  • How do I stop jetty server in clojure?

    I am writing a web application using ring and clojure. I am using the jetty adapter for the development server and emacs/SLIME for IDE. While wrap-reload does help, run-jetty blocks my slime session and I would like to be able to start/stop it at will without having to run it in a separate terminal session. Ideally, I would like to define a server agent and functions start-server and stop-server that would start/stop the server inside the agent. Is this possible?

    Hi all, I want to create a global MemoryMappedFile in C# 4.0 using following call: string MemoryMappedFileName = "Global\\20E9C857-C944-4C35-B937-A5941034D073"; ioBuffer = MemoryMappedFile.CreateNew(MemoryMappedFileName, totalIoBufferSize); This always throws following exception "System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path is denied." If I remove the "Global\" identifier from the memorymapped filename it works but I need a memory mapped file existing accross terminal sessions. thanks, Christoph

    I would like to launch a Scala Swing application from the command line, then after the application is started, drop into the Scala REPL to use as a control interface. Ideally I would also like to pre-bind some variable names. Even better would be using a Java2D terminal emulator for the REPL, but I couldn't find anything appropriate.     I was messing around with sendmail in Rails a year ago and have had this message popping up in the terminal after every command ever since: You have new mail in /var/mail/Lance How do I properly get rid of that so the message goes away? I ever use any of that functionality and don't have mail on my computer. There's one file in /var/mail called lance, and it's huge. Can I just remove it?
