  • Share one ssl certificate between multiples vhost

    I have a setup like this: <VirtualHost 192.168.1.104:80> ServerName domain1 DocumentRoot /home/domain/public_html ... </VirtualHost> <VirtualHost 192.168.1.104:80> ServerName domain2 DocumentRoot /home/domain2/public_html ... </VirtualHost> <VirtualHost 192.168.1.104:80> DocumentRoot /home/domain3/public_html ServerName domain3 ... </VirtualHost> <VirtualHost 192.168.1.104:443> ServerName domain3 SSLCertificateFile /usr/share/ssl/certs/certificate.crt SSLCertificateKeyFile /usr/share/ssl/private/private.key SSLCACertificateFile /usr/share/ssl/certs/bundle.cabundle ... </VirtualHost> I want to use domain3 certificate in the other domains, preferably without having to repeat all the <VirtualHost 192.168.1.104:443> config. In other words I want something like this: If the vhost has no explicit ssl config use cert for domain3 (/usr/share/ssl/certs/certificate.crt) Notes: 1.- I for sure will be setting more vhosts in the future 2.- I know (and don't care) of the ssl warnings the browser will show (hostname mismatch) If this possible? how?

  • How can I tell why I have access to a file share on Windows Server

    I have a file share on a Windows 2008 R2 server in a AD domain (call it \SECURESERVER\STUFF) and I am not sure if I have the share and folder permissions set up right. I noticed the problem when I set up new server (WORKGROUP\FOREIGNSERVER) that was not joined to the domain and tried to copy some files off of \SECURESERVER\STUFF. I was surprised to find that when I tried to access the files, it did not prompt me for a username and password and proceeded to give me full access to the files. That worried me so I tried the same thing on some workstations that were not in the domain and they did NOT have the same behavior (they did prompt for a username/password as desired/expected). So, I think there is something peculiar about FOREIGNSERVER. I am logging into it with a local admin account, but my domain and SECURESERVER should know nothing of this server. I've carefully gone through the share and folder permissions on the share but I can't find the reason that FOREIGNSERVER has access. How can I find out why FOREIGNSERVER has access to SECURESERVER?

  • windows xp cannot access admin share

    I have 3 systems. A,B,Compx all on xp. but comps A and B have an issue with Compx. Compx has network shares I can access. I can do \\compx and get some. But I cannot access the admin share c$ \\compx\c$ gives a login prompt, and I can't get any user/pass to work. I looked at permissions but don't see an issue. Nevertheless, I will describe what I see in the permissions. In the security tab of C, I have Administrators,creator owner,everyone,bob,system,users (6 things there) "creator owner" has nothing ticked, I can't seem to change that. If I tick so they all get ticked, and click apply, 2.5min and it's completed its opration and they all untick. Though this isn't the root of the problem. Since I get the same in the share I can access. In advanced, I see those 6 things, Administrators,creator owner,everyone,bob,system,users (6 things there) all "full control" all are "this folder, subfolders and files".. except creator owner, which is just subfolders and files only I look at the properties for the share I can see. looks the same, except in security..advanced, double clicking any of them the boxes are all ticked but greyed. That's not the problem though since I can access that share. So, I don't know what the problem is.

  • Share an Interface between XAML and WinForms

    We're considering converting our WinForms application to a XAML application sometime in the future. Currently, our WinForms application uses lots of tabs, which we put use to display different User Control objects. All of these controls implement a specific Interface so we can make specific calls to them and not worry about what the actual control is (things like Save, Close, Clear, etc.) Would it be possible to create a WPF project that contains XAML User Controls that implement the same Interface and display those User Controls in the WinFroms project within a tab?

  • Accessing a Novell share on Trusty Tahr?

    After upgrading my pc to the current LTS release 14.04, i found that i can't access novell shares using ncpfs any more. It seems that the ncp-related packages (libncp and so on) have been present in the 14.04 repos, but got removed: (see launchpad, ubuntuupdates and Debian Bug #712779). Is there still any way to install the ncp-related components? Are there any other tools to access or even mount a novell shre from a 14.04 system? EDIT: Oddly enough, ncpfs and libncp are still available in the current LTS Version of Mint (Mint 17 "Qiana").

    The following message appear every time I reboot/boot my ubuntu 12.04.1 CIFS VFS: default security mechanism requested. The default security mechanism will be upgraded from nbtlm to ntlmv2 in kernel realese 3.3 I'am searching for a solution, if there is one for this message, I really don't understand it. Following my fstab //192.168.0.10/D$/ /mnt/winshare/ cifs user,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777,rw,gid=1000,credentials=/root/creds 0 0 I can use my mounted folder with no problem, I just want to know why this message is appearing and if have something that I can do to fix this problem or hide this warning.   • Problems accessing shared folder in Windows Server 2008

    In Windows Server 2008, I have a shared folder. For my username: NTFS permission (read/modify) Share Permissions (read/modify) Result when trying to access the share: I can traverse directory and read files, but I cannot write files. When I try to examine my effective permissions, it says "Windows can't calculate the effective permissions for [My Username]". The folder is owned by the Administrators group (the default), and NTFS read/write permissions are granted to my username, which is a member of the Administrators group. I notice that to make any changes to the folder locally require me to acknowledge a UAC prompt. Why does that prompt appear? I also tried creating a new group, giving it full NTFS permissions, and full control in the shared permissions, and added my username to the group. The result is even worse... I cannot even traverse the shared folder directories or read anything at all.

