  • Keep the images downloaded in the listview during scrolling

    I'm developing my first app and have been reading a LOT here. I've been trying to find a solution for the following issue for over a week with no luck. I have an Adapter that extends ArrayAdapter to show image and 3 lines of text in each row. Inside the getView I assign relevant information for the TextViews and use ImageLoader class to download image and assign it to the ImageView. Everything works great! I have 4.5 rows visible on my screen (out of total of 20). When I scroll down for the first time the images continue to download and be assigned in right order to the list. BUT when I scroll back the list looses all the images and start redrawing them again (0.5-1 sec per image) in correct order. From what I've been reading it's the standard list performance but I want to change it. I want that, once the image was downloaded, it will be "sticked" to the list for the whole session of the current window. Just like in Contacts list or in the Market. It is only 20 images (6-9kb each). Hope I managed to explain myself.

  • How to make div follow scrolling smoothly with jQuery?

    Hello I'm creating a blog layout, which has an sidebar. In sidebar there are sections/boxes, but the last one of these boxes should follow scrolling when none of the other boxes are visible. So, when user scrolls down, he sees a normal sidebar, but when user has went down enough, sidebar ends but the last box starts to follow on the top of the screen. I have seen this a lot on different kind of sites. So hard to explain with my english. I already made it to follow screen smoothly with animate() but couldn't get it like this. Hope you understood. I already tried in Google for almost an hour but couldn't figure out any keywords (due to my bad english).   • GridView with horizontal scroll

    I currently have a GridView scrolling vertically, and everything works fine. But now that I want to change my layout and have the gridview grow on its width instead of height as it grows bigger I am lost. I have tried to simply change the column width each time an item is added to the gridview. But no vertical scroll appears, even though the items are added correctly. Is there a neat way to fix this, or must I make my own gridview? :( Cheers,

    There's placeholder on the page that is loaded asynchronously using jQuery load method. Page URL might have anchor and I want to scroll to the anchor after content is loaded. What is the best way to do that? Problem is similar to this: http://forum.jquery.com/topic/goto-anchor-after-load But I don't like the solution. May be someone has and better ideas on this?

    Hi, In my web app there is a page(ChildPage) which is actually contained in an iframe element of another page(ParentPage). This ChildPage has its contents placed in ContentPlaceHolder of a MasterPage. <div id="DivScroll" runat="server" style="overflow-y: auto; overflow-x: auto; width: 100%; height: 100%;"> <asp:ContentPlaceHolder ID="ContentPlaceHolder1" runat="server"> </asp:ContentPlaceHolder> </div> As apparent in the code, contents of ChildPage are scrollable in the div containing it. There is never the need for the scroll bars of browser to appear and it is working this way till IE7. On the page load this ImageButton is present on the bottom of the page. In this case IE8 shows browser's vertical scrollbar due to height of Div1. When I scroll DivScroll shown in first code snippet, the ImageButton moves up. When the ImageButton is moved sufficiently up so that it is above the bottommost part of page by more than 300px(i.e, the height of Div1) and if I click the ImageButton, the browser's vertical scrollbars disappear. Browser's vertical scrollbar appears in case the distance between ImageButton and the bottom most part of page is less than height of Div1 and disappears when the distance is more than height of Div1. I need that the browser's vertical scrollbar never appears. Please Help.

    I have a UIScrollView which I create and size dynamically using... scrollView.contentSize = CGSizeMake(scrollView.frame.size.width , length); I then add subviews to the UIScrollView. I do have scrollView.showsVerticalScrollIndicator = YES; When scrolling the scroll indicator never appears. Even if I call [scrollView flashScrollIndicators] nothing happens. Ideas?

    Hi all, Problem with filtering Dropdown list. The scenario is : in scroll window there are two fields Document types and type id: Document type is Dropdown list: As per document type selection type id look should display the values. For ex. If I select quote type from document type and if I open type id look up it should display only quotation in the look window. It should work for all the values of document type drop down list values. Its working fine. The item in the document types are: Quote, Order, Invoice, Return, BackOrder. The problem is after saving the data when I am displaying the same record in scroll window, suppose after displaying document type is QUOTE and document id is QTOARD, and in this position I am changing the document type from dropdown QUOTE to ORDER at this time warning message should c ome this range entered is in valid. Because in database table there is no document QTOARD for ORDER type. The same should work for all the condition. The table name is SOP_ID_Setp and key is SOP Type and DocumentID.   • iPhone OS: Tap status bar to scroll to top doesn't work after remove/add back

    Using this method to hide the status bar: [[UIApplication sharedApplication] setStatusBarHidden:YES animated:YES]; When setting "hidden" back to NO, the tap-to-scroll-to-top (in UIWebView, UITableView, whatever) doesn't work any more, and requires a restart of the app to get the functionality back. Is this a bug (I filed a rdar anyhow) or have I missed a step? Should I perhaps expect this behavior since the statusBar "loses touch" somehow with the respective view?

  • Iframe always showing scroll bars in IE7

    Hi everyone, Having an annoying issue in IE7. I have a website where, at the bottom of every page theres an Iframe, and for the life of me I cannot get the scroll bars to hide. This is only in IE7, every other browser I have tested is fine. I have scrolling="no" and set overflow:hidden; still not working though.
