I'm trying to determine if there is any buffer of time from the time a password expires in AD to the time that users would stop receiving email on their mobile devices
our setup is
Exchange 2007 ActiveSync
DC's are Server 2008 R2
primarily Android shop, with maybe a few iOS devices
I've heard some rumors of people still receiving email after their password expired / changed on the domain, just want to see if anyone else has ever heard of this.
Did a bit more reading, read about Token Cache in IIS 7.0 and 15min lagtime, still would like to hear any thoughts about this.
Outlook 2007 is occasionally displaying HTML emails in plain text. The emails are generated by a company system and appear correctly as HTML for most users. Rarely an email will appear in plain text despite the content header expressly showing "Content-Type: text/html;"
Any suggestions appreciated.
Hi there,
I open a .doc file in Word 2007 (sorry I am unable to supply the .doc) which pops up with a message above the document "Security warning: Macros have been disabled" but there are no macros shown in the macros listing and no functionality displayed in the VBScript editor.
Why does Word think this document contains macros and how can I remove them to prevent the warning?
Thanks,
Tom
I have an html email (email.html) formatted and ready to go. How can I paste the html code (Using Outlook 2007) into a new message and keep the html formatting?
Why do I get the error: "General Failure. The application cannot be found.", whenever I click on a link in a message in Outlook 2007?
Actually, it is not I who have the problem, but my colleague. Thanks.
Anyone knows where one could find a Latex reference sheet for usage in Word 2007? I'm interested in some which mostly deals with writing math. Formulas, text formatting and page layout are of lesser importance.
My Word 2007 spell-check seems to work fine, except that when I paste in text from somewhere else, it won't detect any misspellings in that pasted text...no matter what I try.
If it makes any difference, when I paste in text, the formatting is preserved (size color etc).
Any ideas on what to try?
I understand that the Windows 7 jump list for Outlook2007 should look something like the one on the left, whereas mine, on the right contains only the three basic items and an ICS file I imported recently. I would like to have access to the commands for creating new items from my jump list. Can anyone explain why I don't get the other commands and what I might be able to do to enable them?
When inserting a text box using the developer tab in Word 2007, by default the inserted text box says "Click here to enter text".
How can I change this to something different?
Thanks.
Hi all
In Word 2007 I have a Page which had to be changed to vertical mode. Now when I look at the page it's vertical but the header/footer are still horizontal is there a way to change them to the existing alignment?
How do I change the font used by numbers, or numerics, in a Word 2007 document?
For the rest of the document, they would be using another font for the letters and such, but I would like the numbers to be in a different font altogether.
If this is possible, how do I set it?
Using Microsoft Word 2007, is it possible to replace the newline character (\n) with some other character?
What about vice versa? (That is replace a character with the newline character).

How do I prevent a style from changing the font color. I have "Automatic" selected as the font color (and the "Default" button under "Font" is disabled by the way), but whenever I apply the style, the font color changes to black.
Using Word 2007
I have added some advanced properties into my Microsoft Word 2007 document. These were created by doing the following:
Click the Office button - Prepare - Properties. Under the Document Properties drop-down menu, select Advanced Properties. In the Custom tab, add properties as needed.
My question is how do you insert these custom properties into the Word document so that they are in text form and gets updated when you update the properties in that one spot?
Thank you!
When doing an alignment in Powerpoint 2007 (say, Align Center), is there any way to select which object will be aligned to? It seems to pick one of the objects, but I'm not sure how it decides which one to pick and how to change it. Order of selection and front/back ordering seems to have no effect.
Anyone have any ideas?
There is a permanent yellow bar under the toolbar in Outlook2007 saying "Click here to enable instant search".
When I click on it, the following message appears:
I click No, and the annoying yellow bar is still there. How can I get rid of it? I don't want to install Instant Search feature.
I have a Horizontal Labeled Hierarchy SmartArt object in my Word 2007 document and for some reason the background labels are just too tall.

How do i change defalut colors for a new Textbox in PowerPoint 2007? I am using a custom themed presentation template that someone gave me and every time I create a new text box it is white text on white background.
We currently have a small c# script that pulls a calendar appointment from Siebel OnDemand and mails it out to our users using smtp. This all worked before we migrated some users to Exchange 2007 this weekend. Now the .ics calendar file doesn't show up for those that have been migrated but still show up for those who haven't.
The Exchange team says there isn't a problem with our servers.
Has anyone seen this type of problem? Any solutions?
