  • Adobe Volume License for Indesign Digital Download Location?

    We recently purchased a volume license for Adobe Indesign from Dell. We received an e-mail for the order that contains the serial #. However, there is no information on how to obtain Adobe Indesign from the Adobe licensing portal. This is our first time dealing with Adobe volume licensing so I'm a bit lost as to what we're suppose to do. I've googled around a little and found an Adobe License Portal but I do not have access to it. Does anyone with experience concerning Adobe volume licensing have any idea what we're suppose to do to get a download of our purchase?

  • Use trackball to scroll, zoom, etc

    I've got a Logitech Marble Trackball (which is great, btw). By setting one of the extra buttons as a "middle" mouse button, when I click it, many apps (like browsers) will start "scrolling mode" so that moving the trackball will scroll up and down. Most of the time, this is sufficient, but I figure it would be way cooler if I could have several "modes" to do different things like zooming, panning, rotating (particularly in GIMP). Then when I hold CTRL, CTRL+SHIFT, or some such, it would enter a new mode, and the trackball would behave differently. I found a couple questions similar to this that suggest using AutoHotKey, but I haven't found an example script to do this, nor can I find out to track mouse movements within AHK. Any pointers? hotkey for scrollwheel remedy for a no scroll wheel trackball? Thanks!

I already tried using: Photorec Recuva Tune up undelete Pareto data recovery chkdsk x: /F from here: http://superuser.com/questions/128259/how-to-recover-images-from-memory-card But none of them worked. I think I've only lost the data yesterday. And I haven't used the camera. So there's a possibility that it is still there. But the question is how I can recover the images? I think its lost when I tried to connect the digicam with the computer. But the camera froze so I tried to remove the batteries then try again.

  • Lagging digital tv over ethernet

    I have a HD Home Run TV over ethernet device, which connects the aerial to my router, and from there the router connects to my PC over about 15m of 100Mbps ethernet cable. The TV output lags every second. It does not do so for a computer much closer to the router. It is odd to me that the network rate is around 7Mbps on a 100Mbps cable. I am not downloading or streaming anything else on the affected computer. Is this lag caused by the speed of the cable, the length of the cable, or interference on the cable? I am considering swapping the ethernet cable with shielded ethernet cable.

I tried kdenlive Imagination Videoporama PhotoFilmStrip The first one has not enough settings (don't remember what exactly) and all those have rather poor quality – the resized picture is very "aliased" (like no quadratic filter was applied during resizing).

  • Western Digital Caviar SE16 not recognized

    Before I start, I have been looking at quite a few websites and I still have not found an answer to my problem. I have been building my own computer recently and I have just received the hard drive (WD Caviar SE16 WD5000AAKS) I was planning to put in my computer. After connecting the SATA power cable (99.99999% sure it is connected correctly) and the SATA cable to my motherboard (ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3) I booted my computer into a Linux Mint 13 XFCE 64-bit live USB expecting to see a hard drive when I came to install. Sadly when I checked the only hard drive that was showing was /dev/sda which was my USB with the Linux files on it. I also checked gparted and no hard drive other than my USB was showing up there either. Lastly I checked my BIOS and no matter what SATA port I connected the HDD to it wouldn't show up there either. I know it is possible to do it with UIScrollView and with UIWebView, but these solutions both need a lot of changes in the code, and I'm working on schedule (bad teachers). It does not appear to be respecting the z= parameter, or at least, not allowing a zoom level that shows stores in the area.

  • How can I get Pinch to Zoom back in Desktop mode?

    Windows 7 had an old implimentation of Pinch to Zoom where bringing your fingers apart/together would act similar to ctrl + +/-, the standard zoom. It's not as nice as granular zoom (like iOS/Android use) but it worked. Most notably it doesn't work in Chrome (did before) but I haven't noticed it working in any other apps. In windows 8 desktop mode, pinch to zoom doesn't seem to work at all. It doesn't even work in One Note 2010, which, if I recall correctly, had granular zoom in Windows 7. I have an (older) 2 touch point multi-touch monitor, and I can see the visual feedback that the two touch points and coming closer/farther apart, but it doesn't zoom. Note I'm using the touchscreen, not a touchpad or the Arch mouse or other peripherals. Can I enable this somehow or is it gone from Desktop mode? It works fine in Metro apps. Additionally I get weird visual feedback when placing my second finger on the screen; a shrinking transparent square appears somewhere between the two fingers, visually similar to the Right Click visual queue when long-pressing. It's not a right click though, I can't tell what, if anything, it's doing.
