  • Build Path issue with Java Android project when starting Eclipse

    I booted up eclipse to start on a project, and without typing in a word I already have several errors. package department.namespace; import android.app.Activity; import android.os.Bundle; public class DepartmentActivity extends Activity { /** Called when the activity is first created. */ @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.main); } } At package department.namespace, it says: multiple marks at this line and the type java.lang.Object cannot be resolved. It is indirectly referenced from required .class files The import android.os cannot be resolved. Override cannot be resolved as a type The method OnCreate(Bundle) is undefined for the type Activity R. cannot be resolved as a variable. Since this JUST came up when I started Eclipse, how do I fix this?

I have written a rather bad wrapper class, but does anyone know of where to get a better one?   • Universal App won't build for device

    I'm trying to get an iPad/iPhone app to run on my iPad. (it builds and runs fine on the simulator) I went through the menu to create a new universal project. Then I added another library that my app will use (route-me), and i keep getting the following linker errors: "___restore_vfp_d8_d15_regs", referenced from: and "___save_vfp_d8_d15_regs", referenced from: I did a search on Google, and found (http://www.badrit.com/blog/2010/6/6/building-route-me-for-ipad) that it's just a matter of matching up project settings in the library projects. I did that but it didn't help. I still keep getting these linker errors. Anyone have any ideas what I can try?

So it must not be part of the result. Now I want a view that returns the content elements including the right order. The result could be: { "content" : ["second", "first"] } In this case the order of the elements is already as it should be. Another possible result: { "content" : [{"content" : "first", "order" : 2},{"content" : "second", "order" : 1}] } I started writing the map function: map = function (doc) { if (doc.type === 'el') { emit(doc.id, {"content" : doc.content}); //emit the id and the content exit; } if (doc.type === 'list') { for ( var i=0, l=doc.elements.length; i<l; ++i ){ emit(doc.elements[i], { "order" : i }); //emit the id and the order } } } This is as far as I can get. SELECT FileID FROM Files WHERE (MachineID=@machineID1 or MachineID = @machineID2...) and (date= @date and size=@size and type=@type... ) all of this happens in runtime... other wise i have to create a for loop to put multiple machines one by one... and have multiple queries depending on the case the user selected... this is quiet interesting and i could use some help... thanks

  • What library to choose to build a user interface for a C++ software that uses SDL

    Dear all, I have a simulation software (C++) that runs on the command line. It is platform independent (currently compiling and running on Windows, MacOS X and Linux). When the simulation ends, I visualize the result with SDL; it is a very basic 2d view, mainly color squares next to each other. I would like to have a user interface on top of the simulation so that I can start and pause the simulation, and change the parameters on the fly. Something pretty simple I guess. Well, ideally I will also add a grapher somewhere to see the evolution over time of some parameters. Now, I am wondering what direction I should go. Should I try to use one of the UI libraries for SDL ? Or maybe wxwidget in conjunction with SDL ? Or simply wxwidget and get rid of SDL ? Do you have any experience with this ? Thanks in advance Barth PS: I tried to use AGAR, a SDL UI library. It seemed very promising but I couldn't get it working. Not even the helloworld.

Can anyone advise of some steps and settings I should check. The membership provider has no problems create it's tables. I have added the PersistSecurityInfo=True in the connection string. The connection string is using the main user account for the server. When I implement the tables in the database using sql everything works fine.
