Bootcamp on my Macbook Pro. Sadly it won't let me get past the disk partition choice (even after formatting the Bootcamp-drive). It says: Windows can't be installed on this storage device. The chosen harddisk contains a MBR-partition-table. Unfortunately, I've found the documentation for this tool lacking and I cannot find out how to do this properly. I need also to manage developer access to projects (I think I should use gitolite for this). How can I do that? I am used to SVN which is easy because you can set username and password for each developer, which can easily access the repository without having the generate an ssh key and put it on the server.     Is there a Hyper-V virtual machine client for XP? Linux? Mac? I'm aware that we could VNC or RDP into the virtual machine but the problem is if the VM is not running or is suspend the end user can't start it and IT needs to get involved. I guess what I'm looking for is something like VMconnect.exe that runs on xp or linux. Or, If I am totally barking up the wrong tree let me know. ;-)

    I have two servers, let's call them first and second. First one is where the real development is done, and second one should be the replica. What I would like to do is put "git push" in post-receive, but there is one problem. Post-receive is executed as the user doing git push to first server, so I can't chmod 600 ssh key with no pass.     My broadband speed is sometimes lacking, and therefore it can be difficult to view Flash streams of programmes. So my idea is to start a Flash stream, let it run to completion no matter how long it takes, and then view the temporary .swf file. I've discovered the location of my Google Chrome temporary files. However, there is no file type associated with these files. Therefore, I'm wondering if the idea above will work, and how can I retrieve only .swf files?

Every example of this scenerio that I can find says to first boot into single user mode. What if my server is currently running in multiuser mode and I have no sessions open as root. How exactly do I order an orderly shutdown without root access so that I can begin the password recovery process?

Is it better to give each server a specific function or make them all duplicates and split the traffic between them? In other words dedicate 1 as DB server, 1 as web server, and 1 as reporting server/data warehouse, or better to put all three services on each server and use them as web farm?

(one of the so called cloud hosting) Installation went smooth apache is started but I can't access it through http://84.51.250.58[this is not a link] (just to see first "It works!" page) nor I can ping let say google.com using shell from remote viewer. It's brand new installation, it should work or am I missing something?

    PDF documents have hyperlinks to the contents on the same document (analogous to "#section" hrefs for an HTML document). Where's the back button to go back to the page I was on (where I clicked the hyperlink). Let's say I'm on the index of a PDF tutorial, page 4, and I click on Chapter 2's hyperlink in the index that takes me to page 38. Now, if I want to go back to page 4 again, which button or shortcut should I use?
