• VC++2008 Debugger doesn't find library sources

  An exception got thrown from a lib I use in my project. As I looked at the callstack, I clicked at the lib function that threw the exception. An "Open File" dialog popped up, prompting me to tell it where the lib source is located. Now clearly something is wrong. This should happen automatically somehow. How do I tell VS where to look for all files from that lib?

  Hi i use wshttpbinding in my service Config and message security. my app works fine but after 10 or 20 min when client call any method of service, an exception throw cuz my security token will be expired, and connection cant be work. one solution is re_create connection to make new token (but i cant use this cuz my service contain datacontext and if i re_create service, datacontext will be new) other solution is change security type from message to transport (i try this solution but nothing change cuz other exception throw)

• Strange Java Socket Behavior (Connects, but Doesn't Send)

  I have a fairly complex project that boils down to a simple Client / Server communicating through object streams. Everything works flawlessly for two consecutive connections (I connect once, work, disconnect, then connect again, work, and disconnect). The client connects, does its business, and then closes. The server successfully closes both the object output stream and the socket, with no IO errors. When I try to connect a third time, the connection appears to go through (the ServerSocket.accept() method goes through and an ObjectOutputStream is successfully created). No data is passed, however. The inputStream.readUnshared() method simply blocks. I have taken the following memory precautions: When it comes time to close the sockets, all running threads are stopped, and all objects are nulled out. After every writeUnshared() method call, the ObjectOutputBuffer is flushed and reset. Has anyone encountered a similar problem, or does anyone have any suggestions? I'm afraid my project is rather large, and so copying code is problematic.   I've got a number of tasks/servlets that are hitting the HardDeadlineExceededError which is leaving everything hanging in an 'still executing' state. The work being done can easily exceed the 29 second threshold. I try to catch the DeadlineExceededException and base Exception in order to save the exit state but neither of these exception handlers are being caught... Is there a way to determine which tasks are in the queue or currently executing? Are there any other strategies for dealing with this situation?

User enters Aplication url (http://localhost:8082/eIA_Mock_5) it has a welcome page (index.jsp) Index.jsp gets winId through jQuery and hits login.html (through Ajax) and passes windowsId login.html (Controller) authenticates through LDAP and gives back 'Valid' String as a response javascript, upon getting the correct response, redirects/loads welcome page i.e. goes to localhost:8082/eIA_Mock_5/welcome.html Now, i have filter associated with it..which checks for is session valid for each incoming request..Now the problem is even though i set data on to httpsession, yet the filter or any other controller fails to get the data through session as a result it doesnt proceeds further.. here is the code..and could you suggest what is wrong actually ?? In some cases with attatched debuger we can make impossible call, while without debugger we cannot catch any exception and application fastfails. It's just not the clr exception. There are memory acces vialation, reading zero pointer inside of internal code. Use case: You develop something like plugins system for your app. You read external assembly, find suitable method in some type, and execute it. And we just forgot about that we need to check up is the type generic or not. Under VS (and .net from 2.0 to 4.0) everything works fine. Called function does not uses static context of generic type and type parameters. But without VS application fails with no sound. We even cannot identify call stack attaching debuger. Tested with .net 4.0 The question is why VS catches but runtime do not?

  Selenium clickAt() function is throwing "Unsupported" exception while using with WebDriver (WebDriverBackedSelenium or just Selenium 2.x using ChromeDriver). Is there any way to use this Selenium function via WebDriver? Adding some code for context ...
