    Hi, We need to save the complete web page including img, javascript, css and html using ATL webbrowser (IHTMLDocument) control, using IHTMLDocument2::get_all() method we have saved .html file but now how do we get external files such as .css, javascript and image files please help us with methods that internet explorer or firefox used to save the web page locally.   • NSUserDefaults not saving properly

    Hey Guys I'm having issues with NSUserDefaults and I don't quite understand what's going on My App has 5 levels and each level does the exact same thing with NSUserDefaults (Retrieves the levels defaults, changes the value as the user plays the level and then sets the defaults and syncronizes at the end of the level) the first 4 levels...work without a hitch but the last level doesn't save the values. The app doesn't crash and the last level isn't the very last thing that happens, And I even have the defaults synchronized when the application terminates.   • Should the entity framework + self tracking entities be saving me time

    I've been using the entity framework in combination with the self tracking entity code generation templates for my latest silverlight to WCF application. It's the first time I've used the entity framework in a real project and my hope was that I would save myself a lot of time and effort by being able to automatically update the whole data access layer of my project when my database schema changed. Happily I've found that to be the case, updating my database schema by adding a new table, changing column names, adding new columns etc. etc. can be propagated to my business object classes by using the update from database option on the entity framework model. Where I'm hurting is the CRUD operations within my WCF service in response to actions on my Silverlight client. I use the same self tracking entity framework business objects in my Silverlight app but I find I'm continually having to fight against problems such as foreign key associations not being handled correctly when updating an object or the change tracker getting confused about the state of an object at the Silverlight end and the data access operation within the WCF layer throwing a wobbly. It's got to a point where I have now spent more time dealing with this quirks than I have on my previous project where I used Linq-to-SQL as the starting point for rolling my own business objects. Is it just me being hopeless or is the self tracking entities approach something that should be avoided until it's more mature?

  • JQuery - Ajax saving sortables in connected lists when sortable item is moved

    I have multiple JQuery sortable lists that connect with each other... They allow you to assign users to certain roles. Basically what I want to do is when a user is dragged from one list to another, I want JQuery to pick up the first list that the user was moved from so that I can send an AJAX request to delete it from that list in my database. I tried the following but every time you move the user over a list and haven't even dropped it within a list, it sends this request which means I'll be sending multiple AJAX requests... Does that make sense? $( ".selector" ).sortable({ out: function(event, ui) { ... } }); From my testing, I can use the following code to just update the list that user has been moved to so I've got the second half covered: $( ".selector" ).sortable({ receive: function(event, ui) { ... } }); Hopefully I am making sense :)

    I have a xml file that looks like this: <DataTalk> <Posts> <TalkPost> <PostType>dialog</PostType> <User>ABBE</User> <Customer>HRM - Heroma</Customer> <PostedDate>0001-01-01T00:00:00</PostedDate> <Message>TEST</Message> </TalkPost> </Posts> </DataTalk> When I now want to save new elements, I do: document.root.add((new XElement("TalkPost", new XElement("PostType", newDialog.PostType), new XElement("User", newDialog.User), new XElement("Customer", newDialog.Customer), new XElement("PostedDate", newDialog.PostDate), new XElement("Message", newDialog.Message))); The problem is now that it gets saved at the wrong hierarchal level. They all gets saved under <datatalk> and not under <posts> that I wan't to. How should I do to save the new elements under the <posts> hierarchically

I'm thinking that (if there isn't some sort of prefab Activity specifically for this) that I can use Android's crop utility. The only problem is that I can't overwrite the original file, the crop window needs to have a custom message (instead of "crop image"), and I'll need the coordinates of the crop. Is this possible? Is there another way to do this without writing my own Activity?

    Man, I am still not able to save a picture when I send an intent asking for a photo to be taken. Here's what I am doing: Make a URI representing the pathname android.content.Context c = getApplicationContext(); String fname = c.getFilesDir().getAbsolutePath()+"/parked.jpg"; java.io.File file = new java.io.File( fname ); Uri fileUri = Uri.fromFile(file); Create the Intent (don't forget the pkg name!) and start the activity private static int TAKE_PICTURE = 22; Intent intent = new Intent(android.provider.MediaStore.ACTION_IMAGE_CAPTURE ); intent.putExtra("com.droidstogo.boom1." + MediaStore.EXTRA_OUTPUT, fileUri); startActivityForResult( intent, TAKE_PICTURE ); The camera activity starts, and I can take a picture, and approve it. My onActivityResult() then gets called. But my file doesn't get written. The URI is: file:///data/data/com.droidstogo.boom1/files/parked.jpg I can create thumbnail OK (by not putting the extra into the Intent), and can write that file OK, and later read it back). Can anyone see what simple mistake I am making? Nothing obvious shows up in the logcat - the camera is clearly taking the picture. Thanks, Peter

  • iPhone App not saving values to .plist file

    Hey everyone. I am working on an app that displays a modal the first time the consumer uses it. I have a .plist file that will store the information I request once the Save button is pressed. I can read from the .plist file fine and when I run my save method it SEEMS to work fine but the .plist file is not updating. I'm not so sure of the problem here.     0 vote down star I am using GridView in asp .net and editing data with edit command field property (as we know after updating the edited row, we automatically update the database), and I want to use transactions (with begin to commit statement - including rollback) to commit this update query in database, after clicking in some button (after some events for example), not automatically to insert or update the edited data from grid directly to the DB...so I want to save them somewhere temporary (even many edited rows - not just one row) and then to confirm the transaction - to update the real tables in database... Any suggestions are welcomed...   • GLSL shader render to texture not saving alpha value

    I am rendering to a texture using a GLSL shader and then sending that texture as input to a second shader. For the first texture I am using RGB channels to send color data to the second GLSL shader, but I want to use the alpha channel to send a floating point number that the second shader will use as part of its program. The problem is that when I read the texture in the second shader the alpha value is always 1.0. I tested this in the following way: at the end of the first shader I did this: gl_FragColor(r, g, b, 0.1); and then in the second texture I read the value of the first texture using something along the lines of vec4 f = texture2D(previous_tex, pos); if (f.a != 1.0) { gl_FragColor = vec4(0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 1.0); return; } No pixels in my output are black, whereas if I change the above code to read gl_FragColor(r, g, 0.1, 1.0); //Notice I'm now sending 0.1 for blue and in the second shader vec4 f = texture2D(previous_tex, pos); if (f.b != 1.0) { gl_FragColor = vec4(0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 1.0); return; } All the appropriate pixels are black. This means that for some reason when I set the alpha value to something other than 1.0 in the first shader and render to a texture, it is still seen as being 1.0 by the second shader. Before I render to texture I glDisable(GL_BLEND); It seems pretty clear to me that the problem has to do with OpenGL handling alpha values in some way that isn't obvious to me since I can use the blue channel in the way I want, and figured someone out there will instantly see the problem.