  • Can't connect to a share.

    Hello, I have a laptop with a Windows XP Tablet Edition installed. I have several users setup on the laptop (mostly me and my kids). When I try to connect to its administrative share via \DadLaptop\c$ from a Windows 2000 Professional machine, it prompts me for a user name and password. However, after I enter it, it always tells me "incorrect password or unknown username". As a test I setup another share, called "test" and tried to connect to that. It worked fine, didn't even ask me for a password, just connected to it and that's that. All the networking is wireless. I am connecting with an admin account (admin on the target computer). What am I missing? Why can't I connect to an administrative share?

    I would like to have a directory that has following properties: Many users can copy files into it These files can be deleted/changed by these users (user A can delete/modify file that was copied into this directory) it cant be done using normal file permissions (because permissions are retained on copy). Here is what I found on the net: brainstorm idea blueprint Some use cases: Sharing music on local machine Simple git repository sharing (just make a bare repository writeable to many people) --- i know that there are solutions like gitosis Allow many developers to modify test instance of php app without giving them root (i guess they would copy files) --- I'm leading a team of nonprofit junior developers and I need to keep that one simple! EDIT AFAIK setting SGID bit is not enugh, it only affects newly created files --- and basic workflow for these use cases ivnolves copying and other operations (which cleave file's gid unchanged)

  • VirtualBox Share permissions

    at the moment i'm running ubuntu server 12.04 on top of a virtual box running as service in M$ w7x64, I've configured the shares on fstab with E /media/E vboxsf auto,rw,uid=1000,gid=1000 0 0 the mount is ok drwxrwxrwx 1 knoker knoker 16384 Sep 1 20:02 E but i cant change the permissions inside of /media/E ,chmod runs but doesn't do nothing. on a specific case /media/E/Docs/Downloads i have dr-xr-xr-x 1 knoker knoker 163840 Sep 1 19:30 Downloads and since i cant seem to be able to change from linux i tried it on the windows, and all users listed have full control...   • How should I share variables between instances/classes?

    I'm making a game using LOVE, so everything is programmed in Lua. I've been experimenting with using classes and object orientation recently. I've found out that a nice system to use is having most of the game's code in different classes, and having a table of instances with all of the instances of any class in it. This way, I can go through every instance of every class and update and draw it by calling the same function. There is a problem, though. Let's say I have an instance of a player with variables for health and recharge time of a weapon. I also have a master instance which is responsible for drawing the HUD. How can I tell the master instance what the player's health is? Bad solutions: Assuming that the player instance will always have the same position in the table - that can be easily changed. Using global variables. Global variables are evil. Have the master instance outside of the instances table, and have the player set variables inside the master instance, which it then uses for HUD drawing. This is really bad because now I have to make a duplicate of every variable the master instance needs. What is the proper, standard way of sharing variables between instances? Do I need to change the way I keep track of instances?

    UBUNTU 11.10 NAUTILUS 3.2.1 We ARE able to see Windows PCs on our network from Ubuntu's NAUTILUS, yet we are NOT able to access their shares from NAUTILUS, even though they work fine with each other, i.e. each windows PC IS able access the other Windows PC's shares just fine. Please infer from this information the answers to any questions about our situation you may have. Note this is a default/pristine configuration, i.e. no changes have been made whatsoever. Our version of Ubuntu is: 11.10, NAUTILUS is 3.2.1 Linux tite-HP-630-Notebook-PC 3.0.0-15-generic #26-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jan 20 17:23:00 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux A screenshot is available upon request.   • How to move files over samba share with gnomevfs cli

    Ok I am in the process of backing up my film collection to a NAS and I wanted to automate this as much as possible as I have to work at the same time. I am trying to setup a daily dump of ISO's ready to be converted overnight. I would like to do this as a cron job using gnomevfs. I have been able to connect and do an ls command successfully with gnomevfs-ls smb://user:WORKGROUP:password@media-centre/videos/ but I am having trouble setting up a mv command from a local folder to the same shared folder keep getting the Usage: gnomevfs-mv <from> <to> quote which isn't particularly informative ;) any ideas?

  • Scanline filling of polygons that share edges and vertices

    In this picture (a perspective projection of an icosahedron), the scanline (red) intersects that vertex at the top. In an icosahedron each edge belongs to two triangles. From edge a, only one triangle is visible, the other one is in the back. Same for edge d. Also, in order to determine what color the current pixel should be, each polygon has a flag which can either be 'in' or 'out', depending upon where on the scanline we currently are. Flags are flipped according to the intersection of the scanline with the edges. Now, as we go from a to d (because all edges are intersected with the scanline at that vertex), this happens: the triangle behind triangle 1 and triangle 1 itself are set 'in', then 2 is set in and 1 is 'out', then 3 is set 'in', 2 is 'out' and finally 3 is 'out' and the one behind it is set 'in', which is not the desired behavior because we only need the triangles which are facing us to be set 'in', the rest should be 'out'. How do process the edges in the Active Edge List (a list of edges that are currently intersected by the scanline) so the right polys are set 'in'? Also, I should mention that the edges are unique, which means there exists an array of edges in the data structure of the icosahedron which are pointed to by edge pointers in each of the triangles.
