    Hi, I have 2 Ubuntu laptops in the same WiFi network. I would like to 'hg clone' from 1 laptop to another. In my source laptop, I have a 'hg' repository in ~/work/myserver and my source laptop ip address inet addr:192.168.1.2. So what should i do on my dest laptop so that I can clone my hg repository?   • Phonegap jqm mixing local and server html files

    I would like to add some online pages to an application keep them up to date without releasing a new store version. For this I taught I could use jqm ajax navigation to load the external page. (I'm aware that might not be allowed for all platforms.) I have set: $.mobile.allowCrossDomainPages = true; $.mobile.pushStateEnabled = false; This seems to work but the problem is that all my href's and $.mobile.ChangePages would have to be changed to <a href='http://mydomain.com/mypage.html'>link</a> $.mobile.changePage('http://mydomain.com/mypage.html'); in stead of <a href='mypage.html'>link</a> $.mobile.changePage('http://mydomain.com/mypage.html'); I was thinking about overriding the changepage method(found this somewhere) to add a domain when the user is online, but the problem is that this method get's called more then once. var originalChangePage = $.mobile.changePage; $.mobile.changePage = function(to, options) { var o = JSON.stringify(o); try { to = to.replace('file:///android_asset/www/', 'http://mydomain.com/'); } catch (err) { //to isn't always filled in. } originalChangePage(to, options); }; Is there a better way to load html pages locally and online using jqm ajax navigation?     Hi all, I want to run & control a process remotely, I found the best way is the WMI APIs, The WMI gives me information about the remote process but I need more control like waiting it and getting the standard output and errors, how can I do that, and can I get an instance of System.Diagnostics.Process class by instance ID remotely? note: I tried to get an instance of the Process by Process.GetProcessByPID and passign machineName parameter, but and Exception has thrown.   • strange wpf errors on xp machine

    I created an application that has two windows. the second one is opened by .showDialog() command from the first window. on Windows 7 everything works fine but when running on XP the first window works fine but when trying to open the second window the application crash. exception message: Provide value on 'System.Windows.Baml2006.TypeConverterMarkupExtension' threw an exception. and now for the weird part: when changing the application and making the second window run first it opens without a problem. when removing the icon from the second window (it's the same file for both windows) it also runs fine. any ideas on how to solve this?

    I need to add 2 type of links to existing report with c#. For exapmle: 1) http://www.google.co.il/ 2) file:///C:/index.html I added the links, but only the "http://" works. when I press the link of "file:///" nothing happens. I've uploaded the full project (very small though) which includes the problem: http://www.filefactory.com/file/452gsoyymalv/n/ObjectReports.zip btw, The "index.html" is a simple 'helloWorld' which loaded successfully when writing the path on the address bar in the browser.     Hi, I'm looking for an HTTP Proxy/GUI combination that should be installed locally on my Windows PC. The UI should display something similar to Firebugs "Network" tab, showing request/response headers and content as plaintext. It would be cool if I could attach requests to a sort of node for later comparison, similar to what you can do when using the Proxy that comes with JMeter.

  • Python UTF-8 can't decode byte on 32-bit machine

    it works fine on 64 bit machines but for some reason will not work on python 2.4.3 on a 32-bit instance. i get the error 'utf8' codec can't decode bytes in position 76-79: invalid data for the code try: str(sourceresult.sourcename).encode('utf8','replace') except: raise Exception( repr(sourceresult.sourcename ) ) it returns 'kazamidori blog\xf9' i have modified my site.py file to make UTF8 the default encoding, but still doesnt seem to be working.

I did "hg pull new-feature", it said "repository new-feature not found"! Thank you.

  • Issue displaying a local image from XAML

    Hello, I have the below simple xaml: <Window x:Class="WpfApplication1.Window1" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" Title="Window1" Height="300" Width="300"> <Grid> <Image Source="happyface.jpg"/> </Grid> </Window> happyface.jpg is included in the project and its Build Action is set to "Content" and Copy To Ouptput Directory is set to "Copy Always". When looking at the app through the VS designer, everything is ok and I see the image. However, when I run the app, no image is displayed. I see the image is copied to the out out directory. If I put in the entire path as the source (C:\SANDBOX\WpfApplication1\WpfApplication1\bin\Debug") it works. Any ideas as to why the image is not displayed when I run the app? I read about pack URIs but thought that to just simply reference a loose image in the current directory, I can just use the image name. Thank you.

How do I transfer the data files from my current working environment to the devices?

  • Identifying idle state on a windows machine

    I know about the GetLastInputInfo method but that would only give me the duration since last user input - keyboard or mouse. If a user input was last received 10 minutes ago, that wouldn't mean the system has been idle for 10 minutes - scans, downloads, movies - lots of reasons. So how can we identify whether the system is truly idle or not? Does anyone know what Window's definition of "idle" is? Must be a combination of thresholds - like less than 5% cpu util, less than 3% disk util etc. - along with the user input parameter...anyone knows the exact definition?

    How can I obtain the (IPv4) addresses for all network interfaces using only proc? After some extensive investigation I've discovered the following: ifconfig makes use of SIOCGIFADDR, which requires open sockets and advance knowledge of all the interface names. It also isn't documented in any manual pages on Linux. proc contains /proc/net/dev, but this is a list of interface statistics. proc contains /proc/net/if_inet6, which is exactly what I need but for IPv6. Generally interfaces are easy to find in proc, but actual addresses are very rarely used except where explicitly part of some connection. There's a system call called getifaddrs, which is very much a "magical" function you'd expect to see in Windows. It's also implemented on BSD. However it's not very text-oriented, which makes it difficult to use from non-C languages.

    I made an autogenerated movie clip using JES (Jython Environment for Students). I can play it without any problem using playMovie(), but I can't figure out how to have it saved physically on disk. The error java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException has occured Please check line 35 Note : I also tried the function writeAVI(), with the exact same result. This error sounds like a java bug in Jython/JES library. I am running JES under Windows 7 and have all the common Quicktime and AVI codex installed as well as the QTjava library in my jre... Any brilliant idea ? EDIT : Also tried the Linux version with same result for both QuickTime and AVI...

    Hi, I'm trying to send emails through localhost (XAMPP Windows 1.7.3 installation), but I've been trying for hours with no success. Is there anything I need to setup in my server to insure email delivery? I messed with php.ini and sendmail's config a bit with no luck. And openSSL isn't available in case that matters. Any idea what's wrong?

    I'm trying to do the following: listen on some port for loopback connections only, and then start listening on any IP address. Here is the code: TcpListener l1 = new TcpListener(new IPEndPoint(IPAddress.Loopback, 12345)); l1.Start(); Socket s = l1.AcceptSocket(); Console.ReadKey(); //s.Close(); l1.Stop(); TcpListener l2 = new TcpListener(new IPEndPoint(IPAddress.Any, 12345)); l2.Start(); l2.AcceptSocket(); Console.ReadKey(); The problem is that if a client connects while listening on the Loopback address (l1), then no other client can connect to the Loopback address when the second listener (l2) starts listening. why is that? Another thing I noticed is that if I close all clients that connected to l1 (the remarked line), then l2 does accept loopback connections. Any ideas?

Now,there are some images in my file system,and I save its absolute path in the db. Like this; id name address image 1 xxxx xxxx C:/images/xxx.jpg Now if the entity is retrived,its image should be displayed in the page. How to make it? What I thought is copy the image under the web server dir,then build its url,then the page can render it. But I wonder if this is a good idea? Is there any other way?

    Hi all, I have a problem with a Javascript request to the Google Map Api Web Service : if I have the HTML file on my computer it works, but it doesn't work online.
